Guest Reviews
- Jan (8/5): Nice site - Lodge was nice and clean we got upgraded.staff friendly and helpful site nicely kept clean and tidy .
- PETER (10/5): - Very Clean, beautiful location.
- Jessica (4/5): Unpleasant and mouldy - Firstly this was my second stay and I was not offered a free room upgrade as they advertise for their rewards plan. Upon arrival we was checking in and the guy at the desk told us the keys are in the door, we went around to the small building and there was no keys, the maintenance man (who was very nice) had to come and climb into the window, whilst he was doing this we realised the bench at the front of the cabin was completely disintegrating. We went into the building and the smell was absolutely awful. I had a 6 month old baby and the smell of mold was unbearable. The bottom of the shower was completely covered in black mold and the whole building was extremely damp. By the time we had realised all of this we had already brought all of our things in which was a lot as we had our baby with us so I didn’t bother. The parking outside was diabolical and we had to walk halfway across the park at night with a baby. We have stayed before in a caravan and it absolutely beautiful this time we opted for lodge due to having more space for the travel cot however we are really disappointed in this stay and will probably not stay again.
- Emma (4/5): Good location - A disappointing experience.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The only down to are stay is we couldn't get in the club house was full every night we went at 430ish aswell
- Linda (2/5): Not nice experience - Camp site was nice, our apartment was disgusting(190) it was very smelly like damp wet dogs! The bed had no mattress protector on felt damp as dis sofa. It was not clean at all. The shower try was blocked with hair!! Shower did work very well!! There was no welcome pack as in other apartments that family stayed in (212) very unhappy with it! Surely all the apartments should be of the same standard!?
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Nothing as Expedia took incorrect booking in the first place
God aften underholdning.
God indendørs svimmingpool, game område og mange andre aktiviteter.
- Kim (6/5): John Fowler holiday park - In general it was ok,staff there are friendly but wouldn’t go out of there way to sort out a problem.
It is what it is.e.g: “is there a wifi password please”
Ans: No,no password.
The pool was ok,quite small and dark, kids are not really free to splashand jump as you constantly get told off.🤔🤔.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Convenient location - Comfortable chalet, reasonably well equipped. Take your own towels, dishcloths and washing up liquid. Quiet location, served by a local bus.
We found the holiday village good value for money.
- Mick (10/5): PERFECT ! - Best challet I've ever holiday'd in, perfect!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice place to stay except swimming pool closed too early at night.
- Brian (8/5): Cornwall was ok - Gold lodge was lovely, clean a bit small for those of us used to a superking size bed lol. Had all you needed just bring bath towels.and mat. tea towels and dishwasher tablets or fairy, extra toilet rolls.the small shop on site never seemed to be open, so if you need anything you have a bit of a treck to Hayle or st Ives or Penzance to get what you need. Glad we were upgraded from a silver as it looked a bit dated and dingy. The entertainment was ok the strippies were very enthusiastic and the kids had fun. Even won The bingo on The 1st night. The food was basic but gd, not badly priced. Drinks at the bar were a bit over priced. Parking in Cornwall is a nightmare. St Ives is very busy and hilly, difficult if you have walking problems. Get the parking app makes life easier. Usually cost £6 for parking. Have been to Cornwall now but won't rush bk.
