Guest Reviews
- Donald (9/5): Unquie - Breakfast was perfect all around Pool should be heated with no afternoon sun
- Alex (10/5): Perfection - The solarium and pool area were breathtaking, we could have hung out in this area all day. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, particularly David who was a bartender/server by the pool. Breakfast was delicious every morning and we had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant with a beautiful view on the last night of our stay. This was the perfect, picturesque and relaxing end to our time in Italy. Nothing
- Simon (9/5): Pleasant, enjoyable and fun! - Location, staff, facilities Breakfast was good but not great.
- Anton (10/5): - The facilities, staff, and overall quality is exceptional. I don't know why this is not rated 5 stars.
Good for those who book it, you will get a 5 star experience at a 4 star price. Absolutely nothing.
- Kevin (10/5): Stunning views, helpful and extremely friendly staff. - The breakfast was fantastic. A large variety of choices from any kind of eggs to home made yogurt with all the fixings.
The location was in the dining room overlooking the incredible coastline. Stunning. The traffic along the coastline is quite scary. Narrow with lots of speeding cars, motorcycle and scooters. Not much can be done as there is no room for expansion.
- John (10/5): This was the best hotel on a multiple city tour. No reason to ever leave. - Fantastic. Every thing I could have wanted was there. The view from our spacious room, and balcony, was spectacular. The Neapolitan pastries were fantastic at breakfast. The restaurant was quiet, the ambience was romantic and the food was terrific. I wouldn’t change a thing.

- Keski-Nisula (10/5): Täydellinen paikka rentoutua - Kaunis hotelli, upea maisema. Täydellinen paikka rentoutumiseen. Maistuva monipuolinen aamiainen.

- Diane (10/5): - Just a beautiful property. The views are incredible. Very clean. Great good. Can't wait to come back next year!
- Yan (10/5): A hidden gem - Everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel itself is stunning, beautifully designed, peaceful, and full of character. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the impeccable service.
We couldn’t believe how much of a hidden gem this place is. It felt like a peaceful oasis in the heart of the Amalfi Coast. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and already planning our return.
- Mickaël (7/5): -
- Browne (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely beautiful!!!
- Tyler (9/5): Great facility, but some of the staff were rude and uninitiated - It was in a great location. Our room had a balcony with a fantastic view. The room was clean as was the rest of the hotel. The food was very good as was the service. The hotel is not touristy but it is easy to get other towns near by. There also a super fun restaurant/day club below the hotel. The only issue was that the hotel staff was trying to charge us an extra 180 euros for transportation because our flight was late even though we tipped our driver 80 euros. We gave the 12 hours notice but the hotel demanded the extra payment even though we were supposed to pay the driver, who told us to pay the hotel. After an hour of disputing the charge with the receptionist, Lina, she then said that they would have to charge us an extra $70 euros because our pick up time was after 10pm. I finally had to speak with her boss who told us we didn’t have to pay it as Lina was incorrect. Lina was also very rude to us. It kind of put a damper on the whole stay as we did not get it resolved until checkout.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Noonan (10/5): Wonderful day would love to be able to do it again! - Everyone Pool could’ve been bigger, but no issue
- Gary (9/5): Superb -
- Lisa (10/5): - LOVED the location. Positano was so busy this time of year so we had our own oasis here and easy to get the water taxi and other forms of transportation to meet with our group. We had a relaxing time and were lucky to have found this gem in the chaos of the Amalfi Coast in June!
- Bruna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eve (10/5): Magnificent! - Superb location in a superb town. Easy to get to beach, pool and transport. Incredibly helpful staff. Gorgeous building with clean, well serviced rooms. Lovely pool and lovely views from anywhere you go in the hotel. Nothing!
- Ryan (10/5): Would highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed. - Perfect location. Attentive staff. Great amenities and facilities. Nothing.
- Soeurette (8/5): Very good -
- Genevie (6/5): - The property and room was great. The staff on the other hand was not. The only genuine and friendly staff was the pool boy and bellhop. The front desk and rest of the restaurant/hotel staff was not nice. Our stay we felt like we were profiled for our age and gender. The staff questioned us every time we left our room asking for our room number after we had been staying there for multiple days. We noticed we were not treated the same as older age and white guests. The staff was very dismissive and condescending if we asked any questions or voiced any concerns with our room. The hotel location and room was great. The restaurant is overpriced and you can get better food and friendlier service right next door and down the road.
Long story short stay for the location and do not expect to have any friendly or genuine staff interactions.
- Nelesh (10/5): Just perfect I will dream of going again - Simply amazing. Free parking as well. Dinner could have been better.
- Itay (9/5): Superb -
- Silvestar (10/5): Sublime! - Extraordinary location, friendly and professional staff, exquisite breakfast, absolute perfection!
- Erin (9/5): Beautiful stay in Praiano - The view from our patio was truly magical. The room was very clean, comfortable and had everything we could need. Staff was helpful and welcoming. Luca by the pool bar was really fun and took good care of us on our stay.
We had dinner our first night in at Franchino's and it was good. We loved that you could walk to several other near by restaurants and felt we had plenty of great options.
There is no town close by. A coffee shop and little store are not far if you need to pick up essentials. This hotel is away from downtown Praiano (which is also very small) For us this worked great. We visited Positano and Amalfi and were glad we stayed in a less busy area to absorb the beauty. Water taxi's worked great for visiting neighboring towns. Nothing! I guess if I could be picky, breakfast could have run a little longer and stayed fresher if you arrived pass the opening hour. But honestly, with that view...who cares! Coffee didn't get replaced that last couple days in our room, but that just motivated me to get dressed and go to breakfast.
- Roman (10/5): - Beautiful hotel!! Amazing grounds and very friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing!!! The views are the BEST!!!! Will stay again!!!

- Crystal (9/5): Superb -
- Nigel (10/5): Amazing visit to Onda Verde and the Amalfi coast will certainly go back - Stunning hotel - amazing location perfect for Amalfi coast exploring.
Boat access and beach within 5 mins walk Nothing
- Ammarah (10/5): Unbelievable stay and exceptional service - Everything
- Lisa (6/5): Nice hotel, but unfriendly staff. - The design of the hotel, both inside and outside, is beautiful. You have a breathtaking view over the sea and a bay is within walking distance. The car park is practical. As is the hotel's lift, which saves a few steps. Visually, the hotel is a 10 out of 10! Everything was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good (fresh orange juice and good coffee)! The service in the hotel did not match the price. There was no sense of hospitality. You got the feeling from all the staff that no one wanted to do their job and were generally annoyed by hotel guests. Only the cleaning lady was friendly and extremely competent. If you want to play in this price range, then you should train your staff accordingly in hotel conventions and good service. We also found it inappropriate that you are forced (!) to hand in your car keys. The pool only opens at 10am, which is also unacceptable as the hotel does not have a private beach. You don't even get towels before that. There are no toilets by the pool. The price-performance ratio is not right here.
- Riccardo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Murat (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carrie (10/5): - Gorgeous property, our room was on the water with a beautiful balcony, the pool was nice and plenty of sun chairs, great food at the Pirata Restaurant where we dined on the water, very romantic
- Beko1 (10/5): Exceptional - position, parking, view, service, restaurant
- Natalia (6/5): Great views from the balcony. Besides that not much else, a very stretched 3star rating for anything else. -
- Fadi (10/5): - Amazing place and it’s a 10/10 best ever hotel. The view is amazing, service and clean, friendly staff.
- Sam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claudine (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely beautiful and unique property and room. The location was secluded and fabulous as were the views.

- Sheryl (10/5): - Beautiful and the views are amazing
- Lyn (9/5): Superb - I loved we could be away from the crowds. Enjoyed the lovely restaurant and others near by. Lovely room with great view. Easy walk to swim 🏊‍♀️ n ocean or pool. Think it was too expensive for what we paid.
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tania (10/5): Exceptional - the location is perfect, they have a beach very close to the hotel and a two goods restaurants
- Francisco (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chelsey (10/5): - The staff is so lovely. Small boutique hotel. They take care of anything you ever ask for. Breakfast is good. Their pastry chef is fantastic! The view is breathtaking and thank god it’s not in Positano. Would love to go again.
- Lisa (8/5): Excellent hotel. - Character. Vibe. Friendly staff. Artistic design. Historic building. Proximity to water. Views. Quieter stretch of the coast. Great Restaurant. A bit too expensive. Restaurant didn’t cater for vegetarian. Didn’t know what to do in the surrounding areas once we were at the hotel. Perhaps a booklet in the room with suggested local things to do.
- Stem (10/5): Amazing and beautiful and we love it!!! - What an amazing beautiful and gorgeous place to stay!!!!! Amazing staff!!! They were kind and accommodating any requests we had! Breathing views!!! We love it!!!!
- Herbert (10/5): Wonderful ***** - We had the best stay here, and couldnt ask for more. The hotel room was spacious with beautiful view, the breakfast was amazing and we would def return.
- Chris (10/5): - Beautiful location and amenities, we had a very relaxing stay hotel was clean and quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful.
- Shaveena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Huber (10/5): Excellent stay. Just what we were looking for. Beautiful setting and accommodations - Beautiful facilities and location. The breakfast was lovely and abundant. All the staff were friendly and very accommodating/helpful.
Our dinner at Franchino's was wonderful. Time there too short :)
- Lucas (10/5): - We had such a great time here. The property is right next to the beach. Easy access to water taxis. Lots of great food. Views were excellent. We can’t wait to go back!
- Paul (10/5): - We love how the hotel was part of the cave/rock. How unique!! It has a nice pool and eating restaurant. The view is fantastic and we enjoyed our balcony sea view. Also, we loved the breakfast!! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
- Abilash (10/5): - Wow! The view from this hotel and our room was amazing! Definitely recommend staying here vs any of the bigger towns like Amalfi or Positano. It was easy to get to. Bus stop is near the entrance both ways. Pool was great, the restaurant was good but I recommend Armando's by the beach. The food there was delicious. My wife and I absolutely loved this place. The staff was amazing
- Jacqueline (10/5): A magnificent villa. The photos don’t do it justice. It’s even more remarkable in person - everything! absolutely perfect
- Anonymous (10/5): Our stay here definitely wasn’t long enough. The location was perfect, Restuarant was amazing 10/10. - location was perfect nothing
- Christopher (7/5): Good -
- Richard (10/5): Outstanding Value and 5-Star Luxury Away from the Crowds - Villa Corallium is family business, with family working on-site, and they really aim to please. They could not be more gracious or accommodating. The breakfast is over-the-top with something for everyone, taking 10 tables to display! The assortment of freshly baked high-end pastries, fruit selection, juices, vegetables, cheeses, meats, eggs, breads, oh my! It is the best breakfast buffet I have ever had. Choose from coffee Americano, espresso or cappuccino. The quality is all outstanding. And this typifies Villa Corallium -- attention to detail, luxury and quality are standard here. The staff is warm, knowledgeable, and helpful. I am surprised it is not a 5-star rated resort. Free parking if you happen to come by car as we did. The panoramic, breathtaking views from the all-glass facade of the restaurant and reception area are amazing. The balcony off our room with stunning views was really special.
Being in the town next to Positano was special because it was a quiet respite from the crowds of Positano. We also drove to Amalfil several times, and on to Pompei for a tour. Not one thing. Quality and service abound.
- Cheryl (10/5): - So glad we stayed at this beautiful hotel rather than crowded and noisy Positano!
- Laurence (9/5): Amazing place, in a great quiet location! - A very memorable spot with amazing views! Loved our stay and the staff were amazing. The breakfast was phenomenal, and the morning sunrise was gorgeous. Would happily stay here again. A shame the premium room we booked didnt have an actual queen/king bed, and was two large singles together.
- Adriana (10/5): Highly recommended! - Amazing breakfast. I was impressed by the kindness of the whole staff. The location was perfect, right beside the beach!
- Florian (7/5): Good - The location, the view, the staff and the restaurant acoustic is very bad, beds and pillows aren't too comfortable, cleaners not replacing missing rooms items everyday, pool facility could be better
- James (9/5): Superb -
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional - the staff and location. rated as a 3 star but I would give 2 thumbs up and 5 stars.
- Stefan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robbie (9/5): Superb -
- Hunter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aleksandra (8/5): Very good -
- Diego (9/5): Superb - The Hotel is real nice.

- Peter (10/5): Bra hotell och trevlig personal - Hotellet har ett mkt bra läge och trevlig personal.
- Orville (9/5): Superb - Location - Fantastic
Food - Amazing

I have nothing but good things to say highly recommend staying here!!
- Dina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emarie (9/5): WOW! What a magical place. The views are incredible! - The location was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The food at the restaurant was very expensive and not so great.
- Salama (10/5): This resort made a complete impact on the whole Amalfi coast experience beyond expectations. - Breakfast was amazing, view was breath taking. Each staff member deserves individual recognition for exceptional personal attention...we travel often and WILL return here. Exceeded all expectations.
- Patrick (10/5): This is my second stay here over the past 5 years. It always an enjoyable stay - The breakfast was good but it was the same everyday. It would be nice to have a coffee machine or expresso in your room . It’s nice to be able to have a coffee or expresso without trying to get someone to make it for you .
- Jaclyn (10/5): Amazing, quiet stay on Amalfi coast - So beautiful!!
- Leslie (10/5): - We loved Villa Corallium. My daughter stayed 3 years ago and recommended and we just fell in love with Priano. The boats were easy to get to and book. Beautiful rooms and staff could not have been more accommodating!!! We will be back!!!
- Mark (4/5): - There is no doubt the location and hotel itself are beautiful, but unfortunately for us the house staff made our stay very disappointing overall. We had a number of interactions with staff that left us with the impression that our presence was an inconvenience to them as communicated by their rude, passive aggressive behaviour. I would encourage those considering staying at this hotel to consider how much they value a welcoming, friendly environment because if so this may not be the hotel for you (especially considering the many alternatives along Amalfi coast)
