Julie (6/5): It was ok - Didn’t have a tv channel guide, didn’t have anything about what is around for food, shopping etc.
Brian (7/5): The key issue was a computer problem. Take that issue away and I would rate it 8-9 - Breakfast was good and rooms were clean. They had an issue with room keys not working. Staff was great about running to open your room but it was inconvenient.

karinjok (10/5): Stay here! - Stayed at this clean, modern, quiet hotel for a local event for 2 nights. Friendly check in (Lily). Reasonable rates, great location. Self parking. Short walking distance to a fantastic restaurant (Father Fats Public House) and half hour drive to George Mead State Wildlife Area(do the 7 mile loop!) 17 minutes to Knowlton House Distillery. We didn't have additional time to eat at the restaurant/bar or use the pool but those looked really nice. I'd definitely stay there again.

This has happened elsewhere to me before, and I wonder- do we need these anymore? Could alarm clocks be "available upon request"? I liked that there was a nightlight in the bathroom. There were pillow softness options!

O3240LBsallyf (10/5): Stevens Point getaway - My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. We had a great time, visiting a few nearby drinking establishments on foot, wonderful dinner at the wissota steakhouse, a nice swim before bed. Everything was clean and comfortable.

The woman at the front desk recognized me from previous visits and knew my last name without prompting. While the rooms are simple and sparingly furnished, everything is very clean and works well. The Starbucks coffee that is always brewed and available is a definite perk. They often have fresh-baked cookies, too. The complimentary breakfasts are good (not great), and always have a hot option like eggs and meat. Restaurants are within short driving distance of downtown, but most things within walking distance are closed at night and on weekends.

Rooms are very good and the restaurant is always terrific. The challenge we had was the slowness and paper based process to reserve a block of rooms and the air room for dinner. Everything is email, print, scan, return. It’s slow and annoying. When my friends called to book the room block, several thought the staff was rude at best. Upon arrival, front desk staff seemed robotic with their process and low energy. It’s a great property, location and restaurant. It could be fantastic with some employee coaching. Still going 5 stars because my unique challenges are not typical for a standard hotel stay.

I realized the hotel allowed pets, but having one at a table next to us where we were eating in a room that served breakfast in mornings, shared with the Wissota Steakhouse in the evening, was really disappointing. I do not think animals should be allowed in a room where food is being enjoyed.

joefS427SM (10/5): Very nice stay. - Overall a nice stay. Quiet and clean for a rainy weekend. Staff was always around and responsive. The breakfast staff were quiet, but very efficient! Nice places to walk to or a short drive.
Michael (6/5): - It’s an ok hotel. Not great value for the money in Stevens Point. Breakfast buffet was empty of most hot foods both times I went. Bananas were totally brown/black. Room was nice enough but nothing special. Restaurant prices are very high.

Odyssey43464284748 (6/5): Discount should be given - We want the manager to know that all the staff at Stevens point cobblestone hotel were friendly and professional. We stayed in room 203 and we’re disappointed that the black out curtain was broken. also, because that room is right above the hotel entrance, the view was blocked, and the noise at night was terrible. The hotel was full and we were not able to be in the block of rooms that the bride and groom reserved. We get that, yet we feel that room should be offered at a discounted rate, because of the noise and broken curtain. With the light and noise not much sleep was gotten ☹️

Dawn (10/5): - Beautiful hotel. Staff was so friendly and helped with making sure we could check in early Saturday after booking our Friday night stay with a different room type. Great location with good food options right next door. Would highly recommended and stay here again.
198barbr (6/5): Its the newest hotel so not trashed yet. - Had a few unfortunate experiences with Emily who works the counter. The other counter people were good. The pet grass area still doesn't have bags or disposal set up as most hotels, gas stations and parks have. Its expected at a hotel that allows pets. The beds and pillows were good. The area was quite and location was good. That they have snacks and soda for sale was never mentioned. Theres a bracket hanging off the bed that should be removed. Also the grounds need work. This is right in front of building. Weeds 3 feet high! The breakfast was average. Its expensive for what it is.

kod (10/5): Great hotel - We found the staff at the front desk very friendly and helpful over the phone and in person. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Our room was large. clean, and best of all. a comfortable bed.The ac was quiet and worked well.zth bathroom was well equipped, and the shower had good pressure. I do suggest that they carry stevia instead of nutrasweet at their coffee bar. The complimentary breakfast was very typical of other hotels in its class, nothing great , nothing bad. This was my second visit and I will be back

darknetg (2/5): Operational Disaster - Focus on the Little Things - The operations are a disaster! Staff not manning the front desk causing increased delays in helping customers. The Internet was out the entire week we were here and there was no urgency in getting it resolved. When asked for quarters for the laundry machine they didn’t have any - WTF, ridiculous. Many of the staff are wearing hotel clothes informs that are super wrinkled as if they pulled them out of the dirty hamper. The breakfast room needs some attention - why do you NOT have a small trash can for the coffee area. It’s the little things that collectively matter!
David (7/5): Just a one night stay and it fit the bill. - Breakfast was adequate, too many kids running around and making it difficult to get to the breakfast bar. Parents fault/not the hotel.

Verified traveler (2/5): Beware of sneaky fees - Lots of added unexpected fees were added to my bill. Energy efficiency, city lodging, etc. Property is listed as “pet friendly” but hotels.com did not disclose a pet fee when I booked my stay and neither did the hotel at any point during check-in or during the duration of my stay. A $52.75 fee was retroactively charged to my credit card a few days after my stay and when I called to inquire about it I was told that there is a $25 pet fee and housekeeping “found evidence of a pet.” When I attempted to contact management regarding the $52.75 charge (DOUBLE the undisclosed pet fee + tax??) management did not respond. I will not stay at a Cobblestone property again; this is my second poor experience in 2 years with this hotel chain and there are plenty of other options.

Robert (10/5): - We’ve stayed here several times and it’s always been very clean and quiet with a very friendly staff. The prices are good and it’s great that they allow pets. It’s weird, however, that there is no fan in the bathroom. The breakfast is very basic with no gluten-free options.

William (6/5): - The property was nice, but we stayed across from the boardroom and there were people in it all the time, screaming and running around. It would have likely been fine if they kept the door closed, but they had it propped open all day. I finally called the front desk around 9pm and asked them to help, which they did. It wasn't the hotel's fault that the adults in that room weren't more considerate to the other people staying at the hotel.

Heather (8/5): - This is my second time staying here and will probably stay here again when I travel to Stevens Point. It has a great location near the beautiful parks and down town area. My only complaint is that the continental breakfast was not the greatest. It started at 7am on the weekend and by the time we came down at 8 a lot of things were gone.
