It carries the atmosphere of more glorious times, with a strong emphasis on natural materials and visible craftsmanship—something I always appreciate. The character and authenticity set it apart from more generic, modern hotels. I expected the balcony to be cleaner. I specifically booked a room with a balcony to enjoy some tea in the fresh air, but that wasn’t really possible. The space lacked privacy and was not properly cleaned—there was bird droppings and dust, which made it unpleasant to use.

• Juste (1/5): MOLD hazard - The cafeteria inside the hotel It was MOLD everywhere, we spent only one night there but it was way too much. Room smelled like mold, window is fully covered with a glass which was moldy and did not allow any air circulation. My pyjama smelled horribly moldy aswell after this stay. It was a nightmare. Mold issue must be resolved as it’s very unhealthy

• SATOSHI-M (9/5): 大変満足のいくステイでした。 - 2泊しましたが広々とした清潔な部屋で大変満足なステイでした。 立地は中心部に近く、徒歩範囲でレストランも多くあります。 シャワーとトイレには仕切りの壁もあり、シャンプーやソープのアメニティもあります。 シャワーはオーバーヘッドシャワーですが、水量は充分で湯温は少しぬるめ（個人的には熱めが好きなので）ですが充分な温度だと思います。 向かいにはワイン屋さんがあり、とてもよく冷えたビールも置いているので、2泊ながら何度も通ってしまいました。 少し歩くと海外系の高級ホテルが多い中で、コスパはかなり良いホテルだと思います。 朝食のビュッフェも大変満足できました。 レストラン、バーもあり、スタッフもとてもナイスな方々でした。 少し歩くと海外系の高級ホテルがある中で、コスパはいいと思います。 予約した金額に税金が上乗せされますが、2泊で¥18,000弱でした。 良くなかった点は特にありませんが、強いて言えば湯温があと数度高いと嬉しいかも。

Rooms were well equipped and clean, staff very polite and helpful, and the attached restaurant lunch buffet (2500lkr) and bar are both great. A lot of road noise if you are in a road-facing room - not really the fault of the hotel and more the bus drivers who are honking all of the time.

It is very expensive for the room and service that you get. No soundproofing at all in the room. I couldn't sleep well because my room was oriented to the main street with a lot of traffic. And the balcony door has holes, you can't even close it so you can hear the noises from outside like you were there. So bad to have a good night of sleep! I had also a a water leak at the sink There is mold in the shower

• Roshni (5/5): Waste of money. Rigid staff, no wish to improve services. - Lovely heritage building Location difficult for taxi drivers to find. Staff didn’t often understand what we were saying. Decided to have dinner there on the first night. We asked for no chilli and it was extremely chilli. When we asked the staff about it, we were told that was the way they made it. I asked for chicken fried rice. Absolutely horrible. Small cooked chicken mixed into plain rice. No flavour at all. Again when asked about it, they said that was how their chef made it. Don’t bother eating there. Breakfast was also equally horrible. Plain bread, no toasting option. No hot water for the shower, water at hottest was just tepid. When we asked, they sent a maintenance person, who said it was hot. That was the hottest their hotel has it!! We wouldn’t recommend this place. Save your money. We wouldn’t recommend

• Natasha (9/5): It was a good stay! - I liked the location, the food taste & price, courteous staff and also the balcony. Most places of interest are within 1-2.5kms from this place. The room was smaller than I expected. And I disliked the fact that, the bathroom had no brick wall but just frosted glass wall & door. It's uncomfortable to use it without covering the glass wall, if you are travelling with a friend or your children. So, i asked them for garbage bags, i cut & taped black plastic bags & silk scarfs. Even though the rooms & bathroom and the bedsheets were clean, they were old & jad multiple holes.

• SHINICHI (8/5): Classical hotel at he center of the city - It was a hotel of classical and traditional atmosphere at the center of the city. I walked there from Fort railway station which took fifteen minutes. Noting considering the affordable charge.

Got sick from allergies and ruined the whole trip. However, the shower was nice and very healing. poor cleanliness and bad cigarratte odour in the room.
