- Lupuseli (10/5): -

Restaurant italien excellent.
- Emiel (9/5): -
- Paula (8/5): - Location. They let us book in early so that we could park the car and walk into the centre. Nothing
- Josephine (10/5): Suits me - I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Cambridge.. - Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Excellent location, with a free car park. Wide choice at breakfast. First class coffee and very tasty bacon! Comfortable room, with slightly quirky decor. A nice little Italian restaurant on site is an added bonus. Shower temperature difficult to control, but I reported this on checkout and the receptionist said they would see to it.
- Susan (6/5): - Welcome Breakfast was good Bed was so small
- William (6/5): -
- Thomas (3/5): - Location Shower not possible to stand up in properly! Room dated and not clean
- ODDJOB23 (8/5): All as expected from previous stay - All good .
- Eva (5/5): -
- Margaret (5/5): Didn't sleep well - Friendly and warm welcome on arrival and at breakfast. Cooked breakfast was nice. Slept badly as there was a lot of noise around the room, creaky floor boards from people walking by (even at 1am), and from above. The shower took a long time to warm up in the morning. Left feeling exhausted rather than refreshed.
- Martindale (8/5): -
- rory (10/5): Enjoyed my stay - Great car parking
- Sue (8/5): Lovely, friendly hotel with beautiful reminders of Sorrento, and great Italian restaurant on site - Lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly, Breakfast included and good. Evening meal in the restaurant was great and really convenient after a day's sightseeing. Nice walk into the centre but also a bus stop just outside. Shower was not too good, not very strong and very small space.
- White (9/5): - The room was spotless and quiet. Everything worked.
The staff at check in were helpful and welcoming.
The staff at breakfast were helpful and friendly. Nothing - I would certainly stay there again
- Birgit (8/5): - friendly staff, good breakfast, parking lot, well located for the Cambridge Junction small bathroom, shower with a curtain, no spare toilet paper, hard to switch off the heating behind the desk
- Karen (7/5): A friendly budget hotel - Staff friendly and helpful. Room was ok - a little dated but bedding and towels were lovely. Lovely selection for breakfast.
Restaurant food was lovely - would highly recommend having dinner there.
Free parking. Took us about 30/40 mins to walk into the centre but uber's were cheap and it was also on a bus route. The bed was awful - was sunk in the middle. We didn't get back to our room until very late or we would've said something earlier. The extractor fan from the kitchen downstairs could be heard in our room so we were woken up early.

- Martin (9/5): -
- Christina (9/5): A worthwhile stay, would definitely return - Friendly, helpful, welcoming staff and owners Not sure whether bathroom floor had been hoovered properly as there were residual leftovers from predecessors of from cleaning staff. Not s major thing, yet I would not really expect that.
- Camilo (4/5): - Location

- Cecelia (10/5): A gem of a hotel a little way out of Cambridge which ticked every box for me - I stayed at this hotel in 2019 before lockdown, so I chose it again because I remembered it was lovely. It’s a hotel that’s been run by the same family for years and years and what a lovely family they are, two brothers and a sister. They couldn’t have been kinder to me, everything I asked was seen to, plus Maria, the sister, was so helpful in terms of how to get to various places I wanted to visit, what to look out for, what places were must-sees. I had some lovely chats with her too, she is super friendly.
The room was small but totally adequate for me on my own. The bed was very comfortable, breakfast was nice, the bathroom had everything needed. The hotel is on a main bus route into Cambridge which was super convenient and was also really convenient for Grantchester which is a mere couple of miles away. Finally, it has a spacious car park. Thank you so much to the whole family x I can’t say I disliked anything, although the wifi was a bit temperamental but that wasn’t a game changer in any way.
- Tracey (10/5): Always a pleasant stay - Always welcoming and comfortable No dislikes but would love to have bigger cups for tea and coffee facilities in the rooms
- Mary (10/5): -
- matsuura (9/5): シャワーが強いともっと良い! - ロケーションは良かった。バス停の目の前で便利で、周りにもレストランや食品店もあり困らない。 シャワーが弱すぎる。ほとんど出てこないのには困った。
- Olha (10/5): -
- Beverley (9/5): Excellent for what I needed -close to Papworth - Good location , parking , late check in available Staff were very helpful and flexible Nothing really , window lock on my first room was faulty and it was ground floor but staff dealt with it.
- Stephen (9/5): Worth a return visit! - My second stay here - it is very convenient for visiting Cambridge by car, since parking is available and there is frequent public transport to the city centre. Staff are very helpful and facilities are comfortable.
- Jo (8/5): Spacious rooms, friendly, lovely breakfast - Great rooms, clean and very spacious
Lovely breakfast, great choice and value Shower pressure quite poor but not a big issue
- zhang (4/5): -
- Catherine (8/5): I will definitely come back. - The friendly staff and the very comfortable bed. It was a bit of a walk to the centre of the city.
- Shah (8/5): -
- Emma (10/5): 10/10 - Excellent family run hotel. We were staying following an emergency admission to Papworth hospital for my mum and the staff were so helpful. Very comfy beds, top quality food and good location. We have decided to use as our base over the next few weeks whilst mum is in hospital but we will definitely be back for a leisure stay too !
- Curror (9/5): - Nice clean hotel, comfy bed
- Lupuseli (7/5): - Nice room and breakfast, good location, has parking Showers were weak and cold, took ages to get warm
- Mark (8/5): - Great location, can walk to to Cambridge station in 20 mins with free parking. Evening meal in the Italian restaurant was fantastic too stronger wifi needed
- Marion (9/5): -
- Prayag (10/5): Great overall - I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the bedroom and bathroom- bigger than I expected. Very clean . Great variety for breakfast. Perfect location walking distance from train station. Water pressure from shower
- Ana Luiza (8/5): -
- White (10/5): - Close to addensbroke hospital, friendly and free parking
- Angela &Svend-Erik (8/5): -
- DEIRDRE (10/5): Very good value in a good location. Would use again - It was a little out of town but right by a bus stop.
Family run and they were very helpful. Shower did not have very good pressure but it did the job.
- Atena (10/5): -
- Andrew (9/5): Lovely staff and comfortable - The room was tidy and a decent size. The bubble bath and sauna in the room were very good facilities to have for not a lot extra. The room was quite loud as it was attached to the alley for the back exit of the building and also next to the customer toilet for the restaurant so you could hear a lot of other customers noise.
- Guest (9/5): -
- wills404 (9/5): Friendly, good location and clean. - The room was comfortable and clean and had plenty of drawers space and a nice big wardrobe. The television was big and had brilliant reception, also WiFi was good. The breakfast had plenty of choice and nothing was too much trouble, if there wasn't enough bacon, mushrooms etc. left then they would cook more fresh for you. The property was near to a bus stop so getting in and out of Cambridge was simple, (bus no. 3) we didn't have to use our car at all. There was a large carpark at the property which had CCTV. Also there was a Post Office maybe a hundred yards away so excellent for buying a morning paper. The restaurant at the property was lovely but be warned the pizzas are big!! we loved them. All the staff throughout were friendly and welcoming. Sometimes you could hear guests and their television in the other room but it wasn't a major problem for us and besides which other guests might have hearing problems...who's to say! so it didn't have any major impact on the enjoyment of our stay.
- Anthony (7/5): -
- Jason (6/5): - Bed was confrmy and good location Room very run down, lots of mold in the bathroom and in the toilet. Very dated.
- Karen (10/5): - I love staying here every time I come to Cambridge. I always feel so welcome
- Dylan (9/5): - The beds were amazing and the food was lovely and the breakfast was really nice
- Rhodri (7/5): Comfortable hotel. Good value for money. - Good location. Friendly staff. Made extra breakfast items for me. Nothing
- Jessic (9/5): -
- Ian (9/5): Ideal location clean and comfortable - Location Nothing not to dislike
- Peter (7/5): A simple but pleasant stay with great food, perfect parking and at walking distance from the center. - We chose this small hotel because of the free parking and only half an hour walk from the center. The Italian restaurant at the hotel was an extra bonus(and delicious). Breakfast was simple and one could order eggs "your style" - excellent. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were partly renovated and the bathroom still had an integrated shower in the bath tub. The shower was the biggest let down of the room.
- Richard (9/5): -
- Terence (10/5): -
- Liz (8/5): - Clean and comfortable Nothing
- Ekaterina (8/5): - Location is perfect, car parking on site There was not noise cancellation
- Jamie (8/5): -
- Ayodeji (8/5): - Very nice staff, comfortable room
- Nadine (10/5): - Breakfast was taken very late in the room as recovering from eye op. Staff were very accommodating and gave us a later check out
- Rosemary (10/5): The staff were exceptional - they did everything they could to make our stay special - Homely, spotless, relaxing N/a
- Virginija (9/5): - Personalas puikus, puikiai bendravo.
- Christine (9/5): - Great to have the restaurant attached.
- Katarzyna (10/5): A tad of Amalfi Cost in the heart of Cambridge - The best coffee in Cambridge. I kid you not. Very friendly and helpful staff.
- grant (9/5): -
- Helen (8/5): Clean, comfortable, friendly and convenient and great value for money - Breakfast was great with lots of choices and excellent coffee. The staff were very welcoming. The location was perfect for us being a short walk from the college we were visiting. (Homerton) and an easy walk and or bus ride to the city. Free onsite parking. Our only issue - The heating was on full blast when we arrived and it was a very hot day and although we could turn off the radiator in the room and open the windows we were unable to do that in the bathroom so the bathroom was really too warm.
- James (10/5): Fantastic night, with an amazing room! - The room price included a sauna and hot tub bath. It was amazing. The staff were very friendly, couldn't be more accommodating. The breakfast was delicious too. The only downside is that it's not in the city centre, but a taxi for less than £10 could get you right into the centre. The directions to use the sauna could have been slightly more clear because you can't see the dial digits until the sauna is on.
- Mary (9/5): Good clean, value for money hotel near Cambridge town centre - Parking, breakfast , staff, on a bus route straight to cambridge
- jamie (7/5): -
- Tom Keeper (8/5): -
- Patricia (7/5): - Staff very pleasant .Good price. Excellent for Addenbrooke's hospital. Free parking. Certainly happy to stay there again At 9a.m they had run out of some breakfast things but when I asked things were replenished.
Hooks on bathroom door would have been good.
- Beverley (9/5): - Close to PAPWORTH , car parking , very clean
- valesca (10/5): Couldn’t have been better looked after. Great staff. Friendly, attentive and seemed to really care about their customers - Cosy, friendly, great access, parking
- Ian (10/5): -
- GARY (10/5): Excellent! - Lovely hotel, staff polite and extremely helpful. Will return again in the future. Great breakfast! There was nothing i didn't like.
- Shani (9/5): - Excellent location.
Clean, comfortable room.
Restaurant good.
- Ryan (9/5): Amazing and would stay again. - Very friendly staff and felt the Italian culture as soon as we walked into the hotel. Food was delicious too. The room we stayed in was a bit dated but non the less others will love this.
- Debra (7/5): -
- Hilmar (3/5): Quick check-in, horrible check-out - Quick check in, room was fine Had to rush out in the morning to go to the hospital and forgot to checkout, the employee ran outside to stop my car and was mad at me for not checking out properly and not telling them I was skipping breakfast. Why would I tell anyone about breakfast in the first place? Either I show up or not, even when not checked out. Also I was fully paid up online, you could've seen I was gone when cleaning the room and that would've been it, and in any case you had my phone and email for any follow ups. I found this ridiculous.
- John (9/5): Great stay - Great, friendly staff
Comfy bed
Good breakfast choice
- Michael (7/5): Met my needs as my wife was in Addenbrooke's hospital and hotel was only 5 minutes away - Bedroom was a double which was an unexpected bonus as I had booked a single Shower was very poor in regard to flow - no more than a very light spray - also took a very long time to get hot
- Branko (10/5): all OK - breakfast, room, bed no comments
- christopher (10/5): -
- Courtney (9/5): - Excellent service and breakfast, very kind staff Room could have been a little cleaner, not sure they vacuumed
- Christina (10/5): A Gem of a Hotel to which we look forward to Returning - The hotel was spotlessly clean, bright and comfortable. That my request for a bath was possible, so that I could soak after a day's walking, was wonderful. Every single staff member was exceptional being welcoming, friendly, helpful and attentive. Rarely do you find such professionalism and commitment. Breakfasts were a delight, an array of cereals and cold platter with a cooked breakfast to follow, the best poached eggs I've had for ages! We loved that this was an independent family run restaurant and enjoyed the authentic and tasteful Italian vibe. We enjoyed the location of the hotel; enabling us to walk to the Botanic Gardens via Bateman Road and in the opposite direction to Mill Road with its multitude of independent cafes and restaurants. Throughout our stay we were assisted by reception (Elliot) who gave us directions and help whenever needed. We also enjoyed the local stores and cafes in close proximity to the hotel. We didn't have the opportunity to try the restaurant at the hotel but we understand its pizza's are exceptional and we look forward to our return in order to sample these! Thank you to the team at the hotel you were great and to Raf in particular, for helping us with our car!
- Nicola (10/5): Ideal location for us as we were going to see a band at the Cambridge junction and it was only a 10 minute walk away👍 - Lovely family run hotel all really friendly too
Location was perfect for us too
Breakfast was wonderful too with a lovely selection of food and everything was outstanding
My husband loved seeing the scooters in the hotel
Would definitely stay again! Nothing

- Matthew (6/5): -
- ciccarelli (10/5): - Perfect location 2 mn walking from bus stop.
Very quiet. Clean and tidy. Very friendly staff. Made us feel very welcome. Lovely breakfast. We are happy we have chosen Sorrento for our stay in Cambridge
- Priya (8/5): -
- RichardC (8/5): -
- Gemma (8/5): - Lovely hotel, helpful staff and nice breakfast The shower in our room was terrible and the wifi wasn't great.
- Robinson (8/5): - Really lovely staff and good price considering it’s only a 10 minute bus from the city centre! Mattress was a bit springy but still slept well.
