- Brandon (3/5): Just good enough to stay the night in, but wouldn’t recommend to my least favorite cousin. - Cheapest option in area. The first room they put us in was in the basement and it was pretty run down looking. Luckily there were wet towels in the bathroom still and the bed was messed up so they switched us to a room upstairs which was remodeled and actually looked decent. The beds are god awful uncomfortable though.

- Karen (6/5): - Entry to room was down 7 steep steps to the basement. 2 small windows to window wells below the sidewalk don't meet fire code for sleeping rooms where I'm from in MI. Ice must be requested from desk but it's only open from 3pm-10pm. No hot water in shower, just warmish. Furnishings and finishes are old and worn out. On the bright side, Safeway across the street was convenient.

- Randy (8/5): - This is probably the oddest place I've ever stayed. Not sure a place for family with small children. The owners were kind and helpful. The room was older but clean. The odd part was were in a basement room of a house. We had no control of the temperature but the room was comfortable with the fan. This struck us as a little odd. Maybe some updated photos and up front info during booking would help. Very affordable. I would stay here again; however, I think more information about the property is in order.

Said she cancelled with booking.com because she wasn't going to use it anymore. Had to prove by email we already paid and 2 days later, still waiting for our refund. Now, we cancelled our next 2 stays with booking.com and will never use it again.

I didn’t see any place for ice, which would’ve been nice to restock our cooler but other than that it was a good place to stay and will be staying there again!
- Verified traveler (2/5): Not Good - I cannot recommend this hotel. There were several dead flies on the bathroom windowsill, the shower was old and very small, the microwave was not clean, the AC was loud, and the bed was uncomfortable. We arrived 15 minutes before the check in time. The staff made a big deal of it. I offered to leave and return at 3:00, but they finally said we could check in. Not a good experience.

I also liked that it had a smart tv. I also liked the location, right across the street from Safeway. My wife felt the carpet didn't seem well maintained. The wifi was incredibly weak to the point the TV couldn't stream shows reliably, but by using my phone as a wifi extender it was good enough to watch shows.
- Rathbun (9/5): l'll do it again. - King's lnn is a perfect place to rest on a quick trip. A good, quiet rest. Very comfortable. WiFi was available. I did not need a pool, workout facility or business center; just a clean, comfy room. lt is a good base of operations for sportsmen who eat elsewhere. There is a grocery store down and across the street and an outstanding restaurant within a 1/2 mile.

- Debbie (6/5): old and showing its age but a very good value - This a very basic, old motel. The owners are very kind and it has all the basics. It was extremely reasonably priced and was a good value compared to other motels in the area. For the price, I was happy with it, but everything is old, worn, etc. I think it met my expectations because of the low price and so I was able to accept the condition of things but it wouldn't be the place for everyone. I wouldn't stay here as a single woman, but was OK staying with my husband accompanying me.

- Tessa (9/5): A nice place - The staff were super nice and helpful. The price was good and we dug the sort of Jesus theme. This was a great place for us to stay on our way to Omaha. Although the A/C worked well, it was pretty loud. Not a deal breaker, and we told ourselves it was white noise for our toddler.

It was in a convenient location. The beds and pillows were a little firm for my taste, but both were clean and well-kept. The religious theme and pamphlets felt a little heavy-handed.

(10/5): - If you like outside doors this is your spot nothing is far 5min away rooms very clean very comfortable it feels safe they have a nice patio can't cook in room but got a nice set up with double propane grill. The only downside is No iron in room but very welcomed by staff.I enjoyed my week stay.& i will stay there again price is very reasonable.

My only two complaints were, not enough outlets in the room, and the bathtub was so dirty, and honestly the tubs filth is from months of not being cleaned properly. But for the money it was doable. Not sure I’d stay again, but not sure I wouldn’t, I guess it would depend if it was just a quick pass through like this trip was. Because it was about $25 cheaper than the other places around there, we were able to buy dinner with the difference.

- M (8/5): Great route 66 style hotel - If you're all about the luxury, King's Inn is not for you - if you like the retro vintage stuff, the King's Inn is just your style. This is a sweet vintage Route 66 style motor court. It is an older property with a nice remodel job. I love the old metal key for entry. The lighting was excellent. It was clean, comfortable, and had a nice firm mattress. The inspirational doormats and plaques were a great Plus. Personally, I prefer a place like this over any five-star hotel. I couldn't find a way to have the air conditioner fan run constantly - so it kept kicking on and off throughout the night. The bed was a little high for my taste
