- Travis (8/5): Thank you front desk. - The young man named Sam who works the front desk is the best. He recommended an area to walk along the river and forest that was awesome. Then he helped me out with a phone charger situation. Usually never get this type of customer service from a front desk.

The room is spacious, clean, and tidy, with a comfy bed and a balcony that faces another building (so not river or mountain views). A hot water pot with some tea bags would be a nice touch.

- Monika (8/5): - Gutes Hotel direkt am HBF und ZOB . Optimal für Ausflüge. Das historische Zentrum liegt ca 15 Minuten Fußweg entfernt. Allerdings geht es sehr steil hoch. Man kann aber bequem einen Bus nehmen.

The walk ability was amazing, the breakfast and dinner restaurant were also really great. It was one of our favorite hotels that we stayed at again. I can’t begin to describe how beautiful the view from all the hotel rooms and the balconies that they had. So close and walkable to everything with a gorgeous river outside would definitely come back and stay again.!

Der Schrank war für unsere Bedürfnisse nicht so gut, was aber nicht schlimm ist. Wir hätten im Schrank mehr Ablagefläche benötigt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Webseiten wie Google (nur die Suche) und Youtube haben problemlos geladen aber bei allen anderen (z.B. beim Clicken auf die Ergebnisse von Google) kam nur eine Fehlermeldung.
- Max (10/5): - Review for Hotel Schwabenwirt We stayed at Hotel Schwabenwirt for two nights and had a great experience. One highlight was the early check-in—our room was ready when we arrived, which made things very convenient. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, adding to the pleasant stay. Our room was very spacious, with a modern and well-lit bathroom. The bed was comfortable and spacious, and we slept very well both nights. The windows provided excellent sound insulation, so despite the hotel’s strategic location right across from the Berchtesgaden train and bus station, we had no issues with noise at all. The hotel is located right in front of the Berchtesgadener Ache, a beautiful river with crystal-clear waters, adding to the charm of the surroundings. The location is not only strategic for transportation but also very convenient, with two supermarkets (Rewe and Lidl) and a DM drugstore right next door. This made it easy to grab anything we needed during our stay. The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of options to start the day. Overall, I wouldn’t think twice about returning to Hotel Schwabenwirt when visiting Berchtesgaden. Its convenient location, beautiful surroundings, and friendly staff make it a great choice. Highly recommended!

The location is super close to the train/bus station and a short walk to the shops. My family loved the stay and we would definitely go back!

- Shelby (8/5): - I loved staying at Hotel Schwabenwirt! The staff gets an A for helpfulness! Unfortunately I didn’t get her name, but one of the receptionists felt like a friend by the time we left, as she had helped us multiple times throughout our stay in addition to check in and check out. Breakfast being included was convenient and helpful for keeping costs down and getting going with our activities earlier in the day than if we had to go find somewhere to eat breakfast. We highly recommend this stay for anyone visiting Berchtesgaden without a car and relying on public transportation, as it is right across the street from the train and bus station. Our only qualm was that our room faced the street, and the noise was loud until things calmed down late at night, especially since we had the window open pretty much constantly to regulate the temperature.

Biergarten was really nice the breakfast buffet and restaurant was great. There was a young blond waitress with and accent she was really friendly and smiled the whole time. The hotel is very close to the Kehlsteinhaus and Koenigsee. It's right by the river and street so it was a little noisy but great location.

- Tuan (10/5): - Check-in was fast and easy. The host was friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was good, and the free breakfast buffet was excellent. Workers at the restaurant were courteous, friendly, and generous.
- Patrick (10/5): - Had a great time! Hotel is perfectly located to bus terminal and train station! Made for easy access to get to places to see.
- Jerome (8/5): - The hotel was very nice, clean, in good shape, but with limited amenities (e.g., no refrigerator or safe, or lotions in the bathroom). The desk staff was very helpful.
- Timothy (10/5): Middle of October - The hotel overlooked a river. It was also on a traffic circle and across from the bus station but near was heard. The location was easy to access all points of interest. Breakfast was outstanding and dinner was good. There is not many dining options in October. There are grocery stores nearby. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The only down side would have been a slow elevator during busy season.
- Brian (10/5): - Wonderful hotel in a beautiful location on a sparkling clear river. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the river and was put to sleep each night with the sound of the water. Staff was excellent and the food at their restaurant was excellent as well. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

- Paul (8/5): Great town and good location - Great access to town, train and bus stations. The dinner and breakfast were also good. Being from the US we are used to AC in the rooms so were very warm for us. They did loan a small fan which helped.
- Barbara (6/5): - Poor communication about how the electric stays on in the room. Was not told that it was necessary to keep the room key in the holder by the door; when the lights went out I thought I blew a fuse. Also no bottled water for sale at the bar and no ice
- Gary (10/5): - The entire staff was very friendly and helpful. We liked the robe and slippers on our bed, which was very comfortable!
- Linda (10/5): Pleasant Place - This is a lovely hotel. Restaurant/biergarden on site. Staff very friendly and helpful. It is across the street from the train and bus station. A bit of a walk into town. We would stay again!
- warren (10/5): Just right - Nice and central. Great breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Large modern rooms and bathrooms.
