Wouldn't stay again or recommend. - The man on the night shift was helpful and reassuring when I expressed concerns about feeling unwell from a smell when in the room. Building work in the lobby but didnt find it noisy as was out during the day. Very very tired. Everything falling apart. Smoke alarm had tape on it, fuse box wide open with tape where it had been stuck closed together, bin didnt open inside under sink cupboard, window air vent didnt work so window has to be open or closed, room unbearably hot, bed sunken in middle, really loud outside from nearby nightclubs, dated tired bathroom and all furniture and flooring marked, chipped and scratched. Reception staff always on their phones, or with phone on loudspeaker. One staff member sat there on a break and was quite rude. I paid £450 for one night in this hotel during a conference and I'd generally say it was quality of a low end 3* hotel if not for them providing the cooking amenities. I would not think the rooms were worth more than £80 if they didnt have these amenities. Sub par vs other Leeds offerings. Rather stay in a Travelodge !

Lovely and really helpfull reception staff, greeted me warmly and offered advice. The preview dsecription was a little bit misleading about the mini shop. Location very handy, but I'd have been a bit anxious going out after dark.

• Katie (7/5): A comfortable stay close to the city centre, apartment needs updating/maintenence. - In a good location, very close to the shops/restaurants etc. Main bedroom bed was comfortable. The size and layout of the apartment suited us being a family of 4 with 2 older children. The apartment was in need of some maintenance/repair. The bathroom floor in particular had a number of broken tiles and the others were loose. The bunk bed needed tightening up as it moved a lot and therefore made creaking noises and the curtains in the main bedroom had stains on them.

Being able to give our child their own adjoining room was great and meant we all rested properly. The bedrooms.need some lamps! The room was spacious, with plenty of plugs, lighting, a desk, sofa and telly; it felt like a studio apartment, and had all the necessary facilities. The main lobby also had a few kitchen items (food, etc) in case you forgot anything. I couldn't quite figure out how to cast from my phone to the television; it would have been good to watch my own streaming platforms. We also weren't sure on how to use some of the facilities, for example, the extractor fan. If there were stickers explaining how to use some of them, that would be great!

The bed was a good size and comfortable. When you opened the windows you heard the noise and kareoke but it is a city centre location and you have to expect that.

• Stephen Arthur (9/5): A very close 10/10 for this city accommodation, we would definitely choose Roomzzz accommodation again. - A very roomy clean apartment and a great central location! Complimentary hot drinks and morning pastries are available from the reception area coupled with amazing reception staff who make you feel very welcomed. The TV .. but I can’t really call it a complaint as the cost to stay here is great value but an upgrade to a smart TV would be appreciated.

The two bedrooms were perfect and the living room space was ideal for our group The kitchen worktops could do with a little updating but this was only minor. The bathroom flooring was quite badly cracked but again this did not really affect our overall stay as this was just cosmetic

• Gemma (8/5): Great Location - We came for Leeds Fest. I won't camp so, we booked an apartment. Room was clean & comfortable. A little tired but, everything worked fine. A great location for the centre & the shuttles. A short walk from Granary Wharf which, is really pretty. The only grumble was, that we were there 4 days & the bin didn't get emptied but, if that's the only grumble, I'll take it. Would we stay again... YES!

Being woken at 6am - 6:15am every morning with bins being emptied etc outside and that continued till past 8am constant coming and going. 2. On arrival to room clumps of hair in shower room looked like cleaners hadn't finished. 3. Only 1 towel but was w of us had to ask for more. 4. Only 1 toilet roll there fir 3 days had to ask for more. 5. Emailed ahead as daughters 18th birthday and wanted some banners or something said they would stay sort something out but nothing not even a happy birthday from staff.
