- Yolandef5195 (5/5): Disappointing - The kitchen was modern and livingroom spacious Check in was an hour late having to stand and wait in parking area after rushing to be there a specific time for check in and then having to watch hostess preparing the welcoming basket?!
The apartment requires serious TLC.
Room and bathroom door handles cannot close properly. In need of serious deep clean. After complaining they did come to clean,however all that was dirty was STILL dirty afterwards. Blinds in room are broken and unable to open
Lovely balcony,however not comfortable enjoying a braai with Spur guests watching right next to you...

- Loline (7/5): The security guards in the parkinglot was very loud during the night - No breakfast included Dirty windows and broken blinds in the bedroom spoiled to view.
No dstv. We found it very dissapointing.
The handshower in the main bedroom leaked. I had to use the towels to dry the floor

- Francien (10/5): Excellent location, great view, and comfortable stay for a family of 4 to 6 people. - Hostess Charissa was super friendly and met us on time. She made sure that all was in order and clean at the property. She also treated us with some snacks and a bottle of wine. She explained the entry and exit as well as check out, and made sure we were comfortable. There was nothing that we didn't like!

- Jean (4/5): Disappointing - The view The unit is in an extremely noisy location with the restaurants music. Even the Sunday at 08h10 music started playing from the shopping centre. Furniture dirty and delapidated. TV remotes don't work properly . Little to none Mnet channels. Unit extremely cold with no heater provided. Gas braai was left in living room. Refrigerator making a hell of a noise hours at a time. Restaurants noisy. Parking lot noisy. No hot water for a bath. Place felt overall dirty although I saw the cleaning lady with my own eyes. Was accused by host's that we left marks on linnen and will have to pay if it couldn't be removed. Very surprising as the linen in question was in the bedroom we did not use at all. Was then told by host sorry they made a mistake the marks were left by previous guests which I found disturbing as this means we all slept on dirty linnen. One of the worst units I stayed at in cape town.

- Neuper (5/5): Seaside Village B24 - The convenience of the location. The security and the clean complex. The beds are old now, the lounge suite is in a drastic need of a clean. The lamps are mismatched and broken. The stove needs a look at, it doesn't warm up for ages. The blinds are broken, and in need of replacement.
The WiFi wasn't working until the next day after checking.
- Michael (1/5): "Under construction", don't stay there! - Extremly annoying construction works at the apartment below (according to the residents since October already). Every day full of noises from drill to chain. Pics are of the apt underneath.
Refund was in discussion but nothing happened.
Apartment in general bad state: curtains not working, window broken, no working coffee maker.
Overall der worst 4 nights of our 16 in SA.
- Kaveer (7/5): Awesome property with miserable property management hosts - The location was amazing, the welcome goodies were lovely, but most of all if it were not for Chané an employee at hte property management company CTHA, which runs the place - who was extremely professional and helpful, I would probably have rated the property a four, due to the experience explained below. Well, we were bitten to death by fleas, bed bugs or as the property management company claimed, sand lice. Despite sending their people to spray the room (or do whatever they did behind a closed door), CTHA refused to change the linen unless we paid for a linen change. Needless to say, their intervention did not solve the bug problem and after complaining and rationalising the situation, they finally did change the linen two days later. During two bookings (I renewed) and paying two expensive cleaning fees, its clear that CTHA as a management company really manages expenses, and it genuinely seemed like servicing the apartment even after an insect infestation, was a major issue. But, as mentioned above, one of their employees Chané was truly wonderful and helpful.

But, overall, it was a good experience.

Load shedding is a painful reality that we deal with in SA, maybe just a suggestion to add emergency lights that goes on as the power goes off as you do not always have access to a light immediately😉
