stefano (9/5): Erice è una perla da scoprire, lentamente e con il gusto di farlo - La posizione ,relativamente centrale, del Residence in cui abbiamo pernottato. La stanza di dimensioni più che generose. La pulizia e l'accuratezza dello stesso. La possibilità di fruire del parcheggio (lontano circa cinque minuti a piedi dall'appartamento).La disponibilità telefonica dell'host. Noi, svolgendo lo stesso accoglimento dell'ospite nella nostra struttura recettiva in Sardegna, poniamo molta attenzione e cura nella gestione dell'ospite , che inizia con la relazione a distanza (telefonica e/o tramite PC), continua con il ricevimento vis a vis e con un rapporto (a seconda del caso) che è estremamente familiare. Quì, probabilmente per questioni logistiche, non abbiamo mai visto in faccia alcuno, ma non disquisiamo certamente sulle scelte altrui..

Mária (4/5): False advertisement - Location in the center and a good bed. False advertisement on booking saying there are 3 luxury rooms. In reality, there is one simple room (nothing luxury about it), then a shower with toilet (who counts it as a luxury room?) and a small additional space,more like 1/4 of a room with just a table, fridge and mini sofa. Photos on booking are made in a specific way so you are not able to see it. I will add real photos to the review. Also there is almost nothing in the apartment, less than basic.
Kevin (9/5): Highly recommended stay in Erice - Perfect, comfortable room in the center of Erice (which is just spectacular). Free parking provided by the property just outside of town is a wonderful plus. While the reservation states no breakfast is provided, there was a basket of pastries, crackers, and a 2 L bottle of water provided, all greatly appreciated. The staff is very helpful, and provides clear instructions to ensure a very stress-free stay. Nothing to dislike; every part of the stay was enjoyable. All for a very fair price.

Walter (8/5): Eine saubere, gepflegte Bleibe - Es war ein sauberes, hübsches, kleines Zimmer mit einem kleinen Nebenraum zum Tee oder Kaffee trinken. Das Bad war auch okay! Die Unterkunft liegt zentral in Erice. Von dem, dem Appartement zugehörigen Parkplatz, muss man stramm einige Meter aufwärts marschieren. Ist aber bei einigermaßen guter Konstitution in ca. 10 Minuten machbar. Leider hatten wir zwei Tage lange richtig dicke Nebelsuppe über Erice hängen, so dass eigentlich so gut wie gar nichts zu sehen war. Bei schönem Wetter ist dies bestimmt eine feine Bleibe, aber bei dickem Nebel und Kälte war es eher ungemütlich.

Dorinel (9/5): Soggiorno piacevole con qualche piccola sfida logistica - Soggiorno nel complesso positivo. La stanza era molto pulita e abbiamo apprezzato la cura nei dettagli: la presenza della macchina del caffè, l'acqua in omaggio nel minifrigo e, soprattutto, il pensiero delle merendine per la nostra bimba di 4 anni, un’attenzione davvero gradita. Erice a metà marzo può essere fresca, ma la camera era ben riscaldata grazie alle due fonti di calore presenti, che abbiamo utilizzato con piacere. - Il parcheggio è incluso ma si trova distante dalla struttura. Inoltre, non essendoci un pass per il carico/scarico bagagli vicino all'ingresso, il trasporto delle valigie tra i vicoli può risultare un po' faticoso, specialmente viaggiando con bambini piccoli. - La mancanza del bidet, sostituito da una doccetta a muro (doccia-idroscopino) da usare direttamente sul WC.

We received a lot of automated non individual messages ahead of our arrival where we were receiving instructions or requests. Despite an immediate follow up these requests kept coming. And info we already received was re-sent. We were the only guests in November and I guess that was why the host was distance managing.

Federico (7/5): - La posizione del Residence centrale. Molto belli il cortile e le aree esterne. Il servizio a pagamento del transfer dal parcheggio alla struttura poco chiaro prima di prenotare. Non c’è il bidet e non era segnalato.

Erice lag echter volledig in de wolken toen we er waren, we hebben er hele - Ruim en verzorgde locatie De opdringerige sms’jes voor aankomst. Op vakantie wil ik geen 5 lange berichten krijgen met “urgent” in rode drukletters bovenaan, dat voelde niet goed. Voor de rest prima service eens we er waren.

Linda (10/5): San Martino is a great place to stay when visiting Erice and the surrounding areas. The apartment was very comfortable, - San Martino is perfectly located within Erice. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable, spacious and quiet. Maurizio and Flavia are great hosts who provide great hospitality.
Marko (9/5): - The facilities are great and the stuff very helpful. For the ones who are coming with cars to the parking place, be carefull as the navigators take you inside of Erice which can be a nightmare to drive. In any case strongly reccomend. The breakfast is somewhat lacking but you can buy whatever you want in the pastry store which you go for breakfast.

Lee (9/5): Lovely spot to stay in heart of Erice - The location is absolutely wonderful for exploring Erice. The grounds are very pretty. We selected the executive apartment to be able to cook so it was nice having a separate sleeping room. The unit is very simply but nicely decorated and very clean. Furnishings are styled nicely. Our host was very helpful. We definitely recommend the car service to transport luggage from parking. Can’t imagine doing it ourselves as it is quite far and up a long road from parking. We really enjoyed our optional small sweet and coffee breakfast each day. We appreciated the coffee in room, snacks, small fridge and microwave. We selected the room so we could prep simple meals. There was no sharp knife to actually cut fruit or bread, only table knives, Also no spatula, small but important to make a difference to us. With the beautiful courtyard would be nice to have a few more comfortable chairs to enjoy the sun vs folding chairs and tables. Room dark unless door open for natural light.
Ulrike (8/5): - Der Gastgeber hat uns am Parkplatz unterhalb der Stadt empfangen und uns mit allem Gepäck zur Unterkunft gefahren, ebenso bei der Abreise zurück. Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert. Die Appartments sind modern eingerichtet, liegen um einen hübschen Innenhof, der sich bei schönem Wetter zum Aufenthalt eignet

Alison (10/5): Fantastic - Last minute booking, but staff was very accommodating and helpful. The parking was a huge bonus here along with the 10 euro pick up and delivery. Very friendly and helpful for our 1 night stay. The drive up to this unique town is a bit scary, but the views and tour of the town are worth it!

Serena (10/5): Atmosfera bellissima e tutti i confort. Super consigliato! - Camera e bagno grandi, con anche saletta adiacente dotata di macchina di caffè e teiera. Molto pulita e silenziosa, con corte interna curata e fruibile. Istruzioni semplici e chiare per arrivare dal parcheggio alla casa, accoglienza impeccabile. Soggiorno piacevolissimo, peccato essere rimasti solo un giorno!

Held (8/5): Tolle Unterkunft! - Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett. Den Transport vom Parkplatz zur Unterkunft empfehlen wir sehr. Die Lage ist perfekt: Mitten in der Stadt aber trotzdem schön ruhig. Die Zimmer und Bad sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Kyriakos (7/5): - The location is very good, in the heart of Erice and a lot of helpful information were provided for us for our short stay of 1 night and spending the morning after exploring the village. We had an incredibly stressful experience to enter our room. Without going into too much detail: - Too much information sent on email, booking.com app messages, whatsapp. When all this information gets sent to someone having a holiday and only staying one night, it is normal for the someone to not spend time reading anything - I had completed the online forms and provided ID details the night before our arrival. I was not contacted about these details not coming through to the host's system - We advised we will check in during the evening "after hours" (we advised arrival at 8:30pm) - In order to be let into the property and given a password to obtain our key, we were told on message that we need to complete the form, this happened during driving to the Erice village - Nobody was at the property and nobody tried to contact us to assist in carrying luggage from the parking (20 minute walk with luggage to the property). - My friend was waiting outside the property for over 30 minutes and not be let in - After being let in on our arrival, we were told on whatsapp messages that we still needed to provide IDs. No apology, no professionalism, no care for the customer - instead we were being patronised for "not reading the message" that arrived 5 minutes after we were let in the property, not before. PLEASE REMEMBER FOR NEXT TIME: THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT - Do not expect the visitor to read all your spam messages whilst on holiday. Please improve your attitude and your communication to customers, because it is a pity to have such disgusting approach to your customers, not representable of this wonderful interiors, historic and well maintained property.

Jonathan (10/5): Beautiful authentic room in centre of historic hilltop city - Beautiful authentic location at the heart of Erice. We stayed for 2 nights in order to spend a full day discovering the historic city. Mauricio was a super host and his communication was great. We were able to park our car for free in a private parking outside the city wall and for a small fee he picked us and our luggage up and brought us to the front door. The room is well equipped, with a view on a small internal courtyard and being able to step outside your front door onto the cobbled streets of the city was priceless. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here! Nothing

Natalia (10/5): - Очень чисто и все новое. Есть все необходимое. Хозяин очень приветливый. У хозяина есть бесплатная парковка с которой он нас забрал с вещами и отвёз за символическую плату. Вечером прохладно хорошо что у нас были кофты.
Joanna (9/5): - Beautifully restored apartment in the centre of Erice with private courtyard with exit onto the main pedestrian street. The host was lovely and checkin was easy. Parking (free) is a 5 min walk up hill so if you require assistance ask for the luggage service to bring your bags to the room for an extra charge. We used it as a fitness opportunity! Highly recommend.
