• kostas (10/5): Thalassa is a wonderful spot in Mykonos - Location is fantastic and so is the service. The folks working there were all amazing. Our room was very nice and loved the view. It was a little unfortunate that our room suffered power outages, one-off type of thing, for two consecutive days. The service folks jumped on this as soon as we told them which is fantastic. But we didn't expect to have to deal with this type of nuisance during our stay at suck an establishment.

Angelos & Alex were always helpful and provided recommendations and costas went above and beyond and made our experience on the beach amazing every single day. Walkable to excellent restaurants and party places as well. Will be returning! 10/10 recommend! Perfect balance of calm beautiful beach and fun party options nearby
• Brian (10/5): - This property is amazing in all aspects. On the beach but away from all the other super busy hotels right on the strip. Walking distance to tons of restaurants. All the amenities were great, pool, steam room, beach umbrellas with awesome chairs. Super happy with my stay here and Anzelos made it even better. ANYTHING you need he is your man. Also the 2 guys working the restaurant and taking care of us at the beach were rockstars. When I am back in Mykonos I will 110% be staying here. Highly recommended.

The 2 bedroom suite was spacious although be aware it's not two separate bedrooms. The service was over the top great! Both in the hotel and the guys working the restaurant down below and serving the beach. And beach chairs are included. We didn't want to leave. This is a place I hope to get back to.

The hotel is boutique, 21 rooms, so don't expect resort amminaties, but experience personal and attentive service throughout your stay. The hotel is very clean, well maintained and located right on the beach. Staff is unbelievably friendly, accommodating, and kind. From management to wait staff at their restaurant/beach, they were all keen to make your experience as good as possible. Being a boutique hotel, you get the benefit of more privacy and a personalized experiences. With that said, Angelos surpassed all our expectations making our stay here one to remember. He made himself available to us as if he was a personal butler. From recommending what to see, arranging transfers to the city, making reservations, bringing us custom made cocktails, he got us to experience what Mykonos has to offer. Beyond his ability to make you feel like you’re on a private vacation, he treats you as if you were friends. All in all, an absolute gem of a stay!

• Wayne (8/5): Hives from Private Pool - The location of this Hotel is excellent. Directly on the beach and includes access to their beach lounge chairs with umbrellas. It is adjacent to a coastal hiking path to other beaches. Numerous great restaurants, bars, even a mini-mart are at the front steps to the hotel. No taxi or car needed. We had a water-front room with a private pool and patio. The view was amazing and fun to watch the mega yachts and beach people come and go, while still having decent privacy. My wife enjoyed using the private pool. I did not - sitting on the pool deck, I dropped one leg into the pool and within minutes that leg broke out into hives. I showered it off and a few hours later decided to test the other leg because I didn't want to waste all the money spent on such a nice room. The other leg also broke out into hives. I informed the front desk, but they offered no compensation or solution. (Note that while in Greece, we stayed at 2 other properties with private pools and neither caused me any issues). The room itself was spacious and very comfortable. I would stay there again, but i wouldn't spend the extra money for the private pool. Note that my wife did not have any reaction to the pool water. Sadly, I needed to wear pants for next 10 days of my vacation because my legs looked like they had some terrible disease. The burning and itching also interfered with my sleep. I am writing this review 11 days after the hives started and they still are not completely gone.
• david (10/5): - Great location at the quiet end of the beach and not crammed in like the rest of the serviced areas. Great staff. The music from the other beach clubs was very loud. Also the hotel sells umbrellas to the public including families and dogs which we think is odd for a 5 star hotel that claims to be adults only.

Do yourself a favor there are not many taxis in Mykonos book your cars ahead of time through the hotel or take the bus which the bus stop is walkable to.

• John (10/5): - This was 5 stars all the way. Besides the fact that the property, rooms, and beach are all gorgeous, the friendly and accommodating staff take this place to another level. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful, and Angelos went above and beyond with providing suggestions and help. The breakfast is also amazing, and probably the best selection I’ve ever seen in Greece. The location is also very convenient with a lot of things to do within walking distance, and even driving into town was only about 15 minutes. We will definitely be back to stay here again.

Each room is steps away from the pool or the beach. Our room was spacious and clean.I suggest having breakfast downstairs with the view of the Agean sea. Fresh fruit and yogurt with honey was our favorite way to start the day. If you need a good recommendation ask Angelos where to go. He has great knowledge of the area and will point you in the right direction. This is a must stay venue, it will not disappoint.
• Spencer (10/5): - The hotel looks very new, great showers and the location is perfect. The beach chairs are steps away from the hotel and the beach service is great. Perfect way to relax to start your day. The menu is simple but if you get sick of the food, you simply go to other restaurants on the beach. For getting around the island, you can take a 5 minute walk to the other side of the beach to take a bus into town (very cheap option), Scorpios, Santa Anna, Kaloua, soho house is a 15-20 minute Scenic walk. If you don’t want to walk, you can work with the hotel to get a private transport to any location. Angelo and staff were great, all speak great English and easy to communicate.

Location is wonderful, right on the beach & they provide free beach chairs and umbrellas which is a HUGE benefit (normally you pay at least €50 for these). They provide free breakfast which is pretty good. The views from the hotel & beach access makes it WELL worth it. The staff were all super nice & helpful!!

• Verified traveler (8/5): - Thalassa Boutique Hotel offers a well located, high-end amenity accommodation right on the Platis Galos beach. Checking in wasn't the most pleasant experience. If you are arranging transport though the hotel you need to be very specific. Once we checked in we enjoyed a spacious room, access to beach chairs, and the crystal blue ocean waters. Be mindful of how much moving around yo want to do as taxi and transport can add up quickly. All and all we really enjoyed our stay.

The freshly squezzed orange jiuce was the best I've ever had. We had a short circuit in the room and phone issues but all were addressed quickly. We couldn't even open our patio door as there were always people sitting in the pool bathing chairs right in front of our door. The reservation for a room with the see view was not considered.

A massive benefit is that the sun loungers on the beach were part of the stay, compared to other hotels along the beach. The pool was also great. Our room was really comfortable, cleaned well and so nice to come back to at night. Fantastic for a couples holiday! The only thing which was a little annoying was the hotel next door as they played thumping music for most of the afternoon which was unnecessary, completely not our hotel’s fault.

A short walk to the other side of the beach gives you easy access to a water taxi to take you to other beaches and bus into town. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Mykonos!!!

The staff the location the food all are absolutley fantastic. private beach, very safe.. just beautiful. this was mother and daughter trip and will do it again.... Love it.
• Taryn (10/5): Amazing Hotel - The hotel is very new and up to date. It is a boutique hotel keeping the service very personalize. Everyone that worked at the hotel was very nice! The pool and the view is exactly how it appears in the photos. The breakfast every day that was included was perfect! The location is great if you want to be a bit away from the busy streets of Chora (Mykonos town). I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!

• Lisa (10/5): Beautiful hotel on beach with fantastic service - We had a lovely weeks stay at the Thalassa. The staff were all fantastic, so helpful and polite. From when we first arrived the lady on reception spent time showing us places to go and making recommendations. She was always helpful and booked a special restaurant for our anniversary meal for us. The ladies at breakfast always had a smile and were attentive. There was a great choice on the breakfast menu and it was always served promptly. It was nice to be made freshly and delivered to you instead of having a buffet like most hotels. All the men at the beach and pool offered brilliant service bringing drinks and food to us as we relaxed and even remembered my daily lunch order by day 3. The pool over looks the sea and there were always plenty of sun beds free, the water is a little chilly though. The beach has plenty of sun beds on offer to hotel guests. The bus in to Mykonos town is a five minute walk away and only costs €1.80. We loved Platis Gialos beach. It has plenty of nice restaurants offering Greek cuisine and a few cocktail bars. We would definelty recommend to others!
