The administrator was chatting with another guest about nothing important while we waited for 15 minutes. After a long trip, we were already tired, so I found that quite rude.

- Joelle (9/5): Great stay! - Really liked the location of it. No traffic at all times, close walk to the funko store and hollywood in general and close to the freeway. Really nice hotel too. Pool was heated so we were able to take advantage of it. Liked the valet service mostly. Valet service a bit wonky. Sent a text for the car and they asked for my ticket number instead at the kiosk outside cause it was taking a bit. Valet finally responded to my text around 15 minutes later while I was on the road that they'll bring my car up front. Other times it was smoother tho.
- Hope (6/5): Overall decent stay. The hotel rooms are tired but communal areas are nice - The best part of the stay with the communal area. Working in this area was lovely and great lighting! Rooms were quite dated and everything looked really tired. I was actually quite confused why this was rated a 4 star hotel.

- Sarah (9/5): Perfect and luxurious stay while visiting family in the area! - We were on the 16th floor and the view was breathtaking. The beds were super comfortable with really nice linens. Everything was great. We also really enjoyed the drinks social in the Lobby. They served a delicious cocktail, wine and an appetizer for free. The pool is a bit smaller than what it looks like in the photos but it was heated and wonderful to swim in. Can't think of anything.

- John (9/5): Great cozy hotel not far from local attractions by car. - Lobby lounge/bar area was spacious and comfortable. Bartenders and waitstaff were very friendly. Liked pool table option in lobby lounge and wine hour. Bathroom and shower size was comfortable. Breakfast restaurant was excellent on ground level. Highly recommended. Hot water pot provided on request for tea was nice convenience for my wife. Jacket closet by room entry was spacious. Valet overnight parking is pricey at $70 per day. I obtained a parking space from Spothero but the distance walked at night may be uncomfortable for most family travelers but the savings was significant if you are staying multiple days. Hotel is located in a remote two block area, and if you park your car overnight across the street, I noticed vehicles with broken glass and car windows if you park further away from the hotel.

- Garrett (7/5): Nice Views; Surprise Costs - The view was most excellent, and it was close to all of the things that I wanted to see during my little staycation. The restaurant food was very good and I enjoyed the free glass of wine before bed. I was told that parking was free and on-site. This was not the case, they only had Valet parking at $70 per day, which was a rude surprise for me. In addition, the "free-breakfast" was a credit towards their restaurant, which ended up fine but it was easy to go over. It was also not stated that they take a $300 deposit at check in. We had asked through booking.com for a crib for our room which they said wouldn't be an issue. We mentioned it at check in and they said that it was all ready. We never did get the crib.

- Philip (9/5): Lovely trip, first time in Los Angeles, hotel was fab, bed was very comfortable, we had a great time - Lovely spacious room with a great view of the Hollywood sign, the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The shower is super powerful, like 'leaning into a rain storm' sort of power. lol! No tea or coffee in the room, although there is free tea or coffee in the reception, it just means having to get up early in pjs and stroll down to pick it up.

It was rather expensive for me as I am Australian and so the conversion rate was high. I would have liked a pod coffee machine as have had that offered in all hotels on my 7 week holiday. I did notice that you could have had a drip coffee organised for the room.

- Jose Leonardo (5/5): Expected more for the price - Breakfast was very nice, the waiters at the restaurant went above and beyond. Location, we were very close to the hollywood walk of fame, and many other attractions, it felt also very safe. Unfortunately, we didn’t have the best experience during our stay here. To start, we booked the hotel through Booking, and it said that breakfast was included. Naturally, you assume that means it’s fully covered, but that wasn’t the case. They only cover a specific amount per day ($50 total, not per person). This really should be clearly stated on Booking so guests know what to expect. The room itself was nice, but for the price, the decor felt very simple. It also felt like some basic things were missing, like towel holders, which made it a bit inconvenient. We stayed for three nights. On our first day, we left the hotel around 10 a.m. for sightseeing and came back around 10 p.m., only to find that our room hadn’t been cleaned at all. We didn’t leave any “do not disturb” sign, and they didn’t even change the towels. I went to the front desk to ask what happened and to request clean towels and trash pickup. The woman at the front desk was very arrogant and dismissive. She said, in an ironic tone, that “these things happen” and that next time we should go to the front desk and tell them we’re leaving so it doesn’t happen again. That response was really disappointing. We weren’t asking for much — just clean towels for my parents and the trash taken out. I went back to the room, waited, and no one ever came. I eventually gave up because I didn’t want to create more issues, but it definitely felt like she didn’t care to help. The next morning, I spoke with the manager, and he was much more considerate. He apologized for what happened and gave us additional breakfast credit, which we appreciated. Overall, the hotel has potential, but better communication, clearer policies, and more consistent customer service would really improve the experience.

Aunque aceptan mascotas gratis, no ofrecen ningún detalle para ellas, algo que deberían mejorar si se consideran pet-friendly. Por la noche, la zona es bastante oscura y con poca gente, lo que puede generar sensación de inseguridad.

- harleyl2026 (10/5): excellent hidden gem in hollywood - i checked in here for nye and i was pleased to see how close it was to so many attractions and the red line train station. from the time i walked in, the property was exceptionally clean and the staff was very warm and hospitable. my room was clean, well decorated and for it to be so close to the 101, i heard absolutely no traffic passing by. the bathroom was beautiful and the water pressure and temperature were perfect. there were a few small issues that i discovered in the room, like a few stains on the couch and the door to the mini fridge having difficulty staying closed which i reported. since it was raining i didn’t have the chance to use the pool although it was heated which is a great touch. the views of the city and the hollywood sign was a wonderful touch as well. i would say where this property shines, is its staff. i went to the bar to try the frozen martini that’s included in the daily amenity fee. i was quickly greeted by val, our bartender. she was incredibly personable, knowledgeable and kind. to no fault of her own, i found the frozen martini to be too strong for me. it was beautifully made and was very aromatic but one sip had me feeling like lahey from trailer park boys. perhaps for someone with a more sophisticated palate it would have been enjoyable but i wasn’t a huge fan and ended up ordering a glass of cava. as a semi-retired bartender myself, the frozen martini seems quite time consuming for it to be the drink included with the amenity fee. speaking from my own experience on the other side of the bar, i could see it being difficult to quickly make when 10 guests show up to redeem it at the same time. my suggestion to management would be to change the drink that is included in the daily amenity fee. maybe a margarita, french 75 or a glass of house wine would suffice. overall, i enjoyed my stay at this property and will absolutely come back for future visits!

Not only did he make me feel at home here at the Everly but he also made the area feel like home too. Anthony gave me a detailed rundown of the best places to be at and when to be there. Then he even went the extra mile by writing down the 10 best restaurants, the best shopping locations, and even some places night life areas. Thank you Anthony for making this trip a success. I hope to see you the next time I come back to Everly!!!

- jujusm0m (10/5): The most wonderful hotel in Hollywood - I love IHG so much but in particular the Kimpton brand - the Everly is the only place I’ll stay in Hollywood and is particularly awesome when you’re going to a show at the Hollywood bowl. The desk greets you with a smile and there’s hosted champagne every afternoon. The rooms are super chic, the café serves the perfect latte and you can even borrow a bike to ride the Hollywood walk of stars. Shout out to Shu Anthony and the entire front desk staff!

The location was okay, I guess all of hollywood is pretty trashy regardless of location. The high price of valets. I don't know why when I was given a receipt the amount was 409 when my booking price was 259. I eventually parked somewhere else less expensive.

- Leslie (10/5): A return visit to this wonderful hotel, with a great vibe, and super-friendly staff - We love this hotel and return to it regularly. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the staff are wonderful, and the Jane Q restaurant offers delicious breakfast options. Harry, Dee, Gina and Alan are wonderful servers. Naomi is the most welcoming manager you could ever imagine, serving drinks and cranberry punch (her own recipe) for social hour! We feel very welcome in this hotel and love the vibe in the lobby. The overnight charge for one's car is very expensive, at $65 plus tax per night. The friendly valet team is, however, always ready to deliver your car promptly. The cost for parking is my only complaint.

We love the vibe in the lobby, breakfast at Jane Q, and the spacious room with an amazing view and super comfortable couch. The staff are wonderful as well. A shout-out to Gina, a friendly and efficient server in the restaurant and Naomi, the wonderful manager who serves an incredible, festive cranberry punch during social hour (her own recipe) and made us feel so welcome as guests of the hotel.
- tuataraTaupo_NZ (8/5): Convenient Hollywood Location - We stayed at the Kimpton Everly for 3 nights while in LA before going on a cruise. The room was very clean and comfortable, nice bathroom and a great view of the Hollywood sign. The location was great for walking down the walk of fame. Also a short Uber ride to Universal Studios. Had dinner in the restaurant one night and the service was good. We did find it unusual that the rooms did not have coffee/tea making facilities although these could be requested. Coffee was also available in the lobby in the mornings. Others have mentioned a welcome drink, which we were not offered, not sure if this requires some sort of membership but would have been nice after a very long flight. We did think the resort fees were a bit steep and didn’t include any bottled water. We found a Trader Joe’s supermarket and bought bottles of water for .17 cents so stocked our fridge with water and other drinks.
