A memo was issued to every member of our group, despite us occupying more than 35 rooms spread across different blocks and floors of the hotel. According to the management, there had been “complaints” regarding noise from our group. However, it remains unclear whether any proper due diligence was carried out before the notice was circulated. Most of us had simply gathered in one or two rooms, with the doors closed, for a friendly catch-up among friends, and certainly not in any public areas of the hotel. While we understand and respect the hotel’s house rules, we found the tone and wording of the memo to be unnecessarily unfriendly and somewhat biased in its approach. Besides, their frontline colleagues sometimes sound impolite. With the encounter, I'm compelled to rate the hotel as just above satisfactory.

• angryptaszek (10/5): Przystanek w drodze z Phi Phi na lotnisko, bardzo dobry hotel - Zatrzymaliśmy się tutaj na jedną noc w drodze z Phi Phi na lotnisko i hotel w pełni spełnił nasze oczekiwania. Obiekt jest wygodny i czysty, a do dyspozycji gości oddano ładny, choć niewielki basen. Biorąc pod uwagę bardzo dobry stosunek jakości do ceny oraz lokalizację w centrum Krabi, to świetny wybór na krótki pobyt. Naprzeciwko znajduje się przyzwoita restauracja, na miejscu można zjeść śniadanie, a dojazd na lotnisko za pomocą aplikacji Grab jest wygodny i bezproblemowy.

• Carla (9/5): Comfortable, enjoyable, clean & easy! - Krabi Sea Bass was an awesome place to stay - so close to the city and the river, the markets and shops. The hotel & our room itself was very clean, the staff very helpful and friendly, the pool was awesome and the breakfast was tasty with lots of options. Good to have 24 hour reception & a drinks fridge for alcohol and non alcoholic drinks. Would definitely stay again! We would have liked the pool to be open a little later.

• Najade (8/5): Fijn verblijf - De kamer was ruim. Een goed uitgeruste badkamer. Ze hadden het zetelbed opgemaakt om te slapen voor onze zoon, heel fijn! Het was een fijn zwembad. Het eten bij het ontbijt was lekker en vers. De laatste nachten van ons verblijf was het heel druk in het hotel. Er waren veel gezinnen met kinderen die 's ochtends vroeg op waren en meteen het zwembad gebruikten. Hierdoor werden we vroeg wakker. Het zwembad was dan niet ruim genoeg omdat er heel veel mensen het wilden gebruiken. De kussens waren vrij hard om te slapen.

Travelling is already tired and need to wait for check in time is another troublesome. Please allow early check in. Management don't loose or gain anything. Thank you.

J ai pris 3 nuits sur place , j ai voulu louer un scooter pour aller faire du change et faire 5 sacs de linge sale . Ils ont exigé impérativement que je paie la location du scooter avant de partir alors que je suis client de l'hôtel , j ai laissé mon passeport et même 50e de caution ( 5 jours de location alors que je voulais louer que pour une journée) le temps de changer l'argent et revenir . On dirait qu'on parlait à des robots , aucune compréhension, ni empathie. Ils ont refusé toutes les solutions et répètent toujours le même discours . Ils ont refusé d'appeler un responsable pour parler avec lui Ils nous ont donc laissé partir à pied sous 35 degré de chaleur avec nos 5 sacs de linge .

It would have been better if they’ve mentioned it earlier. They were not even willing to let us purchase even the ice cream or cakes infront of the counter.

• Jens (8/5): Schönes Hotelzimmer in Krabi - War nur für eine Nacht: tolles komfortables Zimmer mit großem Bett (bin 1,99). Sehr modernes Zimmer und Badezimmer. Sehr toll. Sehr freundliches Personal. Man kann in der Lobby auch Getränke kaufen, was ich gut fand. Die Lage fand ich nicht ganz so toll aber dafür kann das Hotel erst mal nichts.

• Talha Mahmood (6/5): - We had a very serious and disturbing experience at this hotel, and I strongly advise families with children to be careful. During our stay in Krabi, our young son suffered a burn injury after stepping on a metal plate near the pool area. The surface was extremely hot. There were absolutely no warning signs, no barriers, and no indication that this surface was dangerous. It was in an open area where any guest, including children or even adults, could easily step on it by accident. This is a major safety failure. What made the situation worse was how the staff and management handled the incident: There was no first aid kit available at the hotel Staff did not take the situation seriously and did not respond properly When we asked for help, they kept saying they were looking for a first aid kit but never actually provided one The manager blamed us and said we left the child unattended, which is completely incorrect — the incident happened within seconds while we were right there Even an adult could have stepped on this surface because there was no warning or protection The manager did not apologise at all and showed no empathy Our child was in pain, needed medical treatment, and had difficulty walking after the incident. This caused a lot of stress and completely affected our stay. This is not just about poor service — this is a serious safety hazard combined with unacceptable staff behaviour. The hotel must: Put clear warning signs and barriers around dangerous surfaces Ensure proper first aid availability Train staff to handle emergencies with responsibility and care We hope the hotel takes this seriously. Until then, guests — especially families — should be very cautious.

There is a nice fish restaurant in the town ‘The River’ Only the bedroom had aircon, the rest of the hotel was very hot. The ac in the room was noisy and the bathroom lighting too dim. The breakfast was ok but basic.

Le petit déjeuner copieux le matin et la piscine. Proposition d’excursions de l’hôtel sur les belles îles avoisinantes avec prise en charge à l’hôtel. Location de scooter à l’hotel. Proche du centre ville et des restaurants. Il n’y avait pas de coffre fort dans la chambre. Il y avait tout de même des casiers avec clés à l’accueil.

Im Umkreis hat man Geschäfte etc. Wer allerdings den Strand liebt, so wie wir, der sollte ein anderes Hotel nehmen, da dieses Hotel in der Stadt liegt. Das Frühstück ist ausbaufähig.

• Juerg (6/5): - Gute Lage, modernes Hotel. Als Hotelgast steht man hier permanent unter Generalverdacht. Beim Checkin muss man die Kreditkarte angeben für eventuelle Schäden, musste ich in Thailand bisher noch nie angeben. Möchte man ein Handtuch für den Pool, muss man umständlich ein Formular unterschreiben. Und beim Checkout wird zuerst kontrolliert, ob man Schäden im Zimmer angerichtet hat und man wartet entsprechend lang wieder in der Lobby.

• Arash (1/5): Be aware of the theft! - The rooms in this hotel don't have safety box and on my arrival, the staff at the desk, didn't tell me that you could use the safety box iin the room behind reception. There is a written laminated A4 paper on the desk that it says that you can use the safety box but the staff didn't rell me. I was keeping my money inside my waste bag and at times, when I needed to exchange money, I would take some out. On my last day when I was checking out, instictly I decided to count my money and before starting to count, I was horrified to realise that my stack of money looked a lot less. My money, to be exact $1200, got stolen from my bag. There was no qay to prove that my money was stolen. The manager offered to do a finger print check on the bag on my check out day when I was going to catch my other international flight! How convenient I am so disappointed with this hotel. I have been traveling to Thailand for over 15 years and that is the first time that something like this happens to me and either you want it or not, it makes you think twice to return to Thailand ever! I don't understand why this hotel does not invest in getting safety box for each room. To me that is just standard. The hotel is decent and my room was big with a large balcony overlooking the pool and I had a very soft and comfortable mattress, the kind that you don't find that often in Thailand's hotels but this experience ruined everything.

• Ori (5/5): - The Hotel has nice design And good location 1- Basin in the bathroom is too low maybe 1 meter high and very small maybe 1 feet 2-the window curtines dont block the light properly. You need to do double layer like in other good hotel. 3-They refused to give extra key to the room (which is a standart in most hotels too keep aircon working) or somthing to make aircone work wile im not there so was humid and hot whenever i camback. In such i short stay its not comtrable. 4-This is a non smoking hotel. As a smoker i was told to smoke in the parking lot under a tree. 5-When checking out there was a small towel missing. (Probably becouse i didnt ask cleaning. Just replaced it mysef with the cleaner) I was told by the staff to open my bags and to search infrot of theme for the small towel at 5 am

• Saskia (8/5): Netter Aufenthalt, wenn es nach vielen Hostels mal wieder ein Hotel sein soll - Die Zimmer sind geräumig und schön eingerichtet. Das Frühstücksbuffet war lecker und der Pool war sauber und gepflegt. Poolhandtücher konnten sich umsonst ausgeliehen werden. Leider hat ich in meinem ersten Zimmer Schimmel an der Decke gesehen. Und auch nicht nur ein bisschen. Das Personal hat mir ein zweites Zimmer gezeigt, dass ebenfalls mit Schimmel befallen war. Im dritten Zimmer war dann alles gut.

• James (10/5): Perfect stop over location. - It was very clean and modern, the bathroom and beds were excellent. It was location was excellent with easy walking distance from the night market and local amenities , and with some decent eateries across the road and down the street, and nine minutes from the boat pier by cab. The perfect stop over location. There was no safe in the room though there were safe boxes at the reception. The pool was nice but very small, it would get crowded when the hotel was busy.
• Jo (6/5): Shame about the manager’s attitude as otherwise would have been perfect for a one night stay in Krabi town - Lovely little pool, rooms were clean and simple, good Thai food at breakfast The manager and as a result the reception staff were very unhelpful after a misunderstanding about an extra bed so I didn’t have to share with my 19 year old daughter who has a health condition. They did give us one pillow and one blanket for the sofa which was not a bed or clean and no sheets. They told us they had no more but we saw an open cupboard full of extra clean bed stuff the next morning. So even if they couldn’t help with the bed situation they could allow me me extra free bottle of drinking water in the room after all our disappoint so my daughter could take all her medication

• Andreas (10/5): Tolles, preiswertes Stadt-Hotel - nicht nur für eine Nacht! - Wir waren zum zweiten Mal hier, dieses Mal 4 Nächte, um die beeindruckende Gegend um Krabi mit dem Scooter zu erkunden. Die Zimmer sind sauber, stilvoll und gut ausgestattet. Der Pool ist herrlich und das Frühstück recht gut. Das Personal ist freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Für 350 Baht kann man gute Scooter leihen. Der Nachtmarkt ist nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Insgesamt ist das Seabass Hotel absolut empfehlenswert. Das Preis- Leistungsniveau ist perfekt!
