• Ludovic (7/5): très bon séjour et propriétaire très sympa, mais le petit déjeuner est décevant - petit déjeuner assez complet mais avec des produits d'entrée de gamme conforme à un hôtel 1 étoile en France, très inférieurs aux standards français d'un 2 ou 3 étoiles, par exemple pas de jus d'orange 100% fruit mais une boisson à base de poudre saveur orange, pain de mie industriel à la place de vrais pains de boulangerie, pas de fruits frais (au pays des figues et de la vigne !), pas d'expresso mais un café type américano ou café allemand certes convenable. le petit déjeuner

Hatte für uns vom Flughafen einen privaten Transfer mit Taxi und Boot organisiert, nachdem wir festgestellt hatten, dass die Fähre zur Insel erst in den Abendstunden die Insel anfahren sollte. Unterkunft und Bewirtung waren sehr ansprechend.

Han bröt mitt finger. Jag fick fly till ett annat hotell. Fruktansvärt ställe. Ohyra. Otrevliga människor. Hotfulla. Skriker.

• Luigi (8/5): Esperienza da ripetere! - Ottima posizione, a due passi dal lungomare e lungo la strada per la spiaggia di Šunj (nei pressi dell’hotel partono tra l’altro i mini taxi dell’isola al costo di 3€ a persona). Colazione abbondante, la piscina un plus notevole a disposizione di tutti gli ospiti. Il proprietario davvero gentilissimo e disponibile! Considerati i costi elevati dell’isola, forse avere in camera un angolo cottura sarebbe stato il top!

• Annette (8/5): A lovely relaxing holiday in an idyllic location - The room was very spacious and looked like the pictures on booking.com. We had a nice sea view from the window, although not directly overlooking the sea (it is a 10-minute walk from the harbour up a narrow road to get to the property). The pool was small but very good for cooling off and relaxing under an umbrella on a hot day. The host (and family) was very friendly and chatty :-). The rooms were cleaned every day. The host arranged for taxi pick-up at the airport, transfer to the small harbour opposite the island, and speedboat transfer to the island. It was pricey but worth the experience! (we took the normal ferry to Dubrovnik port and from there the airport bus back to the airport for a fraction of the price). We were aware that we needed to pay cash on arrival but it would be safer for visitors to be able to pay by card. The room safe didn't work, and although the island is small and safe, we didn't feel entirely comfortable leaving cards and money just in the room. There was nowhere to hang towels and clothes on the balcony to dry. A welcome bottle of water would have been nice after the fairly lengthy walk uphill to the property on arrival. There was no kettle in the room which would be normal for 4-star accommodation.

• James (6/5): Skip Lopud and go to Sudurad. The Hotel Bozica more than made up for the discomfort on Lopud. - The pool and the price. The person who greeted me (Mary) was quite nice and inviting. I did not see in my booking that they accept cash only for payment of the room. The elder gentleman was quite insistent about being paid in cash on the first morning of a two day stay. I offered to pay for the night that I had just stayed (had that amount of cash on me) and move on. He made it clear that I owed him for two nights. Made things a bit uncomfortable. I went to the ATM at the western waterfront and met his demand.

• Fatima (9/5): Really nice place - The staff was really nice, the location was perfect, you need to walk just 10 minutes to find the main area, with markets and beaches, and in the other direction, maybe walk 20 minutes to find a really nice beach. In addition, the pool was perfect, and most of the time there were few people, so I was able to enjoy it alone for a long time and it was perfect. Maybe the breakfast could be better, with more fruit, croissants and options.

The pool was also lovely. Transfer both ways between Dubrovnik airport and the hotel was arranged by the owner and was superbly organised. Nothing!

• Kay (5/5): Not the best in Lopud - The rooms are furnished well and there’s a balcony with a nice view. Good shower. No water in the fridge at arrival which would have been a nice gesture. Location is right next to the Island Highway, the golf carts to the sandy beach.so it’s noisy. Breakfast is full of plastic packages and not great. Fridge turns off with the central electricity so everything in the fridge rots. The pool is a joke. There are many nicer places in Lopud which is a lovely island. Restaurant Obala is highly recommended.

• Sharon (10/5): Definitely stay here - We loved our two night stay at ‘The White House’. It is a perfect location for a short walk down to the harbour restaurants. It is also beside the ‘taxi rank’ for a golf buggy to take you to Sunj beach or anywhere on the island. The rooms are lovely, air conditioned and well spacious. Lovely wee breakfast in the morning. The pool on site was also spotless and well appreciated in the hot sun. Would definitely stay here again, thank you 😊 N/a
