Guest Reviews
- Trilok (9/5): Better than average - Location and facilities Worn out items
- John Campen (7/5): room was good, clean and comfortable. Just wifi and breakfast need improvement - Only veg and not many option for someone with low tolerance to curry. Location was good and rooms clean and confortable Wife login requires Indai mobile number and not sutiable for international travlers. I had to get the staff to use there mobile to get a code to register the wifi. Also requires new login code evry day. Thi si outdated system for hotel wifi login.

- Yoga Parameshwari (6/5): - The food at the restaurant was good and the staff and servers were very kind and friendly. Especially a waiter ( Sultan) was good with suggestion and customization. Soups and sizzlers are the best. Multiple contact number for each service. The front desk were very cold. The Lady( Sonam Jadhav) forgot to include laundry bills and upon asking she billed it but on different room. She did not provide relevant bill at all.
- kseniia (10/5): - Хороший отель, немного старенький, но вполне хороший. Персонал дружелюбный.

- amitkumarj2025 (2/5): Worst family stay experience in this hotel - It sounds like we had a very frustrating experience at the hotel. Here is a summary of the issues you faced recently :
Upon arrival at 11.00 PM , the bedding was not done provided for extra bed for which we have paid the charges , and despite the hotel advertising 24-hour service, no one answered the phone when we called.
The next morning, we left for Siddhivinayak Mandir at 8:00 AM, expecting to return in an hour. Due to the rush at the temple and on the roads, we returned around 11:00 AM. Despite notifying the hotel about the delay at 10:30 AM, hotel bluntly refused to provide complimentary breakfast, even though we had accompanied by 2 small kids .
When my kids wanted to eat something, we found some wafers and chocolates in the room. The room service person confirmed that these were complimentary as no tag was placed for notifying as chargeable or free. That query we have raised to Hotel service person who visited at room and he confirmed that it was free of cost. However, at checkout, the hotel claimed extra charges for these items and even room service person denied confirming that the items were complimentary in front of the hotel management. We requested the hotel team to check the video footage, but the situation led to a heated discussion, spoiling your entire day in Mumbai and leaving your family feeling humiliated by the hotel staff.
Through this message, we want to spread awareness about the hotel's poor service and the unpleasant experience that spoiled my family tour to Mumbai
- Ppb1982 (4/5): Disappointing - AC cooling was perfect Property is a very old property far away from the main city . Maintained but not very well.
Washroom had foul smell,
High prices compared to the quality of the property
- Puneet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Srinivasa (6/5): Pleasant -
- Pratima (9/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this hotel for value for money. - We are not keen on buffet breakfast as sometimes items are not as warm/hot as we like. We used order from live counter and it was very nice Buffet breakfast- some of the items were bit on the cold side
- Magan (7/5): Good -
- Jigar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pierre (8/5): Very good -
- Abhinav (5/5): Avoid this hotel if you can, there are way better options at this price. - Nothing in my opinion. The staff have no sense of hospitality or a good attitude to service. Rooms are small and lack freshness from cleaning.
Very poor quality of breakfast and the breakfast service. Hardly any options to choose from, poor quality of fruits.
- Johann (3/5): Poor - Nothing Everything, staff had 0 etiquette, defined amenities in the room were missing (no blow dryer, bath robes, clothes iron, fridge/mini bar, bathroom mirror without lighting, missing clothes hooks in washroom) . Wifi was limited to 15min followed by paid service.
No bell boy to help with luggage, no guidance for car parking. Very dull attitude of hotel staff.
Room cost was over priced for services rendered.
- Surana (8/5): Very good - Marriage
- Trilok (9/5): Should be more clean and maintain - Centralised for me Not much maintained
- Muzaffer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Narayanaswamy (9/5): Superb -
- Manna (4/5): Disappointing -
- Chavan (5/5): Passable -
- Chavan (1/5): Bad -
- Kasper (6/5): Pleasant - Hot water, nice beds, big lobby Limited restaurant opening hours, location - there's really nothing near-by, kids playing area was old and worn-out
- Sean (6/5): Pleasant - The staff were extremely helpful. It's an ageing hotel that needs a freshen up. Bad smells in the corridor and only veg meals.
- Arun (8/5): Very good -
- Azmul (8/5): Great stay. Friendly staff. Very accommodating. Cleanliness was above avg. Amazing spa treatments. - The breakfast was great for the first few days. Premises was clean and food tasty. However, the menu needs a bit of elevation. Everyday same or similar options were offered and after a few days, it seems a bit monotonous. Our stay was for 2 weeks, and we often opted to miss breakfast.
It would be great if more international breakfasts options were added to the menu for variety. Room service options. Hardly anything on the menu was available when we tried to order the food.
- Mukul (9/5): Superb - Simple, clean, comfortable.
- Sandya-and-Erik (2/5): Mediocre place, worsened by malicious reception staff - The 2nd time we stayed there; the first time was just after opening in 2018, and some of the shortcomings looked like teething pains. Now however most of the shortcomings, like the disorganised (but lovely and big) pool and chaotic WiFi connection and instructions, look structural. Too bad for the hotel, it’s maybe a decent 2 to 3 star place with a location (close to the city expressway) that is useful for some visits. Can’t judge the breakfast as we stayed only half a day. Spacious rooms and good bathroom.
We booked last-minute over a bad WiFi connection @Agoda, and at the end noticed that by mistake, not clear whose, we had booked and paid for 2 nights not 1. Seemed easy enough to fix, so we told immediately upon check-in one hour later. Answer of the reception ‘sorry we cannot change, this was a nonrefundable rate, you need to contact Agoda.’
Which we did after returning home. Agoda was helpful, said that ‘It could also be a mistake on their booking website, we will contact the hotel, if they allow the correction we will refund 1 night’. Shortly thereafter sadly they came back with ‘the hotel said it was nonrefundable, unless you have legal proof that Agoda site was wrong no refund sir & madam’.
Don’t tell me that the reception when we complained did NOT know that it was with them, not Agoda, that the decision lies. So next to stealing our undeserved money they deliberately lied to us upon check-in to avoid a discussion on the spot.
No guessing whether we’ll ever stay again there on our next Chembur visits...
- Kanneganti (10/5): - Everything was good but the the staff are little slow to respond

I have called them regarding my booking three times but I didnt got proper response from them and I have complain them about this too!!
Overall hotel was good but service was too bad..
Will be never visiting again here in my lifetime and will be also telling others not to visit!
- Nrusingh (2/5): - Room was terrible. Sewer smell inside the room. WiFi was terrible
- Kristaps (5/5): Dirty, expensive hotel. Not worth! Don't recommend - Large rooms Hotel is dirty!!! It is feeling, that somebody has lived in your room - dirt is everywhere- on floor, in toilet, in bathroom. Hotel cost quite a lot money especially for India and it isn't good. Don't recommend!
- Rukhsana (8/5): Very good -
- Rahul (6/5): Pleasant -
- Mathew (6/5): Generally Good but the Management needs to be more flexible for late check out option. - Room was good Hotel did not allow us for a late check out. We requested to stay up to 4 PM on the last day of our stay instead of 1 PM as our flight was at 7 PM but the hotel stated that they will charge us a half day charge for late check-out.
Internationally, most of the hotels allow late check out free of charge.
Outside the hotel on the roadside, there is a public garbage collection station which makes walking along the street difficult

- Shalimaar (4/5): Unprofessional attitude of Mr.Vivek Chimboli at club emerald in chembur - The person at the reception at night Mr. Vivek Chimboli was most unprofessional, rude , discourteous and bad mannered.
There was no water in our washroom due to air block on 3 Rd August morning at 4.45 am .
When we called at the reception no body picked up our call and we waited patiently till it was picked up by Mr. Vivek Chimboli after 15 rings where he spoke in a sleepy voice and said Its not my job to check and I will ask the maintenance staff who arrived after a while. We had to call him multiple times as we were not given forks and spoons in our packed breakfast of fruits to which he replied irritably that the restaurant is closed and he cannot do anything.
We were not given tea cups also to which he replied it's not my job to see to all this.
For every trouble we faced he replied in a very impolite manner.
On telling him this is not how you speak to a guest he told us to go write it all in the feedback.
We complained about all this to Mr Sayed who is the manager.he assured us that he had taken mr Vivek to task. But today again when we returned at night the same discourteous attitude was faced by us from Mr. Vivek Chimboli.
Such people who think customers are at their mercy and that he can write off anyone is not fit to be in the hospitality industry.
If required I can post the text messages exchanged by me with Mr Sayed on the hotel cell number. I hope this is taken seriously and steps taken against such people.

I stayed with my family members. At the time of check out i paid completely and i am having all receipts and bank statements for the same . 2 of my family members stayed for another day and i paid for them as well in advance but the hotel management charged twice to them and it was very odd hours so they couldn’t connect with me i wrote so many mails and called them many times , they agreed it on phone that they ll check it and refund the amount, its beed more than 6 months but i havnt received any call or message from the hotel management
- sri18 (8/5): Nice Stay - There being a family wedding in Chembur in May, we had booked a Suite and 3 deluxe rooms at Club Emerald, located in Chembur for two nights.
We had done the bookings in advance and on the day of check in, the staff were courteous and soon we were ushered into our suites (the deluxe rooms booked by us were also upgraded to Suite…a nice gesture). Thanks for the same. It was quite spacious having a large bedroom as well as sitting room with sofa cum bed. The rooms were clean and well maintained and the beds were soft and comfortable. A special thanks to Akash at the Front desk who had been very helpful throughout the booking process as well as during our stay. All the other staff were also very courteous, helpful and efficient.
We only partook of breakfast on the last morning before check out. The food was basic and quite limited but made for a decent repast. I believe a few more items added to the menu would have elevated the Club.
Overall, a nice experience.
- AanchalS6 (2/5): Worst experience ever - It was worst experience ever. Nothing seemed to work right from the moment I reached the hotel. And I paid 7000 for this terrible night. As I reached the hotel, no one offered to help me with my bags. No one offered me to show my room. As I moved towards the elevator, I spot a big fat rat near the passage which was going towards the hotel restaurant. It was 9:45 in the night, and I had prepaid the tariff, so I had no option but to stay. I also brought it to attention of the staff at the reception, but he said 'baarish mein kabhi kabhi aa jate hain'. He seemed completely unsurprised about the rat being there. As if it is a regular occurrence.
Then when I reached my room, it was dirty beyond my worst nightmare. Seemed like the rooms have never been clean. I asked for another room and it was even worse, it had spit stains on the wall!!! And then they showed me another room which was slightly okay and I was tired as it was 10:30 by that time that I said yes.
Another point to keep in mind is overcharging the rooms in pretext of having heavy demand and hotel being sold out, while I only saw 3 vacant rooms!!!
Morning was no good either. For breakfast there were not any decent option. They had sambhar and chutney, but no south Indian. When I asked for it they asked me to put it in poha and eat. I asked for some dosa or eggs to be prepared but they told me that the kitchen was closed. At 8:30 in the morning. Again reminding that I paid 7000 for this stay!!!
While checking out again when I asked for help with my bags, the answer was 'Aapko help chahiye?' That's when my driver came to help me.
I feel completely cheated off my money and I highly recommend to steer away from this hotel
- 715osamam (8/5): My 4 day experience in club emerald - It was a good experience staying for 4 days in the emerald club room. The receptionists were very supportive, understood good English and were very helpful and cooperative, especialy Mr. Sandeep. He made my travel journey way easier.
The restaurant was clean, the food was delicious even though its only vegetarian resturant.
Things that I noticed that need improvement are the laundary as sometimes the blanket came is not as clean as I would expect from a high level hotel and the wifi was not stable and was interrupted many times for hours.
Otherwise, it was a good stay with them.
- 820diag (8/5): Pleasant stay in Mumbai - Comfortable, clean room with good amenities. Housekeeping was responsive. The service at the front desk could be slow at times. The location was central, but there are not many attractions/things to do in the immediate area; it is not particularly close to the tourist centre of the city.
- ChevyChaseM (10/5): Very nice stay, over two months - Club Emerald is an excellent option for a stay in Mumbai, especially if one is considering staying in a very broad area that includes Chembur.
Physically, the Club is a multi-level facility that has club facilities, rooms for the public and a restaurant.
The rooms were very nice and comfortable, as was the bed. The house keeping was very good. Club Emerald was amply staffed and the staff were most helpful. The front desk was staffed at all hours. They offer personal laundry and other services, including for example arranging for a car to pick me up at the airport when I arrived
The restaurant was excellent. I ate breakfast every day and at times ate dinner there. Both the food and the service were positive aspects of my stay.
It was easy to get transportation from the Club and I readily directed drivers to it.
I stayed at Club Emerald for two months, from late May to late July of 2019, and certainly would not have stayed there for so long if it had not been a very welcoming and pleasant place.
I would highly recommend Club Emerald for a comfortable stay in Mumbai.
- travelbuddiesforlife (8/5): Nice hotel with a decent location with all amenities..but chargeable - This is basically a club for members which has add some rooms to its catalogue..other than the pool, all other amenities such as gym, squash, etc are chargeable..it has a pure veg restaurant which services a large variety of items..housekeeping was a bit lagging..people could smile a little more..breakfast spread was almost similar for a week..since this is a pure veg hotel, even egg was not in d mrng which was a dissapointment..
- globeamit (6/5): Good experience - Nice place....decent food.... pleasent ambience...it was a good evening... family function...but had a chance to look at the club facilities and found it to be adequately good for sports as well as entertainment....
- Curiosity673275 (10/5): Best Hotel - One of the best hotel in Mumbai for staying with family. It includes swimmingpool, tennis court, gym, indoor games, etc. Pure vegetarian hotel. Food is also good. It has deluxe as well as suit rooms, both are clean and spacious.
- NandanRao (10/5): Excellent stay in Mumbai (Chembur) - Club Emerald is one of the lesser known yet excellent options for stay in Mumbai. Chembur, although being far away for travelers, is a very good option due to the expressway that connects to Colaba.
This is basically a professional club that rents out the rooms for public as well. It has all the amenities that a club usually has including a swimming pool, restaurants and indoor games.
The rooms however are above expectations, they are tastefully done, and we were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a suite. The suite room was spacious with a small living quarter and a bed room, the bed was comfortable and the toiletries were adequate. The house keeping was good, and would oblige our every request.
The restaurant was indeed one of the highlights. The breakfast spread was excellent with a combination of south India, Maharashtra and continental spread. The taste was very good and the live counter added to the options. We also had dinner on 2 days and the chef knows his job. Our special instructions for the kid's food were followed diligently.
I would highly recommend Club Emerald for a comfortable stay in Mumbai
- 634vln (10/5): Productive time - On 18th Mar, as a member, I took my 4 business associates to the club for a meeting .
We were there from 4 to 9.30PM
We had a registration process to be done .
We did this with comfort and convenience.
Thank you Club Emrald
- Venu1551 (6/5): Poor Service. - We visited the restaurant at the invitation of a member. The dining hall was very warm since the AC was not cooling. We shifted outdoors under the fan. The table service is horrible. The staff were busy with their own routine not bothered about the guests. The manager seemed to be unconcerned about the service levels.
- jayaram87 (8/5): Decent place to stay in chembur - Club emerald is in the suburb of chembur which is not close to the business districts. However, it’s easily accessible and also relatively cheaper than other hotels in Mumbai. The breakfast was not extraordinary, but decent and the room very convenient and value for money. I will certainly recommend this place as the room sizes are fairly large . Actually this hotel appears to be a popular wedding venue and most people who stay at the hotel are wedding attendees.
- ericvonleaderhosens (10/5): very comfortable - stayed here 2 nights. all very good. gym and pool excellent, breakfast fresh hand made Indian and continental veg, for me a bacon brekky man the veg menu was very nice indeed. The staff are very attentive and obviously well trained..... beds are very comfy too
- Mitin_K_Kumar (8/5): A perfect family stay... - I highly recommend this property for a star-rated stay at a very affordable price point in Mumbai - something of a rarity. This is actually a club complete with a big clean pool, superb kids area, gym etc. The restaurant is pure veg but serves amazing food. And the location is bang in the middle of Chembur hustle bustle. What else does one need :)
A serious suggestion though - improvement in the attitude of reception staff. While some are extremely helpful, few are outright arrogant. Plus, nobody seems to be monitoring their reservation email address.
- 249ravis (10/5): Good budget hotel - It was a nice stay here, greeted by courteous staff and upgraded to suite room, wow!. So awesome start. Rooms are not that great but nice and clean. The gym also has various club activities like gym, spa, lawn tennis, basketball, etc. It is mainly for members but are also accessible to hotel guests at nominal guests. They serve only vegetarian food (this is the only drawback, however you can order from outside), but their veg food is also very good. Overall a very nice stay.
- sarthakj2018 (6/5): Decent - Good and comfortable beds. I did not enjoy the property as much since I was out the whole day however the little that I saw of the property was good. the staff were cordial and the service was not bad.
