- rayrW6398UZ (10/5): Spending Christmas with family that lives in the area - Location was great visiting family atmosphere of the hotel was really good the handicap accessible room was very good and very convenient for my wife and the value was great
- stephanielZ4461QU (10/5): Hospitality That Felt Like Home! - We had such a wonderful experience at **Cobblestone Inn & Suites** in Guernsey,WY. We were traveling from California with our five-month-old baby when we got caught in a really bad wind storm, and the staff and the manager were there for us without a moment’s hesitation. Their kindness and calm made a stressful situation so much easier for our little family.
The inn was **spotlessly clean**, which we especially appreciated while traveling with a baby. The rooms felt fresh, comfortable, and well cared for. But what really made our stay special was how **friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring** everyone was. They didn’t just make us feel welcome—they made us feel like we were part of their village.
We’re so grateful for the warmth and hospitality we received. If you’re looking for a place that feels like a home away from home, Cobblestone Inn & Suites is truly a gem. Highly recommended!
- Rinehart (8/5): Comfortable - Very clean. Staff nice. Quiet and comfortable
- Milan (9/5): From ten hotels (of the same category) we used during our journey the Cobblestone was the best. - Breakfast was standard but OK. We had a fresh feeling from the hotel. Unfortunately, we were only passing through the city going to Badlands NP..
- Kathryn (10/5): -
- G (6/5): New construction lacks an elevator. Nice built-in outdoor charcoal BBQ spot. -
- Will (8/5): - Clean and comfortable
- miltoncQ1893NV (10/5): Loved it . I would definitely stay there again and recommended - Everyone was very professional except one individual but it was a great state. I would recommend it very clean, comfortable beds, great. Walking distance to local stores. Great food to eat around the area. Great breakfast at the hotel.
- Katevit (10/5): Nice stay with our dog - We stayed 1 nite with our pup because we were adopting from the nearby Kindness Ranch Animal Sanctuary & could not have been happier. Cobblestone is a pet friendly hotel, and was easy to get to from the highway. They had a nice grassy area right next to the North Platte River. There was also a walking path along the river right across the street. The front desk staff was very friendly and the room was just right. Comfortable beds and nice clean bathrooms. If we were ever in the area again I would not hesitate to stay here again. I highly recommend Cobblestone Inn.
- Kathryn (10/5): Very happy here! - I was really impressed with the appearance of this hotel, the location right on the Platte River where many families were tubing, and the friendliness of the staff. Our room was spotless, new and modern, with plenty of towels, a comfortable king bed, microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Also had DirecTV with all the channels. I only wish the window opened so that we could hear the river but that is a small issue.
- Richard (8/5): - We had a power surge and power was ha
- Mark (10/5): -
- Bryan (7/5): -
- Allen (7/5): Mostly as expected - The room and amenities were as described. The shower head should be replaced in a $200 room in a pass through town hotel.
- Colleen (10/5): Very nice place in Guernsey - Very clean, nice comfortable room.
Great location
Wonderful staff
- marksS3722FY (10/5): The best - A very clean and fresh facility. Friendly staff. Nice furnishings in the room. I would have preferred Casper stations on the TV. Not enough nice things to say about the place. They should have a stay and play package with the golf course. Lovely. There’s my 200 characters that are equipped for a review.
- gwengG4005DW (10/5): Very nice stay - The lady at the front desk was very nice when checking in. the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The options at breakfast were fine. they had the normal choices of waffles, pastries, sausage patties, eggs, fruit, oatmeal packets and cold cereal. We would stay here again.
- Cathy (9/5): Wonderful stay. We would stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel - Loved the location, cleanliness, comfort, and friendly staff There was no juice offered at the breakfast bar, but the coffee was spectacular
- E1228IIcarlar (2/5): Poor management, high price - Poor service by hotel management. The fire alarm went off numerous times in the middle of the night. No compensation was made upon my request. After trying to call and email the manager, there was no response. Also the price was exorbitantly high for the location.
- Robin (10/5): - Fine, basic hotel in the small town of Guernsey. Not quite as nice as a Hampton Inn but much nicer than a Motel 6. Fridge and microwave in room. Comfortable bed and clean. Only one chair (we had a room with two queen beds), so if two people, one sits on the bed. Not many restaurants around the small town, so we had a few snacks/ sandwiches in the room from the local grocery store. We had trouble with the TV but just used our iPads. Very kind and helpful staff; decent free breakfast choices - breakfast burritos on the day we stayed. Fine location if driving through viewing the Oregon Trail NPS sites.
- Stephanie (10/5): - Lovely and clean. Try to stay in a room away from the road
- Kaylyn (10/5): Exceptional - We went to the oldest bar in WY, this was the hotel we selected due to location. Excellent place. Everything was great.
- Graeme (9/5): Superb -
- Aaron (6/5): My review - Hotel was fine, pillows were awful. I didn’t appreciate Hotels.com charging me nightly for a safe that I didn’t request, and didn’t need.
- Chris (10/5): - Very clean and quite.
- Carl (6/5): The room was nice, but the toilet was not clean. The lack of elevator was distressing! - The breakfast was good and the room was nice There is no elevator, we had to bring heavy bags up the stairs. We were not informed about the lack of elevator. We are senior citizens and the rude young lady told us there were no first floor rooms available, which we found the next day to be not true. The first room we were assigned had a dirty toilet. The second room was at the furthest end of the building from the first. The description needs to state there is no elevator.
- Jonela (8/5): Very good -
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - Outstanding room and facilities.
Excellent suggestion for dinner at Crazy Tony's Would prefer not to have throw away cutlery and crockery at breakfast
- Lismountain (8/5): Very good - Easy parking. Clean room. Good night's sleep
Great guest laundry Poor Internet.
- Carol (10/5): - Property is in great shape. It offers all the amenities we needed. Breakfast choices could be increased and there was no staff present to refill missing flatware.
- GrandTour26610884330 (10/5): Great place to stay - Awesome little town. The property was amazing very clean the bed was super comfortable. The staff was great very friendly and helpful from a speedy check-in to a hot breakfast for the road! Will definitely return again on business or pleasure!!!!!
- darrells792 (8/5): Clean, comfortable, reasonable price - The room, bed, and bathroom were all clean, bed was comfortable, decent breakfast including eggs and sausage included. There were no issues. Definitely fit it's 4.5 rating. The town;however, had only one sit down restaurant serving food that evening with at least a 45 minute wait so we ended up getting not so great pizza from the Sinclair gas station.
- Joy (10/5): Very comfortable & staff very helpful. - We arrived about midnight & staff was very helpful. They helped with carrying our luggage upstairs to our room & again when we checked out. Good selections for breakfast.
- Harold (8/5): - room nice---desk clerk when we arrived was excellent
breakfast was not good at all---serving area dirty
no one in breakfast area----desk clerk playing on his phone
- Caryl (10/5): - Great Facility. Outstanding staff. Very Helpful. Quick Check-In. Nice Clean Comfortable Room.
- 282suer (2/5): Very unhappy guest - Our experience was clouded by an over flowing toilet, which we had to move rooms for, however the biggest problem is the hotel charged us $26.40 after we left because they said it was for a ‘pet fee’ !
While it took the hotel 2 emails, to reply to our query on what the $26.40 was for, they still haven’t bothered to reply to my 2 other emails asking why they think we had a pet, when we never, plus us asking for a refund because of their mistake. We have no pets in England and certainly didn’t have any in the USA!
They certainly have no customer service and the manager isn’t in any a professional as she would have contacted us explaining why they charged us for a pet we didn’t have! They had no reason to take this money.
- AlanKLeeds (8/5): Good comfortable modern hotel - We stayed here for one night for a journey break. It's a typical modern hotel with good clean rooms, comfortable bed and close to the river. There is a basic breakfast, included in the booking, and there is a fridge in the room plus a guest laundry.
- Laura (9/5): Making sure I've visited Wyoming - I'm not a regular guest of Cobblestone Inns, and I was very pleased with my stay, but the comfort of my room and the quiet location along the historic North Platte River.
I wanted to make an overnight stay in Wyoming to insure I've had a proper visit in each of the US States. It was surely a beautiful drive through the State, with my eastward exit out of Wyoming.
I do hope to revisit the area sometime when my schedule is open. Guests should be aware that Cobbletone Inns often do not have elevators. At least this one does not. Fortunately my overnight bag is fairly minimal.
- Navigator68159308055 (10/5): A Night in Guersney - It was quiet, clean and comfortable. It was close to the Oregon Trail and loved the park at the river. Your hotel was close to gasoline, and grocery store. Loved the outdoor space with the w tables and grills if you wanted to cook. Thank you, it was a lovely stay!
- Rebekah (5/5): Served its purpose. - Clean and located right at the beginning of town next to the beautiful river The staff was rude and unprofessional. Was not worth the money considering location and lack of amenities
- Sebastiaan (8/5): Very good - Very friendly receptionist. Room is clean and quiet with a good bed. Nothing. This is a good motel. Nothing spectacular but nothing bad either.
- Kathleen (10/5): - It was great.
- D164QDchristinas (10/5): 10/10 - The room was clean, the ac felt great, it was quiet. Best part was the front desk girl. She was very personable and accommodating to me since I have 2 broken ankles she gave me a room on the 1st floor and close to the door so I didn't have to hobble very far. We had a very pleasant chat. I had a rough day and it was nice to talk to her and she made me smile!
- Erin (8/5): Very good -
- Cristi (9/5): Superb -
- 687lorettab (10/5): Small town quiet with history all around - The room and hotel were cean and fresh. The staff was friendly. I like the fresh coffee and tea always available in the lobby. It is right next to the Platte River and close to some Oregon Trail historic sites. I discovered Cobblestone a year or so back and the chain is now my small town go to when traveling.
- Loretta (10/5): My go to chain - Cobblestone is my new go to when I see one. Always clean and friendly with a good breakfast. Since they are only in small towns they are sometimes a bit off the main route but to me worth a few miles off my route plus small towns can be really cool when you start looking.
- Amanda (8/5): - I did not realize this place did not have an elevator. The breakfast was good. The staff members were very kind, but short staffed. The person handling checkout also was manning tge breakfast by herself. She was extremely friendly eventhough extremely busy and running back and forth. Most places I have stayed have one person for each position.
- Chancey (4/5): Disappointing - Location to floating access is great! Breakfast is good. Housekeeping staff is very courteous. Mouse turds in exercise room. Fruit at breakfast was too old. Bugs all over windows and entry doors. Staff was less than competent with check in/check out and billing.
- ASHLEY (10/5): - Kendra at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. Rooms and property were clean and quiet. Great breakfast too!
- Lydia (10/5): - Excellent facility. Very clean, quiet and the breakfasts were great. Highly recommend.
- thomas (10/5): - Great
- Patty (10/5): - The room was very nice and clean. The desk was very friendly . I ask for a lower level and that is what I had . I will stay again .. Thank you
- Rachel (7/5): Good -
- Sara (10/5): - Waterfront park across the street was nice. For walking.
- 12natasjalek (10/5): Amazing staff and very nice hotel! - The staff at Guernsey makes the hotel feel like home away from home. Everyone is so kind, eager to help and warm. The location is great too right across from the small beach and next to the river. The hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable. Will definitely be staying here again.
- Todd (10/5): We had a lovely stay in Guernsey and would seek out other Cobblestone Inns in the future. - We had a suite type room that was quite large with anything you might need available. It was all quite nice.
- Linda (8/5): Very good -
- Margie (8/5): - The staff was pleasant and helpful. However, the woman working on Saturday during breakfast was trying to cover the front desk AND the breakfast and was unable to keep up with keeping food and beverages filled up.
- Janice (9/5): Comfortable and friendly - It was surprising that there was lodging in the middle of nowhere. lol walked in and it was very clean and had a lot of conveniences of a hotel in the city. It’s so remote
- Alan (9/5): Superb -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I thought it was the cleanest motel I have stayed in. Breakfast was very good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay there very much.
- Alan (10/5): - Excellent
- seth (8/5): - Protect location near the lake :)
- Lori (10/5): - Very clean property, comfy beds, close to a couple stores, roomy suite! Loved it!
- Suzi (9/5): Superb -
- Linda (10/5): Would stay again - Very clean, comfortable room and common areas. Breakfast choices plentiful with clean dining room.
- Michael (6/5): - Decent hotel but the breakfast was out of coffee, waffles and bread. The worker was talking to a local for a long time and then went on a really long smoke break. We had to go get her on her smoke break so she would refill the coffee.
- Linda (8/5): Very good - Good size modern room. Good breakfast. Great stop off between Keystone and Denver. Wifi not working durinour stay
- Sky (8/5): - An excellent motel in every way except no elevator for the second floor.
- CHARLES (10/5): - Clean - nice lodging. next door to the North Platte River - very scenic- also near Oregon Trail historic site.
- bret (8/5): the best hotel in Guernsey - was clean and got the job done
- Alexey (2/5): Very poor - Hotel unable provide a correct receipt
- Collene (10/5): Great customer service - Kendra was so friendly and helpful during our entire visit. She helped ensure we could check in early before our trip, checked us in quickly and gave us valuable information.
- Robert (5/5): Nice hotel, good location, friendly staff. - Excellent location, friendly staff, a pleasant stay in all regards other than a two dollar surcharge for a room safe. I'd have been less offended if they'd charged ten bucks for parking. The slick little surcharge for the room safe. It is/was offensive enough that I will not stay there again.
- Richard (10/5): - Right on the river. Everything one would expect of a fine facility was there. Originally had us in a second floor room. The facility does not have an elevator. When I told them my wife was handicapped and had support equipment, they switched us to a first floor room.
- Jerri (10/5): Great -
- jeffvR1815WG (8/5): Good stay - Room was comfortable and quite. I has a small problem with the sink and the staff repaired it quickly. Staff was friendly and helpful. This is definitely the place to stay in Guernsey. My next trip I will stay at the cobblestone again.
- Betty (10/5): - This is a very nice hotel. Good service, quiet, and pleasant staff. We came to attend a family funeral in Hartville.
- Amy (9/5): Superb -
- melindaj964 (8/5): very nice for a small town - Nice room, very clean and updated. Lots of room for two queen beds. We had a very comfortable stay. Our room had a frig/coffee maker. Bathroom was good size. Typical breakfast for hotels. Very nice hotel for a small town.
- Gavin (6/5): - There was blood on the floor in the bathroom
- RobertSuzanne (10/5): Perfect Choice Hotel - We have never stayed at this brand hotel before, but we were very pleased that we did. All of the staff were super friendly, check in and out was quick and simple and we were offered many suggestions as what there is to do in the area. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The free breakfast offers plenty of choices to start your day. We would definitely stay here again.
- Dave (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carl (10/5): Excellent hotel on a road trip. - The best hotel I've stayed at...especially on a road trip and they accept pets! Loved it here...the food, the room, the cleanliness, the hospitality...it was great! After a long day, needed to relax and the next day, felt refreshed to continue the long drive ahead.
- Richard (8/5): Unexpected upscale in a tiny, remote town - It was a nice stay in a nice hotel in a cute little town. Good to have an upscale hotel in an out-of-the-way village. But my sub-5 ratings are because: )1 the base of the toilet was dirty with orange-tinted filth in one spot, a too-quick job by your housekeepers; and 2) there was no "service" to rate other than an awkward young man who checked us in, but making us think it was his first time doing so. That's it.
- margaret (10/5): - Good location. Great check in.
- Steve (10/5): - Right location
- Paul (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (8/5): Mt. Rushmore trip - This hotel hit the spot after a 3 hour drive from Colorado on our way to Mt. Rushmore. Clean, quiet and close to good eats and gas station.
- Naomi (9/5): Superb -
- Matthew (10/5): - stayed here on way through Wyoming, very happy with hotel
- Lenora (10/5): - Great property! Very clean, friendly staff, good breakfasts. Love the king suite that was handicapped accessible!!
- Navman1 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pamela (10/5): - We had a king suite so it was very spacious. Appreciated the cleanliness. Nice complimentary breakfast each morning. Convenient to put our kayaks in on the N Platte river and for meeting our friends who brought their boat, at Guernsey Reservoir. Dog friendly is always a plus for us!
- M (10/5): - This room is CLEAN, we went to a nearby steakhouse for dinner that was delicious, came back, grabbed a cup of coffee from the hotel (which was hot and they offered flavored syrup and cream), walked across the road to a park bench right down by the river, sat and listened to the water flow by and the crickets chirp. The bed has soft linens that are bright white and you just sink right into it.
- terrycJ7563KL (10/5): Family Reunion - We were there for a three day family reunion. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They let use the lounge for one of our gatherings. The rooms and motel were clean. The breakfasts were not the same each day, breakfast burritos, biscuit and gravy, and egg McMuffin on the three days we stayed. Had a slight hiccup on one our rooms but staff got, it taken care of. Heather, manager, was very helpful in the planning of the number of rooms. If I get back to the location I will stay here again.
- Heather (4/5): - The young man at night was great. He was an asset.
We are 66 and had to lug our suitcases up because there wasn’t an elevator. The shower head could only go on “ sharp hot needle setting” without spraying the entire bathroom. The toilet didn’t work properly late that night and My husband found a plunger downstairs but it didn’t help.
We get old plumbing. We have it. I told a woman with in the morning so the next guest would not have an issue. No “ sorry for your inconvenience”. Just a stare and ok. The town itself was full of nice folks.
