Guest Reviews
- Patrick (5/5): Very average and underwhelming - Good parking and location Noisy corridors and floor above. All leisure facilities not on site. Breakfast poor.
- David (8/5): Would go again. - Nice comfortable & clean Food a bit expensive but decent menu
- graham (9/5): - friendly staff and good food nothing
- Ray (9/5): It was comfortable and enjoyable - On arrival the receptionist made us feel comfortable as she was very helpful. We only used the restaurant for evening meals and generally we were happy although as experienced in the past Sunday's meal can be variable (the meat in the steak and ale pie was tough.) They often go unnoticed but the cleaners were brilliant as they were so flexible. Tough meat in my steak and ale pie also a little too salty. The lift was not working although on the other hand my partner said multi use of the stairs was good exercise.
- Andrew (8/5): - Stayed only 1 night to meet friends who live local. Room was large , clean with everything we needed.
Breakfast was very good. All OK.
- Bill (10/5): Perfect hotel for your every occasion - This wasn’t our first stay in a hotel in Kilmarnock, but we shall always book our future stays at the Park Hotel. No complaints
- Margo (10/5): Great value, great visit - Breakfast is delicious and great choice I feel the beds aren’t as comfortable as they used to be. Maybe time to renew them
Keine Frischen Speisen..
- Kelly (10/5): - All staff are very friendly
Reception staff are helpful with arranging further bookings for me.
Restaurant staff are lovely
Having stayed there for last few months every week I feel like they have got to know me and we have a little banter.
Housekeepers work hard to keep the rooms spotless
Food is always excellent
It is the staff that make the hotel what it is.
- richard (10/5): - Modern, clean, good food
- Sheena (10/5): -
- Brian (8/5): - Dinner was very good as was service.
- Bob (10/5): Great stay, lovely breakfast, excellent room and attentive staff. Thanks again. - Excellent room, very well maintained, large with all amenities required. Breakfast was great, full scottish with plenty of other options. Tea and coffee available with toast and all other breakfast usuals. I didn't have dinner as it was a football home game and I did not book before I arrived. Very popular and fully booked on arrival. The bar menu was suffice along with a few ciders. Excellent all round. Nothing, all was good for me.
- mcmenemie (10/5): -
- Hamish (10/5): - Great hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent food
- Christopher (9/5): -
- ELAINE (6/5): was handy location - good choice of food for breakfast, room was spacious, main meals were expensive and same choice every night. no disabled facilities, hard to get in and out of rooms and high bath to get into

- peter (10/5): Would stay again. - Everything. Location. Staff friendliness. Clean Nothing
- Jonas (7/5): - Frukosten var utmärkt Vi hade två rum och vi behövde byta båda då sängarna i ena rummet var trasiga och det var alldelses för kallt i det andra rummet. Dock löste personalen detta åt oss.
- Jacquie (9/5): - Helpful staff Lift was broken and didn't like the coffee machine
- Ian (10/5): -
- jacqueline (9/5): -
- carole (10/5): - Everything was amazing Breakfast in the room there wasn't much on the plate! Which was a shame as it was really enjoyable the one rasher with a few other little bits that was on my plate.
- Dani (10/5): -
- Ann (5/5): Disappointed - There accounts system made life difficult for our party of people and £75 deputies for evening meal not acceptable evening staff very unhelpful morning staff especially good The price we all paid different prices for the rooms paying for our meals was not easy
- Graeme (10/5): A night in Kilmarnock - Great location and easy to locate alongside the Kilmarnock football ground. Plenty of parking directly in front of the hotel. Nothing
- Elizabeth (8/5): Always a friendly welcome. - Friendly staff. Good price for the 2 days we stayed. Very noisy floorboards on rooms above us. The guest in room above us was up very early morning 5.00am, it woke us up when they were walking around their room.
- Scott (10/5): Park hotel - Rooms were excellent. Bed was a bit lumpy as it was 2 singles pushed together
The 2 drinks in the blues restaurant were flat. Food was excellent.
Drinks in the pavilion bar was a lot better
- Stephen (10/5): Great stay- rip of drink prices - The rooms were big and clean
Bet was comfy with four pillows. Hotel has great sound proof from the outside as there was a function on and couldn't heat it. The shower head is dirty but most get like that but should be cleaned. Having only Aspal cider as your only unfavourable cider is criminal. Its the worst and we had to leave and go up to town to get more variety. Also £17.75 for one pint of cider and one glass of Prosecco is quite frankly disgusting. Im all for everyone making money but the full bottle of Prosecco can be bought for less than £10 at a shop. Appalling should not be more than £6.50. Shame on you!
- Kelly (10/5): - All staff are very attentive. From reception to restaurant staff.
I have been coming here for several months with work and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.
- Patricia (9/5): A very warm welcome with lovely staff who couldn’t do enough for us. - The staff were excellent. The room was well equipped but felt a bit tired and in need of refurbishment. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and the pillows were a poor standard. It was spotlessly clean and the tea/Coffe facilities well stocked and plentiful. The hallways and public areas are in need of repair: duct tape on the carpets and cracks in the floor tiles. Doors in need of re varnishing, repair. Breakfast was mainly processed foods at the buffet.
- Nigel (9/5): -
- Robin (10/5): Everything was great apart from a cold room. - Ideal location for my work Room was cold
- Mary (7/5): It was a break . - The lift was broken and my son couldn’t walk well at all, nor could he see properly.navigatingthe heavy doors with luggage and helping my son was very difficult.the staff did all they could. The bathroom floor wasn’t cleaned properly. We had no kettle fora warm drink. The chocolate brownie sundae was excellent. The breakfast was really disappointing. Haggis was not the real thing. The potatoe cake was tough.
- cherle (8/5): Good stay, comfortable and well organised hotel. - The breakfast was OK, .
We received very good service from Doreen.
We used the Pavillion which was very golf.
We found Blues restaurant very comfortable, the food was perfect and we received exemplary pleasant service throughout from Laura. The coffee machine, long queues due to only one person able to use it at one time.
- Matthew (8/5): -
- Amy (7/5): -
- Jane (10/5): - Friendly staff, very clean and great food Everything was great.
- Sharon (10/5): We will be back.. outstanding in every aspect - Every single thing was exceptional! The private dining party on the evening food, staff all excellent. Our rooms fantastic, the staff throughout the hotel amazing and breakfast lovely. The lift out of order was a pain for our evening of private dining as it was upstairs and we had elderly people with walking difficulties, but it couldn’t of been helped..
- Stevie (7/5): -
- peter (8/5): Enjoyable comfortable and on the way - Evening meal was awesome The lift was out of order, The signage to the room number absent at the top of the stairs

- Craig (8/5): Overnight stay pre golf tournament. Would use it again - Main course dinner excellent. Great service. Room comfortable and not too hot Sockets are quite far from edge of bed
- evelyn (8/5): - Nice clean hotel in good location Heating was difficult to use

- Mark (10/5): Excellent stay-would recommend to friends & family. - At the Park Hotel, the staff were very helpful and gave a friendly service. The food in the blue park was excellent which made my stay even more of a pleasure. Definitely would recommend! Breakfast was very good but the only thing that out me off was one of the staff had a cold/ bad cough.
When staff have a cold or cough, they shouldn't be servicing food in my opinion. But this didn't put me off my stay here and I will visit the park hotel again... Thank you
- Deeney (9/5): - The staff were all lovely breakfast was well worth the money and the place was spotless Coffee machine in room would rather have a kettle
- Richard (9/5): Excellent hotel. - It’s a really good hotel and the staff are excellent.
- Teodora (8/5): The place to stay if you visit Kilmarnock - Rooms are spacious and spacious and clean. The reception staff was extremely helpful . They helped us with airport transfer. We didn't eat at the restaurant as it was fully booked for lunch during our stay, but it looked nice and the food smelled good. The window couldn't be opened. This might have been related to safety procedures as we stayed in a room at the ground floor.
- Peter (9/5): A night in Killie - Clean and well maintained hotel. Friendly staff from start to finish. Large double room with plenty of storage. Bathroom was a good size everything was clean and tidy. Had something to eat in the bar as restaurant was busy ( who knew it would be busy on a Saturday night in Kilmarnock 🤣)
Breakfast was excellent good choice fast and efficient service by the staff again.
Staff are a credit to the hospitality industry. Its only a grumble! A bit more choice on the bar menu. Probably would have had a dessert but don't really like ice cream or Sundays.
Parking might be fun on a match day.
- Rosemarie (7/5): -
- Nick (9/5): Convenient and relaxing. - Its location and the rooms were very high quality. Not a lot really it was a decent place.
- Helen (8/5): Park Hotel - Very clean..Good location. Friendly efficient staff. Nothing
- Orla (8/5): Staff were excellent, very friendly and accommodating. - The staff were excellent and very accommodating. Food was good. The bed was not comfortable.
- Tilly (10/5): A lovely weekend spent in a lovey hotel. Amazing staff and perfect facilities. I’ll definitely be back! - The staff are so lovely and accommodating. I was in the area for a bodybuilding show and they let me the fridges, microwave, kettle etc. to prepare my meals. The team smiling and joking with the guests. The atmosphere was brilliant. n/a.
- Tony (8/5): -
- Colin (9/5): -
- Kelly (10/5): -
- Thomas (8/5): -
- John (10/5): Enjoyed our stay, this was our second time - Next to football park but inside very quiet. Evening meal was superb, breakfast was adaptable if you wanted to mix and match hot items. The elevator was broken.
- Duhald (10/5): -
- Iain (5/5): -
- Mairiead (8/5): Lovely hotel easy parking easy access to work location lovely staff and the food was amazing - Clean comfortable fully met needs Lift out of operation

- Lesley (6/5): Room only very good / otherwise don’t bother - The rooms were lovely The food - dinner was cold and had to be returned twice . Breakfast was the same / not acceptable

- Darren (10/5): Fantastic place, with a great breakfast - Lovely big spacious room which was spotless Nothing
- Claire (9/5): Great hotel, convenient. Well organised and friendly staff. - Friendly staff
Good breakfast
Nice atmosphere in the restaurant
Great free parking
Quiet surroundings (was there when there were no football on) The bed was quite firm, however it was clean and well made up both days, so this was a minor point.
- glastywyll (10/5): You’ll genuinely enjoy staying here! - Earlier this month I had to dash up from London to Kilmarnock to visit my sister who had been rushed in to the nearby Crosshouse Hospital.
Jumped on to the first train I could get and booked the nearest hotel (this one) without much thought.
What a lovely surprise! The room was enormous, spotless and very comfortable. The bigger surprise was that the staff here were all unfailingly superb!
I had rung from the hospital to let the hotel know I’d be quite late booking in, and that was very professionally handled. When I did get there the receptionist and restaurant staff were really supportive and organised sandwiches for me, which were fresh, enormous and came with crisps and a little side of fresh coleslaw!
Breakfast in the morning was equally good, and was freshly cooked.
This was very much a flying visit, due to the circumstances, but I was so impressed by the high standards I spoke to the manager to tell them how well the staff had been doing their jobs. This hotel has something special: a great building, lovely facilities, high standards and lovely staff.
Stay here! You’ll enjoy it.
- Sharon (9/5): - Super spacious room, very clean, good facilities, excellent breakfast. Staff friendly and accommodating Coffee machine complicated to use and the coffee was awful
- paul (10/5): - Great for going to football Nothing
- Rosemary Rankine (8/5): - Breakfast
Although the breakfast is very good we felt that a £2,50 surcharge for a 3 omelette is best excessive worst penny pinching. .
Considering special requests can be requested at no extra cost.
There is no draught beer .
- katebN1881HQ (2/5): Bad service - I was at the park hotel on Sunday for a birthday dinner with my husband &grandson service was awful was left with our empty plates on table for over 45mins I had 2 ask for them to be removed we also tried to use a voucher we had received as a present & didn’t realise there was a expiry date on the voucher so was unable to use it. Food was good but service awful have been a frequent visitor here as live local but I won’t return
