• Peter (10/5): - Clean room. We had a couple of neighbors in hallway that could have been a little quieter at 6 am and at 2 am We walked to WWII museum, walked to concert at Smoothie King, and took nearby trolley to the edge of French Quarter. A great location. All staff were very helpful & friendly.
• Myi (6/5): - The location is convenient and close to public transportation, and the ambiance in the lobby is cozy and quirky. The staff were very pleasant and were able to assist us with all of our inquiries and issues. Check-out was a breeze, but we had a few bumps with check-in. I booked through a 3rd party website, and there was not an option to add other guests to the booking. Apparently in order to check in, they must be added to the reservation... and I never received that option. Despite that, they were very flexible and was able to get my group checked in. The mattresses were much more comfortable than I expected for bunk beds. Overall we enjoyed our stay and if I need a cheap place in NOLA, I would stay at The Quisby again.

• Mia (10/5): - We stayed at this hotel because we were dropping my daughter at college. This hotel was awesome all the staff and I do mean all no matter the position were friendly and personable. They made the stay great and even though it wasn't required they offered me some of the best advice and encouragement about leaving my child for the first time. Me and my sister definitely enjoyed our stay and whenever I'm back I plan on staying here!! Thank all of you again. Oh I forgot it's very clean and the only thing I'm disappointed with is we missed karaoke due to having to handle some things with my daughter...I know this was the first one but I do see it being a hit because Y'all was turnt when we left and we loved it!!
• Erin (8/5): - The staff was wonderful. Very helpful and the room was very clean. The hallway carpet could definitely be replaced. The room was very cool with a bunk bed for my son, and the street car practically comes to the front door so getting around is easy. The walls were so thin however the the people staying next to us and had an alarm set for 5:30 both morning literally vibrated my headboard until I banged on the wall as he didn't answer it for about 20 minutes the 1st day. Overall fun stay.

I had an issue with fedex and the lady working was nice enough to check the camaras and verify they never came. Late at night when we got home the gentlemen working hung out with us and let us be silly and make balloon animals. Our room was comfy cute and clean. No parking on site but free street parking was easy to find.

• Joseph (8/5): - In between it all, this was a gem to stay at located wham bam in the center of anything and everything you could want. Easy access to street cars, busses, and with free parking around the neighborhood it made for easy parking and transport. The facilities are quaint, cute, and unbothered. Quirky but not fancy one bit. It's not the most immaculate or clean place, stains on walls, in bathrooms, and dusty windows and ratty curtains are all part of the stay as well. For the value, location, and excellence of the staff I would definitely consider staying here again. Perfect for a solo traveler.

Close enough to everything to enjoy the craziness of New Orleans, but far enough out to get a good night’s sleep. No parking, but had no issues at all parking on the side street in free parking street parking.

• Amanda (8/5): Great Location, Great Breakfast, No Frills - I stayed at The Quisby before it changed froma hostel to a hotel. It's in a convenient area to access the French Quarter. The streetcar passes right in front of it. Since it was a hostel, the rooms are a little small but that didn't bother me. The service is excellent and the breakfast was really good. I was concerned about parking but I was able to do street parking a street over. Overall, a good, no frills place to stay.
• Ann-Marie (10/5): - Quirky and comfortable hotel within a 5 minute walk of the WW2 museum and 25 minute walk to the French Quarter. Quieter in the sense there are no bars nearby just some traffic noise which didn’t bother us. Simple but adequate breakfast. Friendly staff. All very good with this hotel.

• Lizzie (8/5): - Kinda got exactly what we expected for what we booked. The room was fine although a bit smelly on arrival but it passed. The aircon was a bit noisy but we got used to it. The bed was a little soft but comfy enough for a few nights. Breakfast was a little limited but we found enough to eat each day. Most of the staff were pretty friendly and chatty. The hotel was in a good location, we parked on the next door street free of charge for the duration of our stay. The walk to the French quarter was easy enough, loads of bars and restaurants nearby. There were some undesirables on the streets on the walk into town so recommend a cab after dark. Only other thing was the streetcar wasn't operational from outside which was a shame. All in all, was a perfectly fine stay :)
• Aaron (6/5): - We stayed 2 nights and found the room to be small but adequate. Coffee was good and the continental breakfast was a nice perk. A couple friends and I sat at the bar and had a frw drinks before bed - very convenient, quiet place to catch up. Unfortunately, we had folks who like to party staying across the hall from us. It sounded like they were moving furniture, and when we finally opened the door to see what was happening, they had their bed leaned up against the wall to make space for their get together at 4am. At least they shut their door at that point. The next night they were using power tools (drill/driver?) in the middle of the night. They were much quieter after the front desk spoke to them.

Has a younger, hipper vibe than most hotels but was totally fine for our family of four and the kids loved it. Staff is friendly and helpful. Street parking was pretty easy and the streetcar runs right in front of the hotel.

The staff was delightful, the decor was super cute, our room was small but nicely appointed. It was my husband's birthday. I called ahead, and I had flowers and cake delivered to the hotel to put in the room before we arrived and they took care of it and did a great presentation. The room was quiet, the blackout curtains work great, and we had everything we needed.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Best Days and Nights Ever - Ain't no party like a Quisby party! We were made to feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Clean, bright, cheery, centrally located, quiet yet vibrant. Slept very, very well and woke up happy.

It was clean and comfortable. The best part was the staff! They were friendly and made helpful recommendations. The breakfast was very good as well!

• Robin (6/5): Could've been better - Check-in was smoothe. There is no on-site parking, so we were parked on the street a half a block away. The neighborhood is on the edge of the garden district. In the morning there was a dead rat under my car. Room was comfortable - bed is VERY soft. Towels+bedding were clean and great. Shower has low pressure - but the toilet has STRONG pressure - think airplane toilet! Breakfast - get there early if you want anything. It was hit and miss and the ladies working didn't check if it was getting low. The last people were lucky to get a piece if toast. The guy working there was really helpful - he helped us figure out the streetcar system - a great saver! $6 for a whole day riding around the city! The 3rd day a woman came in to relieve the night staff smelling like she brought in a cloud of weed with her. She at least started cooking sausage and filling coffee. The other 2 girls working this week were always sitting in a dark lobby with headphones in and on phones. The first night at the end of the day all the staff, including the housekeeper were drinking at the bar. They rarely acknowledged us coming and going. Since we stayed 4 days, housekeeping didn't come to the room ever. We ran out of supplies in the bathroom and needed fresh towels. Again, the young man working was the one who helped us get what we needed. Luckily Walgreens is a few blocks away to get additional snacks. Overall, the room was nice. We had a noisy family sharing a wall whose little kids were up until 1am.
• Lee (10/5): Great Downtown Stay - First time I’ve ever written a review on here. This is a great place - safe, clean and everything new. Staff is very chill yet attentive. Better breakfast than your standard big brand hotel. Great location. Highly recommend for a downtown stay in New Orleans

• Sophie (8/5): Nice stay. - Overall it was a nice stay. The bed was very comfortable. The room did not have a dresser or a closet- there were a few hooks for clothes. The one morning there was no breakfast left at 9:30am. The floor in the room could have been swept/mopped. All happy hours at the bar were discontinued in the middle of our stay which was disappointing. Otherwise, was a very functional stay.
• Nathan (10/5): - Nice quant hotel with modern lobby. It feels right at home along St Charles Avenue. Not particularly fancy rooms but service is good and I had no problems with my stay. It was convenient to be able to walk right on to the streetcar and there's good dining options in walking distance.
• Mariana (10/5): Great Place - Amazing amenities, good location. We had only one problem with the cleaning, which we schedules but in the end they only changed the mat and towels. Overall, a really nice place.
• Colt (10/5): - The Quisby Hotel is an excellent stay right on historic St. Charles Ave in New Orleans. Great price and a very affordable nightly rate. The service is excellent and they even have a little complimentary breakfast in the morning. 10/10 would recommend staying here!

• Yang (10/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff. The bar on the first floor also serves as the front desk. The staff creates a sense of community with guests. They even have a curated local map with attractions, transportation, and dining options nearby. No on-site parking but was able to quickly find streetside parking both days. Rooms are small but very fairly priced. No room for a desk or chairs. The sink is located outside of the bathroom, in front of the bed. There is a small hanging rack for clothes and a small cabinet for storage. The bed does not have sheets like typical hotels (almost feels like a hostel or AirBnB) but is comfortable and seemed clean nonetheless. Very much enjoyed my stay here!

There is no onsite parking they only had street parking on the other side of Popeyes Chicken, no closet to hang your clothes and the TV is a smart TV, but no regular channels you have to use your own personal account to make the TV work.
• Steven M (10/5): - The staff is friendly and the room was small, but perfect for our needs. The bar is open 24/7 and has a great happy hour. It is close to public transportation and a good long, but doable walk to the quarter. I would return without a second thought.
• Justin (8/5): - Property itself is great, threw us off when we had to be buzzed in from the outside, but was quickly fixed. Had our keys become unprogrammed twice during the stay but quickly fixed. Also had an issue with our fridge that appeared to either be a leak or an issue with the door seal, potentially could have been noticed before we got in by whoever was flipping/turning the room. Bathroom had some grout discoloration, but nothing that made it feel like it hadn't been cleaned, just had the appearance of being not as clean as it could be (if that makes sense).
