• sroth (8/5): - Perfekte Lage; großes Zimmer und Bad; sauber. Trotz direkter Lage an einem großen Parkplatz und Spielplatz ruhig bei geschlossenen Fenstern. Kühlschrank, Tee und kleine Süßigkeiten vorhanden. Leider ist das Bad+WC zum restlichen Zimmer nur mit einem Vorhang getrennt. Hier sollte unbedingt eine Türe sein! Außerdem gab es leider keine ausreichende Abdunkelung, nur Vorhänge, die aber sehr viel Licht ins Zimmer gelassen haben. Verbindung zum Flughafen: Bushaltestelle in ca. 10-15 Minuten zu Fuss - wenige Verbindungen am Sonntag. Wichtig: die Zimmer in den oberen geschossen sind nur durch eine sehr enge und teils niedrige Treppe erreichbar. Für uns OK, aber mit schwerem Gepäck, älteres Personen etc. sehr umständlich.

• Howard (10/5): - The room was clean and inviting with a comfortable bed. The location was excellent and overall a great value when coming to Bari. I have absolutely no complaints!
• Louis (4/5): - Neither the owner nor any staff were on the premises. I had to make an appointment to check in so somebody could be there. The Internet didn't work. I contacted the owner, but he said he wasn't around, so just wait a while and it may come on. The TV didn't have a signal because the wire was pulled out of the wall. I tried to fix it, but it still didn't work. There was a certain old-world charm to the building, but it was not maintained well. The walls were full of scuff marks, and there was one small hole in one. The pillow had a case but not a cover, so looking at it from the side, it was all stained. They advertised a continental breakfast, but it was a total joke, consisting of a small basket of toast crackers and jam in the room. No coffee, only tea bags. The spiral staircase was scary to bring a suitcase up, especially since there was no handrail to hold onto. There was a parking lot in front of the place, but I could only park there until 8:00 PM, then had to move my car because it was reserved for only the locals overnight. So I ended up parking a couple blocks away and had to keep running back to add more money to the meter. There was a playground / hangout directly in front of the hotel, and there was noise coming from it all night long. The large shampoo bottle said coconut, but it was green and didn't smell like coconut. It appeared that the owner just kept refilling it with something else. But all the main attractions in the old city were within walking distance.
• Hendrik (6/5): Gute Lage, hochwertig aber abgewohnt - Perfekte Lage. Direkt an der Altstadt, aber zugleich abseits der Touristenmassen. Hochwertige, aber abgewohnte Einrichtung. Der Host ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Es gibt nur einen Vorhang zum Bad, bei dem auch die Aufhängung etwas kaputt ist. Auch sonst ist die Unterkunft leider ziemlich abgewohnt. Alle Halterungen für Handtücher, Toilettenpapier etc. sind defekt. Kühlschrank hat auch nicht funktioniert. Für das (sehr einfache) italienische Frühstück gab es nicht mal Besteck.

• Kathy (4/5): Nice place but not a B&B - The location was fantastic. The rooms were large and comfortable. There were broken fixtures in the bathroom and a decorative “ birdseye” mirror over the sink that usually is a hall decoration as it doesn’t function as a mirror. But my main and major concern is that the place is called a bed and breakfast, but while there was a comfortable bed there was no breakfast. There was an electric tea pot, a dorm fridge and a basket of stale tea ( undrinkable) Melba toast and cookie packets with jam. The fridge was nice for fruit we bought but I specifically selected a B&B expecting breakfast. There was no staff on site.
• Flemming (8/5): - Charming old building. The small apartment was surprisingly spacious and had a nice balcony. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was great, with a large showerhead and a handheld option. Towels were clean and fresh. The location was very central, which was a big plus. However, cleanliness could have been better overall, and instead of a proper bathroom door, there was just a heavy curtain, which felt a bit awkward. Despite that, we really enjoyed our stay and would choose this place again.

• Monica (8/5): Bør opplevelsen - Vi hadde et flott opphold på 2 uker. Dette ligger jo i gamlebyen som er fylt av fastboende, gamle bygg, trange gater, liv og røre i gatene. Veldig mange flott små kirker. Beliggenheter for oss var helt perfekt. Veldig koselig leilighet. Litt å utsette på hvordan ikke fikk justert A/C etter hva man ønsket selv. Ble veldig varmt på nettene, når man ikke kunne sett på kaldere, var nok en sperre der. Ettersom vi var i 2 uker så ble dette da litt utfordrene. Samme med kjøleskapet, det var veldig lite + det ble jo ikke kaldt det som var inni der, heller litt lunkent. Men, totalen av 14 uker i Bari helt utrolig bra

Wifi was inconsistent and couldn't get hot water. Could have called to ask but chose to manage without it. Overall, great little spot.
• Sylvie (6/5): Obstination pour avoir mes deux lits alors que …. - Ce B&B m’offrait la possibilité de réserver une chambre avec 2 lits, ce que j’ai fait. Lorsque je suis arrivée, le propriétaire pressé au téléphone m’a dit que ce n’était pas possible alors qu’après obstination la femme de ménage a tout simplement ajouté des draps au lit simple déjà aménagé dans la chambre que j’avais réservée. C’est quoi le problème en Italie (car cela m’est arrivée 3 fois) de ne plus m’offrir la chambre à deux lits? C’est trop forçant pour la femme de ménage de préparer 2 lits au lieu de un seul ? Si vous ne voulez pas, chers propriétaires, louer des chambres à lits simples, ne les offrez pas. Les escaliers pour se rendre à la chambre sont très étroits et dangereux.

• I.K.A. (10/5): - Uitstekende locatie, uitzicht op de haven en kasteel.Om de hoek direct de oude historische binnenstad. De kamers ensuite zijn erg mooi gerestaureerd en smaakvol ingericht. Alles is schoon. Het tweede bed is echter een sofabed en zeer smal , eigenlijk alleen geschikt voor een kind. Contact met Toni, de eigenaar alleen via whatsapp, snel , vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Geen ontbijt , maar er is een waterkoker, crackers , koekjes en snacks . Er zijn veel cafe restaurantjes in de directe omgeving voor een ontbijt.Zeer ,zeer tevreden . Zeker aanbevolen.

Some crackers and jam. Light fittings wobbly on wall and shower area not super clean. Overall satisfactory . Great sized room. No clean towels or cleaning service .. we stayed 5 nights. Had to message owner for toilet rolls. 1 cleaning visit, emptying bins, topping up tea bags, towels etc would have sorted it. Very noisy at night from park but managed to sleep through . No door onto bathroom..

• Jan (10/5): Schöner Aufenthalt in der Altstadt - Sehr einfacher und praktischer Check-in. Ein sehr schönes und großes Zimmer in einem historischem Haus mit allem was man benötigt. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Die wichtigsten Dinge in Bari sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Für alles andere gibt es den Bus.

Communication with him was excellent throughout our stay. He constantly ensured that everything was okay and frequently checked if we needed anything. One evening, we encountered a small issue with the air conditioning, but the host promptly intervened and resolved the situation immediately, ensuring our comfort. I wholeheartedly and confidently recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a relaxing and worry-free experience. We will definitely return!
• Niltuna (9/5): Great location, very clean and nicest host - Great location at the center of the Old Town. We walked everywhere and did not need to take a bus etc. We could get in touch with Tonio a day before our arrival and he was very helpful on how to get to the apartment. He responded every one of our questions very fastly and explicatively. The room was bigger than I thought and very clean. Honestly I was expecting it to be smaller but I was surprised when I saw it. Bathroom has no door: it is separated by a curtain from the rest of the room. So, it can be a little bit problem if you're not the only person staying in the room :) And it was very noisy at night. I could hardly sleep because of all the motorcycle noises and sounds of people.

• Sheila (10/5): Excellent stay in Bari - I only stayed one night and it was a very good experience. Excellent location for old town. Several nice provisions ,tea,coffee and biscuits etc left. I thought it may have been noisy but with the window shut it was silent. They were only 2 coat hangers which for one night wasn't a problem but for a longer stay could be. I would definitely book this again. Thank you.

There was a parking lot just outside which meant we could park the rented car easily. Air conditioning was very useful this time of year, we were able to sleep soundly :). We did not mind, but the stairs were steep 🆙😁💪🏻 For anyone who doen’t like narrow, steep staircases, or has large suitcases, this could be useful information 😃

Azért választottam ezt a szállást, mert tengerre néző szobát ígártek. A visszaigazolásban is tengerre néző van. Megérkezésünk után tapasztaltuk hogy nem azt kaptuk. Jeleztük a tulajnak, ő visszajelzett hogy a tengerre nézőt már kiadta. Csalódottak vagyunk, mert hasonló minőségű szállást ennek az árnak a töredékkért tudtunk volna bérelni. A problémát jeleztem a hotels.com-nak. Eddig a bookingon foglaltam, nem volt vele problémám, itt a hotrls.com-on ez volt az első foglalásom és valószínűleg az utolsó is...

• Stephen (10/5): Charming B&B with equally charming owner - Great B&B, smashing location in the old town. The owner, Antonio, was super welcoming and flexible. Decor is lovely, has everything you need.

A few small issues. - First of all, the location of the hotel is fantastic, in the old town, next to St Nicholas church and the Cathedral, within a short walk of several good restaurants. The room we stayed in was spacious, well decorated and comfortable. A couple of issues which did not spoil our night. The shower was not powerful. The noise from the playground outside the hotel was very loud but stops before bedtime . The inclusive breakfast which is in a cafe next to the hotel includes only 1 cup of coffee per person. We were charged for the second cup.
• june (4/5): No joy in dirty tiny noisy room - Having stayed at six hotels in Italy and loving nearly all of them, this was the worst experience in Italy. The room was dirty TINY and noisy. The toilet lid was covered with thick dust, what looked like faeces in the toilet bowl. Leaves on the floor. A rusty bench top. Meagre toiletries. Food stains in fridge. Bench tops not wiped. A large family camped outside the room's glass doors yelling, arguing, children crying from breakfast to midnight. Not restful!! No safebox as advertised. No daily cleaning. No cup or spoon to match the kettle. No map or guide to the area. Breakfast was allocated in a cafe some metres away and consisted of 1 hot drink and pastry. I had made a silly mistake and got off my train at the wrong stop and so was 2hrs late to meet the owner. He was angry and didn't take much time to explain things. I understand being angry but he could have understood that if you don't have the language then sometimes mistakes do happen. He could have used the 2hrs to check on cleanliness and cleaned up the dirty communal areas .

• Heather (8/5): Small, convenient, clean and just fine. - This tiny B&B has a steep staircase as only access to the 2 rooms, one is up one flight, one is up two. Both rooms, although small, are nice with fine bathroom, lots of windows in a busy corner of the city. The owner is extremely helpful; met us at the information center and walked with our bags about 5 minutes to the place and ordered an early morning taxi for us -- all worked great!
• Elena (8/5): Camera graziosa nel centro storico di Bari. - Camera molto ampia, ben arredata, tranquilla e luminosa, a due passi dalla Cattedrale e da ottimo ristorante di pesce Il Pescatore. Dotata di tutti i confort, incluso un terzo letto. Il responsabile è stato gentilissimo e molto premuroso. La stanza è al secondo piano e non è adatta a chi fa fatica a salire le scale. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. La consiglierei certamente.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Great location. - Great BnB on edge of old town. We stayed in the Audrey Hepburn room, which was a spacious two room, plus bathroom 'suite'with a balcony. The host Antonio, was very welcoming and gave us a quick tour if the nearby area to orientate us. We were the only guests at this time in low season, and once you have your keys, you don't see the manager again. You can call if you require anything. Our room was on the second floor up narrow, steep steps - only suitable for small to medium size suitcases. Antonio assisted with our bags on arrival. If stairs are not easy for you, request the ground floor room. Room was quiet, bed comfy and good bathroom. Typical light Italian breakfast provided in nearby cafe.

• Karin (8/5): Charmigt B&B med perfekt läge - Mycket fint B&B med perfekt läge i centro storico. Italiensk frukost, cafe’ och cornetto, intas på ett kaffe i närheten. Ägaren bor inte i huset själv men är väldigt hjälpsam med att svara på frågo o önskemål. Rummet var kallt när vi checkade in och med endast air condition (varmluft) så tog det tid att värma upp rummet. Wifi fungerade dåligt, för svag signal.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Petit déjeuner très insuffisant ! - L'accueil de notre hôte a été très agréable et chaleureux, il a pris le temps de nous montrer les environs et de nous donner quelques pistes de visites. La chambre est grande et très agréable, mais plusieurs points de propreté sont à revoir, en particulier dans la salle de bain, c'est dommage. Le petit déjeuner n'est pas servi dans la maison mais doit être pris au café du coin, un café et un croissant c'est très insuffisant et ce n'est pas ce que l'on attend en chambre d'hôtes.

• John (10/5): Stylish facility. Great location. Great hosts. - This is a super hotel for visiting Bari - particularly the old town. The room is very stylish and a lovely place to chill. We found the bed very comfortable and the bathroom facilities very pleasing indeed. The hosts could not be more hospitable. There was a little 'life noise' down at street level in the late evening - but exactly to be expected given its location right at the heart of old town Bari.
