Guest Reviews
- Graham (10/5): -
- William (8/5): Will stay there again. - Close to the freeway and cheap. Just needed a place to sleep/ shower and thats what it is. Pretty dated, but for what you pay, thats what you should expect. Bed was clean and comfy, staff was very pleasant. When i am in that area i am looking for a place that is clean and affordable as my stay is literally about 9 hrs. This is both of those and i will stay there again.
- Lawson (2/5): - Nothing Dirty refrigerator, dirty floor. Spiders
- becky (10/5): -
- Molly (5/5): -
- Aaron (8/5): - It was super quiet and for that - a nice retreat. Amenities are far away so guests will need to have everything with, otherwise a drive for such could be 10+ miles. No frills at all, but quiet and affordable
- Tracy (6/5): - No vending machines nothing else around for miles
- becky (10/5): -
- becky (10/5): -
- Tania (6/5): - Very affordable place for a quick stay.
- Robert (10/5): No frills place but with everything for a comfortable night. Quick in and out makes it convenient. -
- Sean (2/5): - Staff wasn't there for check in
- Payton (10/5): - Almost everything The bed was super hard this time
- TAE HYUNG (6/5): - Not bad
- Dennis (8/5): - Right off fwy
- Mary (8/5): - Very clean
- Neil (8/5): -
- Deming (5/5): It worked for me, but would not recommend to my friends - Easy access off freeway Very rundown and some appliances didn’t work
- Elizabeth (4/5): - This is a decrepit place. Clean, however, as much as it can be with a 40 year old carpet. Every fabric surface is old and dirty.
I’m sick, or I would have turned around and gotten back in my car to drive all night to get home.
Tiny, ancient AC the wall, currently struggling to cool a room that was allowed to bake in the sun all day.
The front desk person was very nice, and so far it’s quiet. If literally all you need is a place to crash, this will do. No loiterers, as it’s very much in the middle of nowhere.
- Raymond (4/5): -
- Katherine M (6/5): - If your main objective is to get a safe, simple, clean room with a good bed, only a few rooms where you can park your vehicle literally 3' from your door, this old style roadside hotel is for you. The family that runs the place lives in one of the units, and took care to give me a middle room as I was a female traveling solo. Carpet, upholstery, bedding, fridge, microwave all looked new. Bathroom had new toilet, clean shower and sink. Bring your own food.
- Larry (1/5): STAY AWAY!!!!! - Location made reservations but was tiold they weren’t renting to people with dogs Very rude lady didnt care about ada rules
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Virginia (2/5): - The lady who met us was rude, we only stopped early to locate the place, she said we can’t see it until 3pm.
- Richard (4/5): - Hourly motel from the 1950's on highway 99. No lobby other than a window that may or may not be staffed. Towels were clean, toilet was clean, bed was ok. Lamp on the night stand hasn't been cleaned since 1985.
The only good thing I can say is that the location is remote enough to keep the sketchers away.
- Harry (1/5): Bad -
- Bell (3/5): It was clean but having to leave early was unsatisfactory!!!! - Location That had us leave at 9 am for electricity repairs
- Keith (10/5): - Great
- Greg (2/5): - This was the filthiest place I've ever stayed at first of all no heater in the room they have a space heater in there we froze our butts off number two is the coffee maker they put coffee in there and it just sits there who knows how old that coffee is in the filter sitting out in the open It was one of the worst places I have ever stayed out in my life I would like my money back on it actually very disappointed
- Garland (2/5): 1940s motel... - not much the room was cold and the faucet leaked that made a dripping noise all night long...
the small electric heater was not very effective until it ran for several hours...
not worth the cost...
- Gobeavs (7/5): The Grinch who stole Christmas - it was under $100 no pet room no smoking room absolutely positively no check in before and I mean absolutely positively before 3:30 p.m. we were there about 1:00 p.m. talked to the manager no the other rooms were rented and I said we had a reservation and he said it doesn't matter I just thought that he could have been a little more accommodating
- David (4/5): Just a place to sleep overnight. Nothing there - Only a place to sleep if you can. A/c did not work right. And very loud. Shower knob was messed up. Coffee was already measured out in a filter with 1 scoop of coffee grounds. Not a packet. Sheets dirty.
- Robert (4/5): Disappointing -
- Speldrich (8/5): Very good - It was a great value.
- Brittany (4/5): Nice to have somewhere to sleep, but would never do it again - I had somewhere to sleep Everything the AC was in the wall. There was no windows that open there was mold in the bathroom. The windows were literally duct tape shut. The bed was on the opposite side of the room as the TV. And the TV was so old that it looked like it had a shaky screen and image
- Jennifer (8/5): - It’s an old facility, but we just needed something for one night. It’s just off the Interstate, easy on and off access.
- Adams (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ion (10/5): Exceptional -
- Granillo (9/5): Superb -
- Granillo (9/5): Superb -
- Baldyga (1/5): Not as expected - The unwelcoming feeling
- Lyla (8/5): - Older clean and safe motel.
- Lew (6/5): - Basic 60’s-70’s motel room. Pleasant staff
- Payton (10/5): Exceptional - Everything!! Staff is amazing No plunger in the bathroom
- Johnson (7/5): It was what you would expect from a motel on the side of I5 - It was clean and close to where I was working, the staff was nice and the bed was comfy. There were a couple of bugs in the room. Like a few moths and little bugs. The place itself was clean it's just an old motel.
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional - The room was fantastic, very clean, the owners are very nice
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional - For a older motel it was very clean , the room was very nice, I would come back ❤️ I liked everything
- Sherry (10/5): Best value in the area - Fine place to rest along the interstate. The place is an older motor lodge but everything worked fine and the bed was comfy.
- Lindsey (8/5): Very good - Clean Old. Not worth the value.
- Vamsy (8/5): Very good - Location is the best, right next to the interstate. Roseburg itself looked very shady with a lot of homeless people. Since this is away, it was great and peaceful
- Vincent (10/5): - Greeted very kindly, quiet, friendly. An old motel but well kept and clean, with its own charm…
- Alfred J (10/5): - Very nice & courteous
Lady @ check in.
- jose (8/5): - It is what I expected but I was there just to stay one night. The hotel is old and inexpensive, it was quiet and the clerk was super nice.
- Anna (9/5): Superb -
- Ken (5/5): This was a spur of the moment booking. I try to find older motor motels with parking close to the room. This fit the bil - The bed was fine and sheets were clean and nice. No windows to open for fresh air
- Sarah (6/5): - Easy in and out situation, but our bathroom window was broken and taped up. It would not close all the way, so it was freezing.
- Roberta (1/5): I had bites all over me. It was cold in room - This place had bed bugs.
- Amber (1/5): Can't recommend - The price seemed good but not surprising with what you get. The manager argued about when I was supposed to check in, despite my booking reservation confirmation. The door is single action lock and had to be slammed to close. The room looked dirty and window was boarded up. Scary kinda feeling about the area.
- Andrea (1/5): This was horrible, scary and stressful. - I arrived one hour early. There were NO cars in the parking lot. I asked to check in early and I offered to pay or check out early and she kicked me out. She canceled my reservation. It was Friday afternoon and I had NO place to go and ended up paying TWICE as much as I budgeted. This was scary and stressful. For the owner to honor the reservation!
- Scott (8/5): Worth it for an overnight stay on long trips to get some sleep. - It is an older place with small rooms but easy on off to Freeway and very clean rooms. Very nice help there. Bed was too soft for me.
- bryan (10/5): - Nice quiet place- great staff-rooms were a little outdated-but absolutely clean and felt safe. Would stop again.
- Cribbs (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was amazing and comfortable
- Becky (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Nothing
- Jim (1/5): Didn't stay - Office guy was rude.. wouldn't let us look at room ..then closed window on is and said we're done
- Deborah (10/5): - It was very clean, nice clean sheets. It had a little AC and a wall heater. The shower was nice and hot and they provided shampoo and soap, and they gave me a bag of ice.
- Davis (9/5): Superb -
- DAVID (10/5): - I liked the fact that it is a good value for the money and is about half way to Portland from points in California.
- Jaimie (8/5): Very good -
- Gunilla (4/5): Disappointing - Very edgy motel. Not friendly. Would not stay again. Unfriendly atmosphere
- Brooke (3/5): Poor -
- Julie (8/5): A handy stop over for travelers that want a simple place to stay that is affordable. - We chose The Quick Stop Motel to be close to Winston, OR., for an event we wanted to attend. An older motel, but clean and everything worked. Bed was very comfortable. Shower was great, although small, they come with older motels :). This motel served our needs well and the staff was friendly. Refrigerator could have been better. Barely kept food cold on the higher settings.
- Jerry (7/5): I'll be back. - It was a nice, quiet place. Big front yard with picnic table...great to relax with cup of coffee and read.
- Kjell (8/5): Sweet - A good peaceful stay,, in a clean room. Comfortable enough. Wonderful owners,, helpful and serviceminded. Wifi worked great.
The motel sits by its own,, in the countryside, nothing nearby. There is a certain charm to that. I can imagine the heavy truck traffic on I-5 and right outside being bothersome to some people,, or maybe it was just me. Not a negative,, but there is nothing nearby as far as stores goes. You have to travel a handful of miles to the north,, exit 119.
- Calina (6/5): Pleasant -
- Susan (1/5): Avoid at ALL COSTS!!! - I was refused service due to my disability and size. I wasn't allowed to even check in.
- Puffenbarger (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tammy (2/5): - Booked a room for my wife and her sister because they were going to a concert that evening.
I called the desk and spoke to a lady and we cleared that there was only 1 room left with 1 queen and they will both be staying.
She understood and we hung up on what I thought would e been a great experience but it wasn't.
My wife calls me and says the guy at the front desk isn't giving them a room because it's for 1 person.
He didn't wanna talk to me about it.
I called the next day and spoke to the woman who started screaming at me that we didn't talk the night before lol.
Anyway I found a better hotel then this down the road for more money but it is what it is
- Shirley (2/5): - They would not let us have our dog with us even though its a service dog
- Jerry (8/5): Very good - Nice front yard with picnic table. Great place to telephone, and read my book.
Also, liked that they hade fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
- Richard (3/5): Very disappointing. Happy to leave in the morning. - The beds were reasonably comfortable. Reasonably clean, except for shower mold Shower walls had mold. Room was frigid with one portable space heater. Coffee maker didn’t work. Coffee in basket was loose, filled by hand. Octopus of cords under the cabinet holding the TV, looked to be a fire hazard. Paint peeling on exterior of the building. Driveway and parking lot had broken asphalt, cracks and potholes.
- Mathai (7/5): Good in a pinch - I like being able to park in front of my room. The staff was pretty helpful about my situation The room I stayed in didn’t have a proper bathroom window and the smell of somebody smoking weed or a skunk had just died, either way, it woke me up in the middle of night.
- Larry (1/5): Bad - They threw my debit card back at me when I asked about the policy of no visitors. The lady got upset with me and would not allow me to get the room.
- Bill (6/5): Pleasant -
- Aleksei (7/5): Good -
- Gayewski (7/5): Good -
- Lyndia (6/5): Pleasant - Park in front of your room.
- Richard (9/5): Superb -
- James (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dirk (8/5): - Room, dated but clean. Very friendly office staff. Perfect for a straight forward night's stay on the road.
- Alexander (8/5): Very good - We didn't eat breakfast at the motel. It worked out fine for what we needed.
- Erik (4/5): Disappointing -
- Susan (9/5): Superb - Good location, nice staff, had everything I needed in room. Lock on door is old. Motel is old so could use some upgrades.
- Jason (6/5): Pleasant - It's good for a quick stop over night or for a short stay if you are working near by.
- Djkest66 (6/5): Not worth your ti.e or money - Nothing Old and falling apart. Door was nailed together were it looked like it was kicked in
- Josh (8/5): Very good -
- John (4/5): - Just a tired, old, OLD motel. Skipped the shower—tiny and, yes, old. Very unfriendly signs all over the office door, like “Don’t even ask!” and “This is not a store. Don’t knock on the door.”
- Timothy (4/5): Disappointing -
- Tina (4/5): Disappointing -
- Monica (8/5): Very good -
- Dr (7/5): a little place for a "Quick Stop" for the night - I did not stay around or look for breakfast , I just needed a place to rest for the night . it's a cute little old place with a place to rest your head , shower up and go . it's right next to the freeway although it took some research to find because the GPS took me to the middle of the freeway about five miles south . it had a little tiny shower and toilet in a tiled room back from the days before and a sink in the bedroom what TV microwave and fridge . what more could you ask for for a quick stop! ? it was really close to the town I need to pick up a purchase and the lowest price around ! maybe a little more yard care and TLC for the old place. oh yeah, it would be nice to have had the AC on at least a little before I got there . the room was hot for an hour or so. maybe confirming with a phone call two or three hours before you show up and ask them to turn on the AC .
