- Jaclyn (8/5): Queen Room Review - The hotel was nice amd for the most part very clean. There was a water spot on the ceiling and some yellow stains on the bathroom wall. The bed was super hard, though, so my husband and I did nkt sleep the best. The kids said they woke up several times as well because the bed wasnt very comfortable. The staff was friendly and check-in was easy.

Nothing at this time. The only minor thing is I like cream cheese on my toasted bread and they didn’t have any. No big deal.

Dan, who was managing the front desk, was extremely considerate and helped me and my family feel welcomed until we got back on the road. He and the rest of the staff were very kind and accommodating. The hotel is very clean, comfortable, modern, nice and well kept.

They got to swim, fish, walk to Bass Pro, hang out, and enjoy their down time all at one place! I enjoyed the work out room, the mall, and close restaurants! Both desk people i dealt with didnt even look up from the computer. At check in lady may of spoke 2 words to me, normally they tell you breakfast times and a little info about the property and the lady at checkout she didn't speak to me at all.
- Timothy (4/5): - Area was nice and in walking distance to many shops and a couple of restaurants. The breakfast was excellent and had many hot teas to choose from. However, the queen beds were too hard, and A/C was very hot even at 60 degrees. There was no microwave in the room, so we had to go use the lobby microwave The mini fridge froze our drinks over night. The pool was small and only 4 feet deep, which works for cooling off and small toddlers. There was a nice hot tub also.

Then, when we complained that the dog next door was continuously barking, he gave us a different room. Bed was very comfortable and the rest of our stay was great. The pool was ice cold so many people went to the hot tub. When the jets were turned on…. I hopped out of there so quick. The bubbles were oily and BROWN!! The water prior to the jets turned on was murky and cloudy. I would stay here again and just avoid the whole pool area.
- Motion22 (6/5): Not a Marriott Mission Moment - Not as I Remember On previous visits very pleased, this time not so much. Began when I booked and found rates were jacked up to $300 on Friday night so I changed to a more reasonable day for my 2 day stay. Receptionist would not let me do early check in at 2:30 even though I am a Gold Member as she said hotel was full and rooms not yet cleaned. So I had to find a place for my 93 year old friend on a walker to rest in the lobby. At exactly 3 PM rooms were miraculously all cleaned at the same time and she started checking in folks. Not offered the bottle of water gold members get…had to ask. No housekeeping and not told there would not be any so I got my $10 tip back. Staff not very friendly- just going thru required motions. If you are not offering daily bed make up via housekeeping, it might be nice to mention it or place a sign in the room. This was not a Marriott mission moment.

- Melissa (4/5): Looks nice, but smell was nauseating. - Location. The room had a bad smell. We finally discovered it was coming from the drain in the bathtub. When we called the front desk to report it, they sent up some Febreeze to mask the smell. We noticed many housekeepers with bottles of this spray on their carts and other guests with the bottles walking in the hallway. This is NOT a solution to a drain smell. When we didn't stay the 2nd night, we were not offered a refund or discount.

I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. While the room was very clean—which I appreciated—that’s where the positives ended. The air conditioning was broken, and with no fans available and windows that didn’t open, the room quickly became uncomfortably warm and stuffy. The beds were rock hard, making it difficult to sleep, and the hot tub was so hot it was unusable. Breakfast was another disappointment, as it started too late on the weekend for me to take advantage of it before heading out. The most frustrating part of my stay was dealing with management. I was reassured on two separate occasions that my room would be refunded due to the issues I experienced, but that refund never came through. The front desk staff was courteous, but management failed to follow through on their word. Overall, the lack of comfort and poor follow-up from management left me very disappointed with my stay. I will not be returning.

- Becky (9/5): Superb - We had a suite with a beautiful view overlooking a pond. The room was very clean and the breakfast was great with a nice variety of choices. The location was convenient with many nice restaurants, shopping, and recreation options nearby. The lighted mirror in the bathroom was especially appreciated for makeup application. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I tried to use a Visa GC that we received for holidays, and they couldn't figure out how to do it, lack of knowledge, and couldn't explain why. Our room didnt seem cleaned well, bathroom floor had hair on it, bedding had some stains. We also had a tremendous issue with noise, kids running up and down halls, and peolpe coming through around 3am really loud(which I realize isn't the hotel staffs fault, but they could have said something to them coming through the lobby) all in all fairly disappointing this stay, I would have overlooked it more, if the staff had been professional and friendly.

- ValerieH9999 (8/5): Great location! - Great location, next to the outlet mall & Bass Pro Shops, 2 walkable restaurants and several other restaurants/stores a few minutes' drive away. Plus very close to Adventureland. Breakfast was just ok, but free, so can't complain too much. I did notice quite a bit of noise in the room, due to the fact that the door had a bit of a gap all the way around (could see light coming through at night). We could very easily hear other doors closing and hallway conversations. I checked in online via the app, and our room was ready at approx 9am the day of check-in. We got to town around 12:30 and were able to unload our luggage before heading to an event. If we are ever in the area, I would likely stay here again.

- uncvcutraveller (8/5): Good hotel stay in Altoona - I was given the wrong room originally. But that was okay. The rooms were nice and it was generally quiet. There was a storm but we did not lose power while most of the area did. Looked like there was some construction with the doors when I stayed. Hopefully, it is fixed now. It is in a good location, walking distance to some restaurants and close to the highways.

- Whitney (10/5): - We ended up in a Multi-bed Suite because a lot were sold out. The kids (and parents) loved all of the room!! Very clean, easy check in process, and easy to get to! Our room looked over the pond so that was a plus for the kiddos to see all of the geese!

No room for an extra chair in the room and (i can't believe I'm going to say this) but the pillows were too soft to prop yourself up in the bed. Did like the access to filtered water in the fitness area. Housekeeping was FANTASTIC!

- Angela (10/5): - This hotel has become our go to place to stay in the area. Very clean, spacious and quiet, comfortable rooms. Nice bedding. Floors are clean. Great water pressure in the shower. Free self parking. Friendly staff. Breakfast was simple but good. Options to grab and go, or to plenty of seating to sit and enjoy. Hot breakfast was scrambled eggs, cheese eggs, sausage. There was also yougert, cereals, toast and other items. The workout room looked nice. Talked to some kids who had used the pool. They said it was nice but lots of chlorine. This hotel is very close to outlet shopping and Bass Pro.

- Claudia (10/5): Great Stay - Very nice hotel, fairly new from my estimate. I booked a lake view room, but when I got to my room it was not a lake view. When I told the front desk, she upgraded me to a suite with a lake view at no extra charge. Super helpful and friendly staff. Totally clean room.
- John (8/5): Quiet Room & Beautiful View - The room was very quiet for its location near the highway and for the busy Labor Day weekend when we attended. The view out our room window of the pond was wonderful. The facility was clean and modern with friendly staff. It was a busy labor day weekend and the breakfast area couldn't keep up with the crowds. The room, while clean, always felt damp, even with the AC running.

I love how the hotel extras like shampoo and conditioner are larger and wall mounted for those who have super long hair. We all enjoyed breakfast with all the great variety. Hot tub jets were not working (hot still) but told us if needed we could use the hotel next doors (Hyatt). Pool hours were great! I love the check in and out times. Great hotel within walking distance to restaurants and shopping!

- Breanna (9/5): Superb - Easy to get to, walking distance to restaurants, we went to Burger Shed the hotel gave us 2 free drink vouchers. The pool was smaller but perfect temperature and the breakfast was good! Comfortable beds, clean rooms. Drinks and snacks available in the lobby all hours and was reasonably priced. Lots of outdoor seating to sit out and enjoy the view of the pond.
