- CHENG (10/5): 交通方便 - 打算住大船係因為交通方便，可以去江之島亦方我第二日去熱海。去江之島可以考慮搭單軌列車或巴士，巴士可以直接去到島上。我的選擇是搭巴士到島上遊覽再行回單軌車站，順道影下江之電列車。 唯一留意是：要使用JR站下，巴士站旁行去酒店，不然會繞路

- Rojelio (10/5): - The hotel is really all you need. The room is not large, but good enough for a couple. Good breakfast, easy to find from the train station and close to shopping, etc. I would stay there again each time I would come to this area.
- Tamiko (10/5): I recommend JR Mets - its location is very convenient, just a few minutes away from the train station, Ofuna, and shopping areas are right there. Rooms are rather sizable compared to other this type of Japanese hotels. Over all this hotel is one of my favorites in Japan.

- Edwin (8/5): - The hotel is just 3 min walk from Ofuna train station so there will be noises from the train till midnight. I was given a room facing the tracks but I realise I can’t sleep with the perpetual noises so I requested for another room. Thankfully there was one room available facing the street which was better for me because even though there is a monorail track, the interval is longer and it was quieter compared to the trains. Other than this, I had a comfortable stay here and it was very convenient to commute since you have the options of trains, buses and monorail just a few minutes of walk away.

- Michael (10/5): Great stay! - Hotel was in pristine condition! The rooms were clean and crisp. Although on the small side, we had all what we needed. The amenities can be grabbed by the hotel lobby and in quantities one needs. There are vending machines and a laundry in the back of the lobby and a free coffee machine right across the elevator. All in all a pleasant experience!

As for the restaurant, the dinner menu is nice, but the breakfast is rather disappointing, and the morning staff seem to be a little disengaged, but compared to the terrible basic breakfast options and barely-even-there staff at most basic hotels in the U.S. the restaurant here is 4-star fantastic.

Didn't dine in the area, but safe, easy, quiet.

We rode the Enoden line nearby during our stay and had a fun day.

Ōfuna train station has easy access to tourist attractions in Kamakura (the old Japanese capital) and Enoshima (one of the sites of the upcoming summer Olympic Games). - Verified traveler (8/5): Ofuna - JR East hotel - 3 night business trip, very convenient, walking close to OFUNA rail station, the last stop on the western Tokyo / Yokohama suburbs for the Narita Express Line (NEX). Hotel is super modern, decent size for mid range Japanese hotels, all AC, room heat and other room controls are in Japanese (but the fancy toilet has pictures), so it was a bit difficult adjusting temperature settings. Bed was better than good, TV is all Japanese, so load up your Netflix accounts before the trip if you don’t do Japanese language programming!

- Verified traveler (10/5): - You can get to the hotel straight from the Ofuna Station. The check-in is quick and the staff is welcoming. I had a cityscape view with a monorail, which I really recommend taking for a view of Mt. Fuji in clear weather. The room is clean, bed comfortable, AC and air purifier quiet, internet fast, bathroom in great condition and you can take toiletries such as bath salts in the lobby. The breakfast buffet was delicious - you have a choice of about 8 dishes and then you have a buffet of rice, miso soup, pickles, yoghurt, tea, coffee, toasts... all to your heart's content. Overall this is a great hotel for exploring the Kamakura region!
