• Maria (8/5): Buena ubicacion - Nos cambiaron a un apartamento y estaba muy bien. La ubicacion es muy buena. Muchas escaleras para subir con las maletas. Intente contactar con ellos por booking y por telefono una vez ya instaladoa para pedir wifi y para hacer check out y fue imposible.

• Miguel Uriel (6/5): Caro, ruidoso y decepcionante - No ofrece desayuno. Mi experiencia en Hotel El Viajero fue decepcionante y contradictoria con lo que el propio hotel exige. En los pasillos hay ruido constante, gritos y desorden a cualquier hora, mientras en las habitaciones colocan avisos pidiendo “regular el volumen del televisor”. Coherencia cero. El alojamiento se usa como simple “pasa-noche”, incluso para encuentros de prostitución con clientes, lo que afecta la seguridad, el descanso y la imagen del lugar. A primera hora la mucama toca la puerta para preguntar si se desea aseo, interrumpiendo el descanso sin previo acuerdo. La habitación carece de un clóset adecuado y de ganchos suficientes; no hay secador de cabello, algo básico en hoteles de tres estrellas. Aunque cuenta con aire acondicionado, no proporcionan sábanas adecuadas para arroparse y, para rematar, ponen un aviso indicando subir el aire a 20–24 °C: frío sin abrigo. Las almohadas son duras e incómodas, lo que empeora la calidad del descanso. No ofrecen desayuno, algo estándar que sí he recibido en hoteles 3 estrellas como Hotel Windsor Barranquilla y otros en Medellín. La zona, además, está saturada de prostitución, lo que termina desdibujando la imagen de la ciudad amurallada. Para completar, el precio es alto para lo que realmente ofrece: servicios básicos ausentes, descanso deficiente y mala gestión del ruido. Conclusión: mucho aviso y poca gestión. Si piden normas, empiecen por cumplir lo básico.

• mahnaz (1/5): Don’t stay there! No windows, no air, no sunlight, only lots of noise. - The receptionists were kind Nothing to like about the property itself. No rooms have windows. There’s no hot water. When I still could cancel my reservation free of charge (24hrs before checking) I’ve texted them and asked if the rooms have real windows to fresh air. They didnt reply until 3-4 hrs before checking in. Meaning I couldn’t cancel my booking. They sent a video saying the rooms have windows, which they don’t! There are not windows, they open to the kitchen or the hallway, no light nor air. I’ve contacted booking.com and told them the hotel is not replying me. Booking.com didn’t do anything either, until it was too late, saying that I’m on the merci of the hotel if they want to cancel and refund me. I really don’t recommend to stay there. Worse than windows and fresh air and light is the amount of noise. You litterally can’t sleep. People are using the hall until 1-2 midnight, then it’s washing machine and dryer sound, then early in the morning people are making food and … it was the most dreadful stay I’ve ever had in my life.

El personal del hotel muy amable y nos solucionó algunos problemas que hemos tenido. Hemos tenido que cambiar la habitación por un problema al inodoro, ya que se tapó fácilmente. Además hemos encontrado las sábanas algo manchadas en ambas habitaciones. Hemos tenido que pedir jabón ya que solo había una barrita pequeña para dos personas, en verano, y por dos días. En ninguna de las dos habitaciones había ganchos para colgar toallas mojadas después de ducha, con lo cual no sabíamos dónde apoyarlas

• D (1/5): Ladies of th night are allowed. - Location The issue here is that they support sex tourism. I don’t find it ok as it’s not the best way a hotel should be promoting their hotel, city, its community to the world. I heard noises at around 11pm I walked to reception to check on it and there were 3 men’s which were the hotels customers with 4 ladies of the night checking the ladies in. Also as a woman traveling alone I don’t find it safe as I think that type of environment can bring out any type of danger, a danger I didn’t went to search for. I won’t recommend it to women’s travelling alone or to anyone who doesn’t agree with sex tourism and I think guests should be advised that this type of services is offered by the hotel then ones can decide about it. I didn’t sign up for that and I honestly didn’t feel comfortable with the situation. Thank you anyways…

Het appartement voldeed aan onze verwachten en ligt pal in het centrum. Er is airco en een blazer aanwezig, wat ideaal is met het warm weer. Er is geen lift aanwezig. De elektriciteit is één maal 's morgens uitgevallen. Toen we moesten uitchecken was deze nog niet gemaakt.

Buen aire acondicionado, tan necesario en Cartagena Que la habitación no tuviera ninguna ventana, ni siquiera al corredor interior. No hay ascensor, y el tramo de subida de escaleras hasta la recepción cargando con maletas es durillo.

La ubicación en pleno centro histórico es inmejorable. La habitación daba a la zona de cocina por lo que era totalmente interior y había ruidos. No cuentan con desayuno, lo que sería una buena opción. El baño era muy pequeño y antiguo, necesita una reforma.

El día que llegue no había energia, me informaron que se restablecería a las 17h y esto no fue asi, no tenían un generar electrico para afrontar esta situación como otros negocios en el sector. Espere hasta las 20.30h y seguía sin servicio de energía, por lo que decidí irme.

I will never stay at this property again. That’s my opinion. Properly was not good road is blocked off every night. Also light goes out a lot. No hot water. No safety box to keep your stuff and protected rooms are too small bathroom too small sink is in the bathroom where you shower never again.
