The staff were so gentle, kind, and genuinely caring you can feel they really love what they do. Every part of the property was spotless; it’s one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. The rooms are bright, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful details that make you feel right at home. And then, the view, absolutely breathtaking. Waking up and looking out over Tropea feels like stepping into a postcard. The town itself is magical, full of charm, delicious food, and friendly locals, and La Dolce Vita is the best place to experience it all. I honestly wish I could give more than 10 stars. It’s not just a stay; it’s an experience full of warmth, beauty, and care. Highly, highly recommend!

We went to several of the lookouts and none of them had a better view than we did from the hotel. It’s also right in the center of Tropea so you have east access to so many restaurants and shops in a few steps. Our room was clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the beach club near the hotel and felt very supported by the staff throughout our stay.

Not only were rooms very clean and modern, but the view from the veranda was breathtaking. Laetitia and Guiseppe were great hosts and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable and pleasurable as possible. Our rooms were cleaned every day and breakfast was fantastic! I would not hesitate to stay at La Dolce Vita the next time we visit Tropea; I give La Dolce Vita and their staff 5 stars!

The staff did a great job communicating and made it easy to address parking and other arrangements. Arranging a taxi from the parking is the only option to avoid walking with luggage and it's expensive for a ride that's less than 5 minutes. (Not the fault of the hotel at all but just be advised).

• gjknack (10/5): Best Place we have ever visited and best accommodations in Tropea, Italy - The whole experience was the best me and my wife have ever had. The property and hotel were outstanding. The staff from the time we arrived till we left went far beyond our expectations. We were greeted upon arrival with the owners Claudia and Letizia and every day one of them were always available for any our questions or concerns. They made up feel like family at all times. They also were very quick to set up tours to different towns and also had a van service readily available at all times. The views from the terrace were probably one of the best views of any place I have ever been. Also the beach in Tropea was also one of the best beaches we have every visited.

The location is spectacular - overlooking the sea and just off a charming piazza. What really stood out for me was the owner/manager. Every one of our requests was not only met but anticipated. The owner and her daughter Laetitia are a fantastic team. Charming and über efficient Laetitia speaks excellent Italian, German and English (probably other languages as well!) and did everything for us from arranging car service, checking our air conditioning, making dining recommendations/securing reservations to entertaining our three year old grandchild. We also enjoyed our day at the nearby private beach club where Laetitia made us reservations for lounge chairs and umbrellas right by the water. The hotel also gave us beach towels to take on a boat trip the next day. This is truly a full service team! When one of the incoming party’s luggage ended up in a black hole at La Mezia airport, the husband/father of the hotel owner managed to obtain the luggage and bring it down to Tropea with him! The hotel is small which definitely adds to its appeal. Our room was spacious and appointed with everything we needed, Breakfasting out on the terrace overlooking the sea is just the way anyone would want to start the day - every day. This lovely hotelskes makes a trip to Tropea worthwhile. The owners also have several small but charming and fully equipped apartments in nearby Tropea (all located in the heart of the historic part of the city). La Dolce Vita certainly lives up to its name - the sweet life indeed!

The air conditioning had cool air coming from it but never seemed to really cool the room down entirely. The showers need the grout cleaned a little but everything else outweighs these. Would stay again!

Unica recomendacao é que tivessem alguma ajuda para nos levar ao estacionamento para buscar o carro. Levar as malas nas ruas de pedra é bem complicado e o carro precisa de licenca para passar nas ruas.

Short walk from drop off place, but hauling luggage on cobblestone isn’t the most accommodating. Throughly enjoyed our stay here.

• Carvalho (8/5): Nice hotel, great view, we enjoyed very much - Location was Very good, the hotel provided parking space (paid) and booked us a taxi from the parking lot to the hotel (also paid), the room was comfortable although a little bit dark . The only problem was that when we were leaving we asked the manager to book a taxi for a specific time because we had a tight schedule , and even though he confirmed it he hadn’t booked the taxi , so we had to ask for a taxi and were delayed in half an hour. This delayed our tour and we almost had to pay a delay fee, so we were not so happy about it. It was much smaller than what we thought, but that was not a problem
• Lorenza (9/5): Superb - Very lovely hotel in a prime location. We used their contact for transport from the airport, and he was able to drive straight into the historical center to drop us off. The staff at check in were very helpful and quick. The balcony with the stunning view was just breathtaking, can't be beat. Room was nice, modern and clean. Breakfast on the terrace in the morning was amazing and had a lot of selection. We went to the beach club they recommended as it had an area reserved for their guests (30€ for 2 chairs and umbrella). Easy to walk to the center of Tropea and the beach area
• Allison (10/5): Exceptional - Location, decor, amazing staff Nothing was wrong with it at all. I would appreciate a cappuccino before 8am but they do have an espresso maker in each room, so not a big deal
