- Frederic (8/5): Koh phi phi en famille - Excellent emplacement près du port (ça se marche à pied). Très belle piscine et plage. La vue des chambres est magnifique (digne d’une carte postale). Étant donné que c’est une île, c’est très humide et chaud. L’aire climatisé est requise. La chambre sent un peu l’humidité et les draps également (le seul point négatif). Mais c’est souvent le cas sur les îles. L’endroit est très propre. Le déjeuner était délicieux et très varié. Le personnel à l’entrée nous a aidé avec les activités au alentours (où aller pour acheter un tour)
- 179zaliab (10/5): beautiful, best hotel on phi phi - amazing!! loved our stay here and wished we could be there for longer. beautiful spacious room which we’re so clean. the pool area is beautiful and looks over the harbour which makes a great photo. right near tonsai pier and very central to the mian area but also away from the hustle and bustle. nearby beach pubs which made great party areas if you’re into partying. staff were amazing and accomodating we felt safe and enjoyed our stay. we will be back!!!
- noac617 (2/5): Worst Experience in Thailand phi phi harbour hotel - Very Disappointing – Not Recommended Our experience at this hotel was terrible. The room was full of ants – on the beds, floor, and furniture. Instead of changing rooms, staff sprayed toxic chemicals. The shower had poor water pressure, and the room was not clean. Breakfast was low quality, and staff were consistently unfriendly. We were also overcharged for services we didn’t use. Most concerning – a large amount of money went missing from our room, and the in-room safes were broken with no repair offered. Avoid this hotel – it’s poorly managed and feels unsafe.

- Steph9212 (6/5): Basic, but clean. - Staff at reception are friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and spacious, the air con makes the room smell musty and damp. The beds are really hard & there isn’t anywhere to pop damp clothes out to dry (if you’re staying in a swim up room) breakfast is ok, a lot of flies which off-putting. A short 5 minute walk from the harbour so a great base, just don’t expect too much.
- Suzanne (10/5): Great hotel in a great location - Lovely hotel right in the centre of Phi Phi and right next to the beach. Lovely swimming pools and great breakfast choice. All round a great hotel for families.
- Ingrid (8/5): - This hotel is a one minute walk from the end of the pier. View from room is onto the pool and a lovely beach and the location is the main thing going for this hotel, but no noise at night. However, there were mosquitos in the room when we arrived as cleaners leave doors open for ages, so we did not have the room cleaned for the three days we were there, after being badly bitten in the room on first night. Killed a few mosquitos but it spoiled my sleep worrying about this, having to wear bug spray to bed and getting too hot, as trying to hide under the covers! Staff came quickly to unblock shower which was filling up and mop floor as if you try to increase the temperature, there is a lot of condensation. Room floor felt sandy underfoot, when we arrived, mirrors had lots of smears so cleaning is not brilliant, but staff were nice. Also water from taps and showers is salty, so need to buy extra water to make hot drinks. There were no room towels as problem with supply, so used pool towels. Only one key per room which they prefer you to leave in hotel but had to jump over counter to get it, as security guard was not there when we got back. Breakfast is not bad, across the road, with a lovely view of the beach, but we had to get mosquito spray on for breakfast too, after getting a bite!
- bethtarl1992 (6/5): A great hotel just slightly let down by one issue.. - The location of the Harbour View is absolutely perfect, in close proximity to everything you need on Phi Phi and with a stunning view of the bay from the pool. The rooms are a little dated but functional and very spacious. And the staff are kind and helpful. What lets this hotel down is the smell and feeling of damp in the room from the AC. I was already aware of this from having read other reviews when I booked it, so it wasn’t a huge problem. But it really is such a shame as it made me not want to spend time at the hotel when it has so much going for it in so many other ways. I really feel like I have to mention it so that hopefully the owners will address it and allow this hotel to reach its full potential.
- 673danyv (6/5): Fancy hotel - Very salty water in the shower and sink, hard beds like stone, and our door was always open. If you close the door, make sure to double check it is really closed because it is not. Couple of times after the cleaner clean our room, the door was open! But overall, good AC and amazing private pool and balcony. Good management and crew.
- shambler67 (8/5): Dream like location right in the buzz of Phi Phi. - Fabulous, dream like location this, with a great pool area and an absolutely stunning backdrop. We had breakfast which was decent with an array of options. The rooms are lovely if a little overlooked by the way they are all facing into the pool. Our only complaint was that the air conditioning seemed to be making all our clothes and the bedding damp. From reading other reviews it seems to be an issue and we tried various solutions to no avail. There were also some extremely rude Israeli guests at the time but the hotel can’t do much about that. Some people are just arrogant.

- Fearless15491440377 (10/5): My recent month at Harbour View Hotel, Phiphi Island - My favourite hotel! Have stayed many years. Placed very well in the middle, 2 nice pools and 2 minutes to the beach. Staff is very friendly. I would like to especially mention Mrs Phichanika Sandrad, head of reception. For example on accident where there was a problem at 3 am, in the middle of the night with a leaking aircondition. They came and fixed it within one hour! Would come back again for certain!
- Bek (10/5): - I loved that this property was in walking distance of the main pier (we came from Ao Nang, Krabi ferry). Everyone was delightful and helpful. The breakfast that is included (at least our stay) was fabulous - good healthy options included. We are right between opposite beaches on the north and south side (near Ao Ton Sai Pier and Loh Dalum beach) - how convenient is that? There is also a beautiful pool which we didn't use since we were busy sight seeing. What was a surprise, is that, as soon as you get off the ferry, there was someone with a sign for Phi Phi Harborview hotel waiting for you and they helped walk to your hotel. A tiny bit of feedback to the hotel: I had messaged the hotel via Expedia about how to get to the hotel from the Pier (it wasn't clear someone would meet us or that it was so close to the Pier). I was a little worried until I got the Pier and saw someone holding a sign.
- DanielG285 (2/5): Don't stay here if you like your sleep - Originally scheduled for a three-night stay, we checked out after just one night due to a nightmare experience. Exhausted from our journey, we attempted to sleep at 10:30 PM, only to be kept awake by deafening music from two nearby venues. It felt like trying to sleep at a rave, with noise so intense that even noise-canceling headphones were ineffective. Imagine a techno version of the theme tune from Madagascar on steroids, playing on endless repeat! We called reception and were told the music would end by midnight, but it blared on until 3:45 AM. With no sleep, I approached the manager at 7 AM. We couldn't change rooms, as the hotel was full, and the music permeated every corner of the small establishment. When I requested a refund for the remaining nights, I was redirected to booking.com, only to be sent back to the hotel, where my complaint was dismissed outright, and no refund was offered. Additionally, the hotel beds as described by other reviews were rock hard. I didn't respect these reviews prior to arrival as I have a firm mattresss at home, but the hotel's are a whole new level. CONCRETE! It left my back aching for the entire day. Unable to face two more sleepless nights, we fled on the next ferry, cutting our trip short to just an afternoon. To sum it up, if sleeping is on your agenda, steer clear of this hotel—unless you plan on staying inebriated or off your face throughout your entire visit.

- MiamiBeachFrank (10/5): An excellent in-town option - I was anxious to reserve this hotel as it seems very few of the in-town hotels in Koh Phi Phi get good reviews. What a surprise it was that we were very pleased with our stay here! The hotel is easily walkable from the main ferry landing, but is largely removed and quiet from Koh Phi Phi’s raucous party scene . The service level was outstanding… the staff was always eager to help with warm smiles. We were so glad we chose this property for only a 2 night stay as it was convenient for our very early tour to Maya Bay and to many excellent restaurants . I can highly recommend the Harbour View as an excellent choice to stay in Koh Phi Phi!

The rooms smell like mildew and my family and I were coughing from the stale, wet air. The mattress is incredibly hard and uncomfortable and the sheets smell like mildew. The bathrooms have black mold in the corners of the tile. The music from the beach parties is loud at night but it’s understandable given the central location of the hotel. Overall the price was very high for a run down hotel but Phi Phi is an expensive place for accommodation.
- nicp508 (8/5): A good option for Phi Phi Don - Like most hotels on Phi Phi this property is pretty basic and a little dated, however with that being kept in mind, we were pleased with our stay here. Opted for pool access room - recommend this if you stay here. Two sun lounges out on the deck and jump straight in! Great location on the opposite bay to where the ferries pull in (however this is literally 50m away so you're still right in the action). Overall recommend this option for Phi Phi if you want a medium sized western-style accommodation option in a fantastic location. Staff were great.

- kieranbD9986YG (8/5): Great Location - My partner and I chose this hotel as we wanted somewhere close and convenient to everything we could need and we were pleasantly supposed. Extremely close everything but equally quiet enough later in the evening once people are out drinking. To top it off, we had a lovely sea view! Staff were lovely and polite and the room was always clean. Would definitely recommend if it’s for a short stay.

The location was also close to some night life activities but far enough that we were able to sleep through the loud music and parties. The breakfast buffet was okay and their fresh mangoes were stellar.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Very large pool area which the kids loved. Right on the beach too. Staff allowed us to use the facilities after check out whilst we waited on the afternoon ferry.

Single. Night. My white noise app was on full blast. But the Club music won and it made for a horrible sleep. Additionally, even though we requested and received a mattress topper, the bed was as firm as ever. Loved this location and the staff but I value my sleep more. I would recommend being far away from that hotel that could care less about adjacent hotels.

- Rhoda (8/5): Great pool access room - The pool access room was great. The bed was hard as a rock, but a mattress topper help it become more comfortable. The room was dark. It could use better lighting as well as a privacy curtain. Also, drawers to put away clothes and dryer rack to dry wet clothes would be helpful. The location and ocean proximity cant be beat.
- mortenb335 (2/5): Reconsider - Not very impressed, the beds are so hard, it would almost be better sleeping on the floor. Wifi is slow and unstable, the pool bar is open about 20 minutes a day. We had a swim out room, but no step/ladder made it hard to get out of the pool. Cleaning was poor, and the staff not very helpful/ service minded. The appartment smelled mould, allthough they claimed it was newly refurbished. The building opposite the pool was undergoing renovation, so the view was unpleasant, and painters watching us on the porch. Breakfast was limited and not very inspiring. Nice location, but that's about it.

- joleene7 (10/5): Lovely hotel in a perfect location - What a fantastic location with the hotel right in the middle of two beaches , close to the village and close to the pier when you arrive could not be better . The staff were lovely so helpful , the facilities were great , good air conditioning etc . The beaches are a wow moment and the long tail boat trip to the islands was fantastic , we rented a private one for 3 hours for about £ 40 and landed at maya bay early morning before the crowds it was amazing .

- James (10/5): Super location in Phi Phi - Awesome accommodation in Phi Phi. Super location a minute from the harbour, brilliant when arriving on the ferry, especially with a toddler in tow. The two pools are beautiful and safe, great for kids and adult swimming. Proximity to the beach is 10/10. The staff were fantastic throughout, especially with our little boy who got so much love and attention. We enjoyed having breakfast right beside the beach. Balcony overlooking the larger pool was great and the room was super, lots of space. Mattress a little hard for my tastes, otherwise fantastic. We would love to come back and visit again.
- giavannab2016 (6/5): Disappointed, but live the staff. - I came here with high expectations and did not take much notice of the negative reviews as some people can be very picky. We have been coming to Thialand for the last 23 years and Phi Phi has always been our special place. We came here also a few years ago when the just built this hotel and it looked amazing so we booked this time around. This hotel has not been looked after. It's a money , machine and has been left to fall to pieces. It needs a good paint nothing serious. The main swimming pool; has absolutely no vibe the bar is not in the pool please take note. The beach in the front (sea) is dirty with all the boats oil on the floor and drifting on top of the water. The main poo; water is HOT. The other pool contacted to the rooms much cooler but not contacted to main pool so you have to walk round especially if you have back problems very difficult to get in and out as the rooms don't have something to grab onto to get in and out. The smells are unbearable and the keep spraying [perfume to try mask the smell. The staff are amazing and try help as much they can. Love the lazy cat. The beds are rock hard so of you have back problems it's a issue. They did give a cover for my bed but really makes no difference. Breakfast was good staff amazing, I wish I cou;s work there for a month I wou;d change so much with little effort. Get some music at the pool. Get some waiter that bring drinks , get some upgraded pool furniture. Paint the hotel. Get some ENGLISH channels it's only Thia how many Thai people visit the hotel?? We moved to another hotel that had all these little changes and it makes A huge difference.

- swoody (10/5): Great location and staff - The location of this property could not be better with direct access to the beach from the pool area on one end of the building and a short one to two minute walk from the ferry pier on the other. If your visiting the area for the first time, you will not need to use a local who will be holding up a sign at the pier who will take you to the hotel and carry your luggage unless you pack heavy. We had a room with pool access which was well worth the upgrade even with the narrow pool where there are rooms right opposite so you need to be mindful with your curtains. The old school key used for the room is a very minor nuisance but leaving it at the front desk when leaving the hotel works fine. The staff were welcoming and super friendly. The breakfast was not a highlight but was not bad by any stretch of the imagination with reasonable hours. The rooms may be getting a little dated and worn but were clean and everything worked fine.

Close to harbour and surrounding, everything is so close by 2. Staff are lovely and attentive- they moved our room after a few nights as we couldn’t bare with the banging of music Cons 1. Lots of insects, mosquitoes in the room’s, impossible to get out 2. Average breakfast 3. There is nowhere to hang wet clothes/towels 4. The whole room feels damp all the time/ mould in showers, clothes can’t dry, even the sheets feel damp all the time. 5. Banging music every night until 3am from beach parties 6. Bed is like sleeping on concrete and rock hard, pillows are horrible

Pool access room difficult to enter/exit as no steps and we didn’t get any of the sun on our balcony. Helpful staff and clean enough. Room was tired and basic but had everything we needed for a few nights stay.

Great location as you get off the boat and its just there. Also out the way from the nightlife but close enoigh to walk in and enjoy if you want to.
- Barbara (6/5): Just okay - Big rooms but very dark and dated.Spotty wifi. No warm or hot water in shower and shower doesn’t drain well. Very fish bowly as all rooms look into each other. Phi Phi Don was the only disappointing spot in Thailand. Dirty and smells like sewage. Cats everywhere and the do their business on the beach. Phi phi Ley was spectacular and wish we just did a day trip instead of staying on Phi Phi Don.

A mattress topper would go a long way for this place. There was also this green light coming from a box under the sink in the bathroom & it glowed straight through the glass wall in our eyes as we slept which also seemed problematic for a good nights rest

- Camila (4/5): Not well maintained and higiene not great - Hotel is in bad state, and the higiene is not good. The towells had a bunch of stains and the rooms were extremely humid. The air condition doesn’t work well and the beds are really hard. The people are really nice so I feel really bad leaving a bad review but the hotel was really bad. We walked around it and found other options at the same price that looked much better. The shower curtain had mold also.

- Stephen (6/5): - We received a warm welcome at check-in and our rooms appeared to be perfect - good sized beds, great air con and views over the pools and the adjacent beach/sea. However, our good impression died rapidly after dark when several open air bars approximately 750 m from the hotel played extremely loud bassy music until the early hours of the morning, which interfered significantly with our ability to sleep almost as much as the rock hard beds and the objects that identify as pillows. The following morning, we discovered that the shower drain didn't really work too well and the buffet style breakfast was disappointing. The next day, we used the pool which had a pool bar. Although the pool had a jacuzzi section but no bubbles and the pool bar wasn't 'set up' to sell any drinks either. The staff at the hotel are all lovely people and the hotel is perfectly located for easy access to the ferry, shops, cafes, resto's, beaches etc, but for us the nighttime noise and rock hard beds would stop us from going back there.

- Kasim (4/5): - Overpriced at almost $200 per night for the triple room with piol access, forca 3 star hotel at best. No towels in the room, and pool and other facilities dilapidated. Even worse, they called us at 11am shsrp to inform us to check out (whereas most hotels have 12pm checkout) and tried to get us to pay extra 500 baht to checkout at 12. Overall bad experience. Only good thing is the location if you want something near the main pier.
- Jessica (8/5): Excellent hotel in central Phi Phi - This hotel was a perfect and as advertised. There were no bells and whistles or fancy extras, but it was clean, centrally located, had professional staff, and had a great pool and beach. Restaurants and bars were all across the street and this was also only a 2-minute walk from the dock (an extra bonus when it's sunny and over 100 with luggage).

- Shena (6/5): Location is perfect - The location is perfect, in middle of everything, just off the main pier. The hotel has so much potential.. but is just being neglected. Basic stuff missing, no hand towels or face towels, if u need swimming towels u must go to front desk. The air conditioner @ 26 o is freezing cold, when switched it to fan mode, flooded the entire room, breakfast is only till 10am. Front desk only works till 1am. The windows should be tinted, u can see through all other rooms in the bedroom to bathroom. The outside chairs are disgusting. The cleaning is superficial.

Right next to the beach which is great but from 8pm to 2am you will have very loud music thumping in your room from the nightclub. The positive is that it was walking distance to the harbour and restaurants and shops. Beds were uncomfortable and extremely hard, the air con had a weird smell. For the price I paid it’s not what I was expecting therefore I am disappointed and wouldn’t recommend unless you get a good deal and are only there for one night or at a stretch 2 nights.

Clean hotel with big bedrooms my only negative was the mattress on the bed was like laying on the floor and woke up both mornings with a back ache, luckily we were only doing a short 2 night visit so wasn’t too much of a problem. Nice pool area with brilliant views of the beach and was always quiet to get a bed, we done our trip to Maya bay and came back and chilled at th pool in the afternoon and there was plenty of beds still. Would recommend, just if you’re staying more than a few days be prepared for an uncomfortable bed.

Hands down - Having stayed in dozens of beautiful and clean hotels using hotels.com I never could have imagined the horror that Phi Phi Harbour View had in store. Beyond all, the place was DISGUSTING. (See photos attached). The photos don’t even show the stain on the sheets or the horrible stench coming from the bathroom, and the whole hotel frankly. The bed was rock solid hard. Not the firm, solid kind that can be nice. It was awful and uncomfortable. Staff was few and unhelpful. When we voiced our concerns several times (to the front desk and hotels.com) the only solution anyone could come up with was to keep sending housekeeping to the room, which didn’t help at all. I could not believe the amount of mold in the room. There was mold behind every crevasse. The photos attached show maybe 10% of it. We were booked to stay for 3 nights and had to leave after 2 and book a new place because we couldn’t stand to live in a place like that. We still have not received a refund or a credit from hotels.com Even if the room was decent the whole hotel itself was rundown and outdated and gross. DO NOT CONSIDER THIS HOTEL.

Big rooms but the beds are very firm, you might have some ants in your room and certain things don’t work because the hotel definitely needs a little remodel. Good enough for a few nights. I liked that the shower has a see through glass window to the bedroom.
- James (10/5): Perfect base, just needs some TLC - Perfect location, just off the pier when you arrive so luggage an easy task. Rooms and bathrooms were spacious, and clean. Pool area needs some love, poolside beds are plastic and hot, so could do with some cushions. If you are looking to use the gym then go elsewhere, there’s a reason there is no pictures! Breakfast is basic and a short walk from the resort building, but plenty to fuel your day.
- Randall (8/5): - The hotel is in a great location just next to the beach and a quick walk to the main part of the harbor. It’s a great location if you want somewhere to stay just outside of the busy nightlife. It’s only a two minutes walk to the pier. The staff were really nice and helpful, and the property itself was clean. There were a few downsides, though. 1) The property doesn’t have ice available. Other places I’ve stayed at in Thailand had ice available upon request; this one did not. 2) They only provided two towels, and they were bath towels. No hand towels, no wash clothes, etc. 3) The beds are really firm/hard, so it was a bit uncomfortable to sleep on. Overall, the hotel is very nice and was a good value. I’d definitely consider staying again next time I’m visiting.
