Girotto (6/5): È stato troppo breve per una vera valutazione mai il posto è complessivamente carinocarino - La colazione ( scelta dolce salato , prodotti buoni) e la posizione comoda anche se l'isola è molto piccola quindi è tutto concentrato. Il fatto che non c'era set di cortesia in bagno, neppure una saponetta perché essendo a fine stagione le avevano finite quindi siamo stati invitati a comprarci una saponetta al negozio del paese.. Faccio presente che abbiamo pagato 4notti e 4 colazioni e usufruito solo di 1 notte e 1 colazione per non aver potuto raggiungere l'isola causa mal tempo.

jennifer (5/5): Pleasant stay but poor value compared to everywhere else we stayed in Western Sicily - Friendly staff, transfer of luggage from port, lovely breakfast - pool and garden though much smaller than they appear in the photos. This place is vastly overpriced for what it is - at £190 a night to be expected to pay extra for air conditioning is not on. This is extremely basic accommodation and everything is extra - pool towels, water - no shampoo or washing up liquid. The fact that it was really quiet - probably a quarter full at the weekend and fewer guests during the week in July speaks volumes. I booked and paid ages in advance but felt ripped off - I would like Booking .com to investigate as this was not good value for customers.

Terri (8/5): - The Marettimo Residence is well suited for active people. The property is large and walking back and forth to our room was a bit of a challenge for us. We did come away from our stay with more stamina and agility in the short time we were there. Martina contacted us through WhatsApp and came to get our bags from liberty lines. Martina also went above and beyond trying to help us find some relatives who we heard lived on Marettimo. The morning breakfast was so nice! We went off season so no hot tub or pool. Loved having a little kitchen and a back deck.
Andrew (6/5): Pleasant but could have been a lot better - Stayed here 16 years and loved Marettimo so thought we would come back, hotel location is excellent, mind you it's the only one on the island, breakfast is also good, staff at reception and breakfast were also nice In my opinion the hotel has not changed much much since my last visit 16 years ago and that's the problem, the rooms are dated, lack of self catering facilities such as wine glasses, proper mugs, plus 2 small square pieces of soap, We are paying nearly £250 per night and we are staying for 4 nights, I would expect better plus on the last day when we were checking out, I would not expect to see the cleaner smoking when cleaning the room out next door, this probably reflects in our shower cubicle which was dirty where it attaches to the bottom of the shower tray

Rupert (9/5): Beautiful island and attractive resort - Lovely location overlooking the harbour in Maretimmo. We were early in the season so many of the facilities were not yet operating, but the price reflected that. We had good breakfast included with fresh fruit, yoghurt, croissant and cake, plus freshly made coffee, served on the communal terrace, which was nicely shaded by vines. The apartment was spacious, there were catering facilities but we didn't use them, preferring to try out the three restaurants in the town open at that time of year, all of which are good in their own way. Marettimo is great for hiking, swimming at isolated bays and the wonderful spring wild flowers. Wifi was a bit patchy.
Verified traveler (10/5): Coming back again - Very very nice stay. We booked a room with sea view, which was worth every cent, with an amazing view. Lovely little study apartment with small kitchen, where we prepared lunch and dinner from the local butcher. Very welcoming staff, and not a crowded place. Only downside was the missing aircon, there was only a fan, but would love to visit again.
