- Sophie (7/5): - Staff were helpful & friendly and the food was delicious We got upgraded to a slightly bigger room than we booked - it was fine but for the rate per night the furniture looked cheap, minimal decor, the shower was poor and towels were thin. There was a combi shampoo/shower wash and no body lotion etc which I would expect for over £200 a night. Service could be slow in the restaurant, with my partner having to find someone to serve us breakfast one morning after waiting over 10 mins. Additionally, there were dead flies on some tables, & the ones not in use were shoved into a corner. This didn’t give a nice atmosphere that you would hope for when main courses are £25+. Overall it was a nice enough place if you were paying ~£100 a night but feel they were too reliant on the lovely settings & lack of competition than maintaining the hotel to the standards expected for the price point.

- Heinrich (9/5): ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt mit Meerblick - Sehr schönes Zimmer (#5) mit Blick auf die Bucht, gutes Essen, prima Service, sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Essen mit Hund „nur“ in der Bar, jedoch mit Blick auf die Bucht und der Tisch wurde für uns immer reserviert und liebvoll eingedeckt. Nach unserem 3tägigen Aufenthalt empfehlen das Haus besonders. alles mehr als o. k.

- Rachael (6/5): Pleasant. Good location but over priced - Nice location, bar area and outside were pleasant to relax in. Nice dinner and a good breakfast. Overpriced for the standard of room. Pillows were old, hard and uncomfortable. The room had the tiniest bathroom I've ever seen, it was more like a cupboard. There wasn't even a proper door to it. Not good value when we paid over £200, just expect something more spacious and comfortable at that price.

- Richard (9/5): Beautiful hotel, great location outstanding staff and food - The hotel is in a beautiful location overlooking Coverack Bay. The receptionist was outstanding she was welcoming and arranged for my room to be ready much earlier than expected. The other outstanding thing was the evening meal the seafood linguine and vanilla cheesecake were exceptional. The only slight negative was the wait for breakfast when I arrived There was no one around and there was a wait before getting served probably due to lack of staff. The only minor problem was the TV in my room. I was unable to get terrestrial channels on it despite some assistance which was slightly disappointing.

- Renate (10/5): Wahnsinnig schön - Freundlich, sauber, super Frühstück, tolle Ausstattung. Es gab ein kostenloses Upgrade bei der Ankunft und das Personal hat sich wahnsinnig bemüht, dass wir uns wohlfühlen. Super Hunde freundlich. Es gab sogar Hundeeis, jede Menge Leckereien und ein extra Handtuch für unseren Hund.

Upon arrival I received a room upgrade, the Bay Hotel staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, the location is out of a movie, I basically rolled out of the breakfast room every morning because I ate so much and I got some of the best sleep I had in ages… I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and I hope I can come back soon! Many thanks to the staff for making this trip truly memorable. I had wished for more dogs ;)

- Cheryl (10/5): A welcoming hotel embracing the spirit of the cosy harbour village of Coverack. - The hotel is ideally placed for wonderful views over the bay and harbour, with a short walk down to the beach or along the lane to the harbour and shops. The hotel restaurant was amazing; breakfast and evening meals were like a breath of fresh air in themselves - so good!! You just want nice, properly done food sometimes on holiday - they get it! And a table in the bay window overlooking the terrace and lawn, above the cove? Yes, please! The staff were a warm, considerate presence, ready to answer questions and offer a few hints and observations, blending their professional role with the friendly ease of a well-liked neighbour. A homely lounge that comes into its own late in the evening - settle in with the sea and harbour in view, and bookshelves, and warm drinks or something from the bar to relax with. Did that. Perfect.

- Steve (10/5): Fabulous location, overlooking Coverack bay. A touch of luxury on the South West Coast path route. - Food was excellent, particularly the shucked oysters special. Staff were super helpful, trying several local taxi firms to help us travel onwards at short notice. Highly recommended.
