- Jayraj (1/5): Wurst stay - Nothing Photos on website and reality is totally opposite. After arrival, staff told about no rooms availability and given us rooms which were under repair. Staff were drunken. No drinking water, hot water kettle, soaps in the rooms. TV was out of service. Instead of king size bed, two small bed’s coupled and given. Totally wurst. No morning breakfast available and asked us to go in nearby restaurant

- Santosh (3/5): Poor -
- Samuel (3/5): Poor -
- E (6/5): Pleasant - The room was good and well furnished
The near by Arby waterfall, just a kilometre, is very enjoyable The lift had foul smell and corridor ends also had unpleasant odour. Sound isolation from the window side was poor.
The complimentary breakfast served at nearby restaurant was of poor quality. Some of the the items we ordered were payable but was not communicated to us so we end up paying for it.They said only idli and plain dosa is complementary. We felt some of these items were cooked in refused oil. Since we brought this to the attention of the manager he refunded most of it. Thanks for that.
- Anubha (3/5): Pathetic - The breakfast does NOT happen at the hotel... it's in a dingy cafe 3-4 minute walk from the hotel. Where hygiene is questionable. Though they provide enough variety of items, the inconvenience and the unhygienic cafe leaves a bad taste in the mouth. We skipped breakfast the next day Where do I start??
We booked for 2 night' stay, as hotel was convenient located near MIT campus, where we had gone to drop off our son. We had booked the hotel keeping in mind that since we both would be working from home for a few days, the hotel would be a good based. But:
1. Terrible wi fi..... negligible, we tried using our hotspot for some time
2. The best- there was a power outage from 10 in the morning till about afternoon. Our laptops started running out of power, and we literally went and sat at MIT food court to finish some calls. We kept asking the hotel staff, and they kept on saying that the generator is not working, there's a mechanic coming etc etc.....
3. We came back at night to sleep, since we planned on starting back for home early the next day. But.......no power!!! The generator again did not work, so slept very fitfully for a long drive home
3. Bad smell in the bathroom..... it's disgusting
4. We checked out at 5am, tried to wake up the staff boy at reception, but he was gloriously sleeping. The hotel entrance does not have a door, so they had barricaded it for the night with a desk.we shifted the desk, then moved to our car, but still the receptionist slept on :)
In all, this hotel is a LODGE...... masking as a Treebo property. While the rooms are decent, the infrastructure has a lot to catch up on.
The hotel was full, as it's admission season at Manipal, so lots of parents coming. It would be good if Treebo got their POV too.
I regretted booking this. I honestly should have gone with tried and tested names, but my thought process was that since I just need a place to sleep and work out of, any decent place would do. But when even basics are not provided, then the property needs to do a big think through
And DO NOT trust reviews on booking.com.. I fell for the reviews, but reality is a far cry from the final product.
- Madhav (6/5): It was ok - Cheap and close to MIT Lift was not working properly
- Pranay (9/5): Superb -

- Prabhjot (10/5): Exceptional - Ultimate stay Nothing
- Biju (7/5): Value for money - Low cost No hot water
- Shaju (3/5): It was very bad experience with this property - Very bad , Don’t book again No cleanliness , Tea cups was kept some one used earlier , Bedsheets and pillow cover was smelly and not washed properly
