• Yussef (2/5): - Unfortunately, my stay at Résidence Le Consul was disappointing. The room had a serious cleanliness issue — I found a bedbugs inside the room, and worse, I woke up with bites on my neck and legs, which was alarming and unacceptable. Additionally, the air conditioning was barely working, making the room very hot and uncomfortable, especially during the night. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and quality. Also, the staff were kind, helpful, and welcoming, which I appreciated. Overall, the comfort and hygiene of the room need urgent improvement.

It's walkable to the Bourgiba street and Medina, it's also an easy cab ride to La Marsa. It's close to a grocery store, food, and even sports bars.

• Gavin (8/5): - Very clean and tidy, TV received BBC news, close proximity to cprner shop for food, wine and beer. 24hr concierge. 20 minutes from the airport and easy, low cost taxi pickup avaiable at 0430. Only downside we encountered: wobbly shower mount and bath drain.

Dommage pas de fer à repasser, pas de sèche-cheveux, pas de cotons tige ou essuyé la chaussure. Petit juste moyen, il avait du yaourt, des omelettes, oeuf dur, fromage, chekchouka, croissant et petit pain, jus industriel et eau, dommage pour le café pas bon du tout. Satisfait pour le prix payé

Nothing fancy here, a big intersection outside your window, and the cleaning leaves a little to be desired. The location is great (30 minute cab to la Marsa, a mile or two from the Medina) good food, nice sports bar, and a grocery store nearby. (Grocery store sells alcohol!). If you want a private room to relax in that won’t break the bank, great spot!

Staff is very helpful and friendly, rooms are clean and nice , breakfast is fine, taxis are available all the time.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Be careful in the car park; almost broke my ankle - We had a lovely stay - the staff/ service was excellent and very efficient during check in. However the next morning I fell through the drain in the car park due to a bar missing on the grill and almost broke my ankle/leg. Luckily I didn't break anything but I was in immense pain for my flight home (they did bring me a bag of ice and did as much as they could). This would have been a travesty as I was on my way to the airport for my flight home and this is something that should be fixed ASAP so it doesn't happen again as it could have been much much worse!

• Dan (10/5): Incredible hospitality in a beautiful hotel - I arrived after a 22hr ferry ride and was welcomed with open arms. They help me unload my motorcycle park it in there garage and exchange my euros to dinar. Suggest a place to eat. The next day on check out they even found a place to help me change my motorcycle tire. Actually help is understatement one of the workers rode his bicycle as I followed on my motorcycle to show me the way negotiate the price and translate for me. Totally went above and beyond anything I could of ask for. Thank you all so much you all are incredible.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - What impressed the most was the the efficiency and the immediate response to the customers needs by the staff, the location is great many decent restaurants are close by, major landmarks and touristic sites are nearby as for the hotel it's a business type of a hotel, rooms and the bathroom are spacious and clean, on the downside the refrigerator is useless even on the lowest settings, breakfast is mediocre. All in all I would recommend.

The area was great as plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby, the souk in Medina was not far either, overall a great stay.

I travel regularly to Tunis, and have stayed in a variety of 3, 4 and 5 star hotels all over the capital. This is an excellent 3 star hotel, with a decent room size, clean with air-conditioning and great location. Sound insulation is very good also. I would definitely stay again. Thank you for a comfortable break in Tunis.
