• Sharon (7/5): Characterful building - Characterful building close to the river. Parking available but proved tricky to access. Our room faced the inner courtyard and was noisy at night with people sitting out drinking and smoking. It was warm, and we needed to have the window open, which meant we could even smell the smoke. Room and bathroom were fairly small. Restaurant was a bit overpriced in our opinion. Access to the car park proved difficult as the panel we were supposed to present the room key to was hidden behind large bins.

• Inge (8/5): Einzigartiges Erlebnis - Die Lage war großartig, das Ambiente einzigartig. Das Hotel ist in einem alten Kloster untergebracht. Die Bausubstanz ist noch erhalten. Auch das Frückstück war sehr gut, allerdings fehlte uns eine größere Auswahl an frischem Obst, vor allem Beeren. Möglicherweise hängt dies mit den Nachhaltigkeitszielen des Hauses zusammen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer auf den Innenhof hinaus. Das war grundsätzlich gut, weil wir vom Verkehrslärm verschont waren. Allerdings fand am Samstagabend dort eine größere Feier statt, so dass der Lärm bis ins Zimmer drang und leider auch der Zigarettenrauch. Das hat uns sehr gestört. Sonst hätten wir mehr Punkte vergeben.

• Stefan (9/5): Ein historisches Hotel, mit viel Komfort und freundlichen Personal - Das Hotel liegt traumhaft neben einer Kirche im historischen Gemäuern. Es wurde mit großer Leidenschaft renoviert und bietet eine gute Lage und Komfort. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Anzumerken ist die etwas lange Wartezeit beim Abendessen, die aber durch das freundliche Personal wieder weg gemacht wurde, Unangenehm empfand ich, dass bei der Bezahlung per Kreditkarte eine Abfrage über Trinkgeld erfolgte. Eine Praxis die ein gutes Haus nicht nötig hat.

• Pedrazzoli (4/5): Zimmer unmöglich, Service schwach – nie wieder! - Positiv hervorzuheben sind lediglich das gute Essen und das reichhaltige Frühstück. Statt des gebuchten normalen Doppelzimmers erhielten wir ein Mansardenzimmer. Es war zudem extrem laut bis spät in die Nacht, was einen erholsamen Schlaf unmöglich machte.Unsere Reklamation vor Ort wurde ignoriert; das Personal war leider gar nicht zuvorkommend. Einzig der Erlass der Parkgebühren war eine kleine Geste, die den Ärger über das Zimmer und die schwierige Parksituation aber nicht ausgleichen konnte.

I booked the hotel for 2 nights using my own credit card. When I went to check in, I said I wanted to pay the entire bill with my debit card and confirmed by entering my password. Somehow, when I checked out, they charged the hotel for the entire amount. How is this possible? How can such a mistake be made? I do not recommend it.
• Andrea (8/5): Simple, tasteful, comfortabl - Gorgeous hotel: old convent attached to medieval church beautifully converted inside: modern, clean, tasteful. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice restaurant and bar, free welcome drink, coffee machine in room. I stayed in small simple room as single guest but it was very comfortable and I felt safe as a lone woman. Turn right and a 10 minute walk to center of town. Plenty of restaurants, bars, shopping. Turn left onto river and a lovely walk past public gardens, park and swimming lake. Would be nice to have milk provided in room. But I actually didn't mind remembering to pick up a jug of milk at the bar on the way in.

Restaurant und Bar sind sehr schön In dieser Preisklasse hätten wir ein anderes Frühstück erwartet. Es gab aufgebackene Brötchen, die steinhart waren, nachdem sie kalt waren. • Jörg-Martin (8/5): Akademisches Flair für Vogelfreunde an der Fulda - Füheres Kloster, dass 2017 zu einem originellen Hotel umgebaut wurde, inkl. Bar und Restaurant im Kellergewölbe und gemütliichen Sitzecken (Lift über alle Etagen inkl. Keller). Zimmer etwas klein mit schön gefliesstem Bad und Fenster zum ruhigen Innenhof. Parkplatz direkt vor dem Eingang und separate Parkebene hinterm Haus für Nachtgäste. Gute Lage direkt am Fulda-Ufer unweit des Stadt-Theaters mit Uferweg zum Karlsaue-Park. Zur Uni 20' Fussweg. Originelle Speisekarte im Restaurant (mit Einblick in die Küche), etliche vegetarisch/vegane Gerichte und sehr freundliche studentische Bedienung. Ledersessel und viele Vogelmotive auf Bildern und Tapeten. Wegen des breiten Betts hat im Zimmer kein Schreibitsch Platz, lediglich ein Hocker ist vorhanden, um am Laptop zu arbeiten. Die Deckenbeleuchtung lässt sich leider nicht unabhängig von der Bettlampe löschen und blendet beim Fernsehen. Der an sich schöne Duschkopfdroht droht aus der Wandhalterung zu rutschen. Die Gerüstbauer an der Kirchenfassade im Innenhof nahmen Rücksicht und begannen erst gegen neun Uhr zu lärmen.

Küche hat deutlich nachgelassen, ist eher teuer und geschmacklich durchschnittlich. Wirklich schade – die Küche war vor 1-2 Jahren wirklich gut.

• Nerea (10/5): Super schönes Schatzkästchen! Geheimtipp. - Das Haus hat einen wahnsinnigen Charme. Es wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail renoviert. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls toll und mit viel Sorgfalt angerichtet. Besonders gefällt mir, dass regionale Produkte im Vordergrund stehen und sogar selbst gebackenes Brot angeboten wird. Das Essen im Restaurant war ebenfalls von aussergewöhnlicher Qualität. Die offene Toilette fand ich - auch wenn es sich um ein Einzelzimmer handelte - etwas speziell. Aber ansonsten ist die Ausstattung klasse und auch in den kleinen Einzelzimmern fühlt man sich sehr gut aufgehoben.

• Sophie (9/5): A comfortable, welcoming institution, housed in an old monastery and retaining plenty of character - The staff kindly accommodated my request to check in early after a long flight. I was able to relax and have an online meeting in the spacious lounge while I waited. The hotel feels like a comfortable old Kassel institution, and hosted a dinner for about 30 guests with very good food. My small room on the top floor faced onto the busy main road which was very noisy at all hours, even with the window closed. No kettle in the room.

• Matthias (9/5): sehr sehr schön, gerne wieder - Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt! Die Atmosphäre ist wirklich schön und gemütlich, die Einrichtung stilvoll und einladend. Die Lage ist hervorragend, ideal für Entdeckungstouren in der Umgebung. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das überdurchschnittlich freundliche und zuvorkommende Personal, das uns stets aufmerksam und hilfsbereit zur Seite stand. Das Restaurant ist ebenfalls ein Highlight – das Essen war einfach ausgezeichnet. Es war definitiv nicht unser letzter Besuch – wir kommen gerne wieder!

• Marcel (9/5): Frühstück - Im großen und ganzen hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Tolles Gebäude super Lage . Das einzige was zu bemängeln ist , sind die Brötchen zum Frühstück. Das Hotel legt sehr viel Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit und dann gibt es Aufbackbrötchen , damit hätten wir nicht gerechnet. Aber schade , vielleicht kann das ja mal geändert werden und Brötchen vom Bäcker vor Ort genommen werden.
