- Oakley (9/5): Great for an off peak get away - Fortunately I was there during the quiet season, so only around 100 guests as opposed to the 1000 or so they're due on bank holiday so it was quiet and peaceful. Location great for Looe and Polperro. The receptionist was very helpful every time I saw her. There were grubby areas in the apartment and I had to ask for cooking utensils (which should be part of the checked inventory) and for the water temperature to be adjusted as the hot water was scalding.

- TRACEY (6/5): It was ok and gave us a place to stay - It was good value for money and served the purpose we needed it for. The site is quite dated and needs an upgrade. Entertainment facilities and accommodation particularly. Only went to one show..a comedian magician, he was not really funny or magical. No atmosphere in the entertainment centre, quite sad.

- SUSAN (8/5): It was good holiday staying here. - Rooms was good and clean with nice big windows. There was cooking facilities and basic utensils were provided. Mattress was not that comfortable as it was spring mattress. Sofa bed mattress was also spring mattress. There was no Wi-Fi and we tried 3 days calling them with the number given and the QR code but no effect. Finally end up using our own mobile data.+

It was really bad, there was dog hair everywhere, the smell was horrendous,blood all over the cupboard door… the grease on the cooker with dog hair stuck to it.. the spare duvet in the cupboard was covered in hair so made our clothes smell. All the bedding and curtains was covered in black hairs… under the seats where we pulled the sofa bed from has smashed cups people’s belongings.. Contacted the tea who sent a cleaner who moped the floor and wiped of the blood.. But we asked for fresh bedding and didn’t happen..

- Mark Williams (10/5): I couldn't fault my stay and will be back next year, but next time I will be staying for much longer - The location is excellent, Looe is a beautiful place to be and major attractions are only a short drive away, I really didn't want to go home, the staff were brilliant. Friendly and quick to respond to your questions or problems you encounter and always with a smile. The only thing was the bar and shop on site weren't open for longer. however there are shops very close by.

And no pick up from site on a Sunday . Taxi cost to looe around £8.00 just spoiled holiday a bit . Other than as said all fine. And clean . Can’t understand why you still have to book pool . About time got back to pre covic times or is it that park don’t won’t to employ more lifeguards . Pool plenty big enough for more people especially that some people who go don’t go into pool but still get counted

The park itself was clean but had a strong smell of urine all around the reception building, inside and out and although the caravan was clean it stunk. The smell. The fact you could only book activities for one hour a day( you should be told this when booking your holiday) The food was awful and overpriced for what it was. Some of the staff at the pool and at reception were rude and not very friendly although staff in the arcade and bar were nice and friendly.

The beautiful manor and the lovely grounds are excellent for unwinding , and you can walk to Looe on a wooded path straight from the site . We found the booking of the facilities really annoying and couldn't go for a swim as we couldn't book online or get any internet access , I think due to our type of phone . The passes we were given should have been enough to allow us into the pool . Especially as it was so quiet at the time . Not everyone will have a phone and we couldnt get the internet acess to work .

This was completely unacceptable and I had to ask to be moved, when we were moved the bed was on par with a medieval torture device. Collapsed on one side and just uncomfortable.

- Sue (5/5): Disappointed. It shouldn’t be advertised as Gold Standard. - Close to Looe. Easy parking. Good view over fields from lounge window. Warm and dry. We had booked a gold apartment. But …… what we were given was Very very basic and not as shown in the pictures on the website. The 2seater settees were stained and looked filthy. The wooden table had lost loads of its varnish. There was no carpet on the floor. No scatter cushions. No pictures on the walls. The taps in the kitchen and bathroom were loose and the water was scalding. The bedroom window was locked shut. There was a smell of ‘dog’ around the apartment. Everything looked ‘tired and forgotten’.

Kids gather at the front for games and dance, the entertainment staff talk to them through a microphone, but you can hear it 20 miles away, just turn it down a bit, so you can sit at the back of the room without having your eardrums explode!

- Chapman (5/5): - The location of the site was central to all visiting locations. We used the facility purely as a place to rest our heads while we visited different areas of Cornwall. The outside of the apartments looked like council flats.

The boiler stopped working midweek so we had no hot water. The fuse box outside became faulty on Thursday evening so had no power at all to anything and still wasn’t fixed when we left the next day.

The property was dirty and smelled like wet dog and dog wee, making almost impossible to sleep the first. Left the window and door open the next day which helped. Asked the staff to change room but all fully booked. Tv with no remote until last day of my booking. Found it under the sofa. Staff didn’t care much about. For the price is doable but don’t recommend if you can spend a little more someplace else. My autistic son forgot his flip flops in the swimming pool and went bananas. Asked the staff 3 times about it. Last time I was crossed and asked for cameras, so they magically found it on the lost and found.

The mattress very poor feel every spring and there is a spring that sticks out which I’ve caught my leg in several times

Being informed you need to use an app 24 hours in advance to use facilities only to find no space available for kids to swim or play snooker or play crazy golf. All booked. My children were very disappointed Walls held together with staples, damaged worktops, rusty radiators. And believe it or not I booked the luxury Platinum caravan. Absolute joke. Entertainment was lively though.

You did a deep clean the next day but it didn't make any difference to the smell- very disappointed!!!! We drove 8 hours to get to Looe. It was so disappointing to have to stay in a caravan that smelt As you know- you we're fully booked so we didn't have the option of moving

- Deborah (10/5): Had a lovely fun holiday in a beautiful area of Cornwall - Location was so beautiful and easy to find. The property was impressive and so clean and organised. Well kept and welcoming Easy access to facilities friendly staff. Loved the App for booking swimming and checking facilities.

- David (6/5): - Staff were friendly. Shawn the maintenance man was very helpful and fixed our shower fast. The indoor pool was closed the whole time we were there. Also the shower didn't work. It was fixed quickly though.
- louise (5/5): Site was nice, van and entertainment were ok. - The site its self was lovely, the caravan was ok. We got there before 7pm (reception is supposed to close at 7pm) but reception was closed and got told I needed to collect the keys from the bar. Got to the caravan to realise not all our bedding was there, back to the bar to sort that out, we got some more bedding delivered to the van. Caravan could have done with a little bit of maintenance, one of the radiators in the main bathroom was leaking and rusty. Cleaners hadn't cleaned the cooker as went to use the cooker and there was still a pan full of oil in the cooker. We went to book swimming and the indoor pool wasnt open, snapped pipe or something, didnt get told this until we went for our time slot booking for the outdoor pool by one of the lifeguards. There was no notification or anything on the app or when we checked in to say the indoor pool wasnt open. Unfortunately didn't get any photos of the radiators or anything as was too busy to even think about it. Cleaners also hadnt checked the ashtray outside the van either (we dont smoke) and my inquisitive (autistic) 2 year old picked it and dropped it, it opened and was full to the brim with fag ends and ash, at least there was a dustpan and brush i suppose 🙈.
- Rajesh (7/5): Great. - Lovely kitchen and nice facilities Reception closed early so could not enjoy crazy golf, snooker pool and swimming.
