The bungalows are clean, spacious, and surrounded by lush greenery, giving the perfect island vibe 🌴☀️. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay seamless and relaxing. The location is quiet yet just a short ride from the beach and local restaurants. Waking up to the serene surroundings was pure bliss. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful and charming stay in Koh Lanta!

• Danny 675 (10/5): - The bed is super comfy! There's a great Greek restaurant nearby, and it's only a 3-minute walk to the beach. Just ignore Google Maps, it's actually a little longer than it says. The path is right next to the Lemonade Boutique.
• Klaus (10/5): Ruhige Zimmer relativ gut gelegen - Das Resort ist 2-3 Kilometer von Sala Dan und der Walking Street entfernt. Man findet zu Fuß viele Streetfood Restaurants und sogar im El Greco gibt es ein griechisches, gut besuchtes Restaurant mit Top Bewertungen. Griechisch ist nicht unbedingt unsere Lieblingsküche und wir haben es nicht selbst getestet. Die Zimmer sind groß genug, weit von der Straße entfernt und verfügen über Klimaanlage und Kühlschrank. Der schöne Klong Dao Strand ist weniger 100m entfernt. Ebenso weit entfernt ist 711. Der Zimmerservice kommt alle 2-3 Tage. Kaffeepulver und Wasser lässt man sich im Restaurant geben. Ein insgesamt gutes Resort. Die kleinen Mängel sind kein Grund dort nicht. wieder zu buchen. Leider ist die Zimmerbeleuchtung sehr dunkel und man sieht nicht viel. Man erwartet einen täglichen Zimmerservice und ist enttäuscht, wenn der nicht kommt. Wir können auch mit diesem Rhythmus leben. Es wäre aber schön das bei der Buchung oder beim Check-in zu erfahren, damit man sich darauf einstellen kann. Ebenso wäre ein Hinweis sich das Wasser und die Kaffeebeutel im Restaurant holen, hilfreich gewesen.

• Cheryl (9/5): Quiet area. Host available as taxi. Cost 50baht per trip. - Great place by the sea. Nice and Quiet. It was in a mangrove area not beach.
• karin (5/5): Veraltet aber ruhig - Die Matratze war sehr bequem. Jeder Bungalow hat eine eigene Terrasse. Der Zugang zum Strand ist sehr nah über die Straße. Kein täglicher Zimmerservice. Dies funktioniert nur auf Anfrage. Sehr schade in einem Land in dem man kein WC-Papier in der Toilette entsorgen kann. Die Klimaanlage ist funktional, jedoch sehr veraltet und bringt nicht die Leistung. Das Badezimmer ist in einem sehr schlechten Zustand und in die Jahre gekommen. Insgesammt sollten die Bungalows dringend modernisiert werden.

• Nicole (8/5): Tolles Hotel mit sehr bequemen Betten - DAS BESTE WAR DAS BETT! Soooo bequem... Die Lage war super. Der Strand gegenüber ist herrlich. Man bekommt täglich Wasser, was man sich vorne holen kann. Klimaanlage sehr leise. Zimmer Reinigung, Handtuchwechsel nur auf Nachfrage. Am Tag kommen Affen, Katzen, Hunde und Waran vorbei. Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und unkompliziert. Safe, Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank vorhanden. Etwas dunkel. Bad renovierungsbedürftig. Morgens um halb 6 singt der Muezzin seine Lieder. In der Zimmerdecke rennen nachts Geckos herum, was zu seltsamen Geräuschen führt. Kein Fernseher auf dem Zimmer.

• Robk88 (8/5): Quaint, clean and very comfortable cottage stay. Highly recommended. - These quaint cottages were very nice, clean and comfortable. They had these huge old style wooden beds and writing desk that really added a nice touch to the place. The cottages are quite a way back from the road so there is not any noise from the main road. The balcony is superb where you can sit and relax overlooking a grassy field. The staff were also very nice and helpful. The place has a lovely open air restaurant at the front, although I can't comment on the food as I didn't eat there. Highly recommended. Only a very minor point, but there are a couple of disused units or maybe they are going to be renovated as you head to the back of the property where my cottage was. They look a bit messy and uncared for, it just detracted slightly from the aesthetic.

• Martin (10/5): Best value for the money with welcoming staff - Really good value for the money and awesome staff, very welcoming and ready to help with anything you need, we even had a sudden change of plans and the owner was super helpful and understanding. Also, don't forget to try the gyros while you are there, they are totally worth it. The lighting in the room was a bit dim and there were some occasional ants in the bathroom sink (though some bugs are expected I guess in this kind of accommodation), other than that it's exactly like the pictures

However location was a bit middle of nowhere, and lots of little flies/ants in the bed? They didn’t bite but could feel them crawling, unsure what they were. Found staff not very helpful but they are busy with the restaurant at the front which is understandable

Incredible value for money, clean, tidy, spacious and well located to the beach, bars, restaurants and walking street. The Greek food at the on site restaurant is a must too!

• Alistair (10/5): A little piece of Greek Paradise in Thailand - The rooms are spacious, clean, have huge beds and lovely verandas to sit and read on. The food on the restaurant is outstanding. The owner and his wife and staff are all very friendly. The rooms could use a little more light - even with the lights on they are abit dark inside!

• Richard (10/5): great value for a very reasonable price! - The room is very clean, quiet & has a large, comfortable bed. The furniture is remarkably elegant so it feels like one is staying in a very upmarket place. The hostess, Maria, is friendly & helpful & there is an excellent Greek restaurant on the property which is open most days. There are various shops close by and the beach is only a few minutes walk away. All in all El Greco is very good value for money & highly recommended!
• George (8/5): Homely bungalows and great host - Maria (and her dog Pepsi!) were really welcoming. The beds are comfortable and rooms have amenities like air con, fridge and coffee. We enjoyed spotting monkeys from outside our bungalow in the mornings! It’s good to have a scooter to explore other areas of the island as the beach nearest here wasn’t our favourite. I think you can rent scooters from Maria.

• Jennifer (9/5): Lovely hidden gem. - The owner is a very kind man, the room is large enough and the bed is gorgeous! It is clean and refreshed daily. Location is good, close to washing, bike hires and 7eleven. The Greek restaurant was really delicious and looks beautiful. Overall, one of our favourite places we've stayed. The only bad thing, booking says water, wine and fruits come with room, however we never received any.

• Chloe (4/5): Get what you pay for with the low cost, but overall unimpressive. - The location was very close to the beach. I booked a room with a double bed, but was given one with two twin beds instead, which the owner would not change. Also, a small animal was living in the space between the celing and the roof, and it made very loud scratching sounds during the night, which meant 3 out of the 5 nights I stayed there I couldn't sleep well. Bathroom was a bit grimy.

Greek restaurant next to it was amazing, the best Greek I’ve ever had. staff was very nice lights were very dim, one didn’t work. there was a lot of spider webs in the corners of the room with dead bugs attached which were pretty gross. toilet blocked very easy, no toilet paper was given either and no bin in bathroom.

The location was great with the beach being right across the street and you’re near many great restaurants, although I ended up eating at the restaurant at the location every night. Some of the best food I’ve had in Thailand so far! Very delicious Greek food. The mosque nearby was pretty loud but it didn’t bother me too much. I’d wear earplugs to avoid getting woken up by it.

The host is a really kind man which we call our friend now :D The rooms were clean and the bed was the best bed we had in our 4 weeks Thailand trip! Often the beds in Thailand were too hard for our European backs but this one was heaven! Very cozy. Nice Restaurant in front. I would suggest the superior bungalow, which we get to see by accident.That was beyond beautiful!!! It is near the beach (beautiful beach section with a very nice restaurant directly at the beach to have breakfast and look at the sea) I hope you can enjoy you stay as much as we did :)
