• Kim (9/5): Comfortable, clean, warm cottage near Arnasrtapi cliff walkway - Clean, warm, comfortable & walking distance from statue & cliff arch. Fridge & microwave useful. Nice view of sea from windows. Minor thing was that couldn’t park in front of cottage so had to wheel bags along gravel path.
• Moreno (8/5): Fijn verblijf op een top locatie! - Een top locatie en helemaal tot rust komen. Ook fijn dat het hotel een goede eetgelegenheid heeft in een omgeving wat niet veel heeft. Er werd verbouwd in het restaurant, beetje jammer dat dit tijdens het ontbijt ook was.
• Kathrin (9/5): Great, the location is breathtaking. - The location is good, easy to get in and out of. The food at the hotel across the street is delicious. The check in /out process was easy, we only interacted with the staff once, they are very nice.
• Paula (9/5): - Cabañitas situadas al lado de los acantilados de Arnastapi, el entorno espectacular y con sitio para estacionar de formar gratuita. La cabaña estaba muy chula y funcional. No tiene cocina, pero cuenta con hervidor. Fácil comunicación para el auto check in

• Nathalie (9/5): - Très joli cottage en bord de mer avec jolie vue dégagée sur la mer Très bien équipé et jolie décoration du cottage.
• France (9/5): Idéal pour une nuit - Le cottage était propre et le lit confortable. Le cadre est très beau mais notre cottage donnait sur les restaurants ; ceux donnant sur la montagne sont à privilégier pour plus d'intimité. L'emplacement est idéal pour découvrir la région et il y a une ballade le long de la côte donc le point départ est situé juste en face du cottage.

• Henrik (7/5): - Mysig liten stuga Personalen på restaurangen vad väldigt fåordig och inte så bemötande och trevliga. Liten stuga, synd att dem inte nyttjat utsikten bättre. Lamporna utanför restaurangen lyste rakt in i stugan om man ville ligga i sängen och kolla på norrsken.

• Marinus (6/5): Süss aber zu teuer - Frei stehende Kabine, Kühlschrank und schönes Badezimmer Glas der Türe war gerissen, checkin Zeit etwas spät mit 16 Uhr, Kabinen generell günstig produziert, es fehlt etwas der Feinschliff und deswegen ist es dann auch zu teuer für was es ist
• Meys (9/5): - Ons verblijf was onwezenlijk… prachtige plek met mooie cottages maar vooral een heel grote knuffel voor de medewerkers… op de eerste ochtend van ons verblijf hoorde ik van mijn broers thuis dat onze pappa overleden was. De opvang door de medewerkers, en zeker van Adrian was ongelofelijk menselijk… dankjewel!
• Natalia (7/5): Cozy houses which could be even better if located in another way - The houses were comfortable and the location is nice. Generally the houses should have been turned 90 degrees to be able to enjoy the scenery. Unfortunately the large windows face the other houses and the road, which means everyone is looking into the other people windows. The other side, which is facing a super nice view, has only a little window.
• Marina Catherine (9/5): Gute Unterkunft, auch wenn etwas lieblos und undurchdacht eingerichtet. - Es war sehr gut gelegen. Das Restaurant auch sehr genüsslich, auch wenn es mit den vielen Cars eine Massenabfertigung war… Die Einrichtung könnte etwas lieblicher sein. Das Lich draussen liess sich nicht abschalten und war auch drinnen sehr hell.
• Alina (4/5): - Very nice spot and the nature around it is just amazing. Do not recommend. When we arrived in the cottage, we saw two small bottles of Prosecco and two glasses on the microwave, no price list, no note. In all hotels this would mean “complimentary drinks “. Just to be sure, I messaged the owner to confirm… and no; it was about 50 eur for the tiny bottle, which I really don’t care about BUT the technique to mislead us into the fact that it’s offered is really not ok, it’s dishonest to trick guests to pay without mentioning any pricing. Then, there is not enough hot water in the shower. Well they did put up a sign for that but really, after a long trip in Iceland it’s the first time I see smth like that! Also the window isolation is so bad that we could feel the wind coping out of the windows and it was quite cold in tbe cottage. Lastly, on the website they say there is a coffee machine but there is none in there. Oh and the pictures of the houses suggest the views are nice, except in reality all windows face the parking lot.

• Jan (7/5): Schöner Aufenthalt, mit kleinen Abstrichen - im Sommer klare Empfehlung - Tolle Aussicht, schöne kleine Cottages. Optimaler Blick aufs Meer. Es gibt Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle. Leider gibt es kein Teller/Besteck oder irgend ein Gefäß um in der Mikrowelle was zu erwärmen. Und das Bad hat Tiefkühltemperatur wenn - wie während unserem Aufenthalt - draußen Sturm ist. Hier sollte definitiv mehr als nur der Mini Handtuch Heizer rein. Oder zumindest die Abluftöffnung verschließbar sein. Weil dank des Windes macht sie sich lautstark die ganze Nacht bemerkbar.

• Anna (8/5): Schönes Cottage in toller Lage! - Die Lage und die Aussicht waren sehr schön. Das Cottage war bequem und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Da wir im Winter dort waren, war das Badezimmer eher kalt, da es keine Heizung im Bad gibt.

• Ivo C. (7/5): Tolle Lage und zweckmässig - Die Lage der Cottages ist super. In den Cottages 10 / 12 war leider das WLAN nicht zu empfangen. Also generell sehr schlechtes WLAN. Frühstück für den Preis müsste auch ein richtiger Kaffe ohne Zusatzkosten möglich sein!
• Sheer (10/5): Un sueño estar ahí - Es el lugar perfecto para ver las Auroras Boreales, un refugio súper especial para estar con tu pareja. El restaurante lo cerraban temprano 7 pm y lo abrían 8 am. No alcanzamos a desayunar aunque si nos ofrecían un lunch box.

Super spot pour les aurores Petit déjeuner pas très copieux et varié. On demande un cappuccino on nous dit que ce n'est pas possible alors qu'ils ont la machine. On arrive plus tôt que le checkin et au lieu de nous dire on fait le max pour vous le donner au plus vite (alors que les personnes étaient en train de faire le cleaning) ils nous disent le chekin c'est 16h. Pas très sympathique dans la manière d'amener les choses, et encore moins pour de la base saison ou il n'y a clairement pas grand monde non plus

• Nabeel (10/5): Nice and cozy stay. - Absolutely loved this stay. The northern lights were visible right outside the cottage and it was such a nice experience. It was clean and cozy. The glass door was a little cracked.
• Michele (7/5): - La struttura ha un’ottima posizione per vedere l’aurora e per visitare i punti di interesse nella penisola. Check-in con il codice,, quindi molto comodo. Quando siamo arrivati, le luci del nostro Cottage non erano accese, inoltre non puoi arrivare ai Cottage con la macchina, quindi è un bel pezzo di strada a piedi con le valigie soprattutto con la neve. Inoltre, c’è una limitazione nell’usare l’acqua calda dopo un po’ va via.

• Marbel (10/5): Beautiful - The cottages were beautiful and very comfortable. Everything was clean and equipped with everything needed. We had dinner at their main restaurant and the soup was amazing. The views are incredible. The night was cloudy and rainy but we were able to see the northern lights for a couple minutes. Amazing experience
• Andre (5/5): - Boa localização, próxima ao início da trilha Arnarstapi-Hellnar A água quente do chuveiro dura menos que, literalmente, 3 minutos. A janela lateral não está bem vedada e o vento vindo de fora inclusive agitava a cortina (embora o aquecedor elétrico tenha dado conta de aquecer o quarto). Fomos buscar uma informação no hotel que é em frente e, aparentemente, da mesma rede e não obtivemos suporte e muito menos simpatia dos atendentes. Falta de sinalização de estacionamento.

• Robert (10/5): It was a great stay, out in the country with a couple of restaurants close by. - The location was excellent with a nice view of the ocean in the distance. Also a walking path along the ocean is close and offers some fantastic views of the lava cliffs against the ocean. I enjoyed a nice walk towards the national park Draugalag. The cabin is pretty spare but has everything necessary for a stay. Nothing really

• Merren (9/5): - Beautiful self contained “tiny” houses in great location, in the heart of town. Restaurant is a short walk across the road and has a stunning view. We had a beautiful high quality dinner. Not a big criticism but we felt the pictures were a bit misleading. They made out that each unit had its own unobstructed view of the mountains, in a remote setting. However the units mostly look over each other (tho still private). However the upside of this is the units are very close to all the best cafes and restaurants in the town.

Breakfast was utterly garbage at $35 USD for like warm wet eggs and baked beans.. yes there is cold deli ham (but it’s the square kind). Rooms have one small pillow per person which for the price is ridiculous.

La chambre est confortable et nous avons eu la chance d’y voir des aurores boréales. Il manque une table et des équipements qui permettent de manger. Il y a un micro-ondes, mais aucune fourchette, ni assiette etc.

• Olivia (7/5): Come for the location, but be prepared to sleep with layers - The property is in a beautiful location. The mountain behind it is stunning and the short walk to the sea is incredible. It was very cold throughout the night and the lack of hot water made it hard to warm up.

• Jim (8/5): Slept great, love the area. - Great large bed. Nice bathroom. Location. Not a lot of hot water - take short showers. The even number buildings you must park on the side of the area, then walk across lumpy unmowed grass to your cabin (no walkways). We were lucky it wasn't wet. Odd number cabins have a parking area in front of each. The door lock/slide system was confusing to us old Americans. Our 2nd day a house keeper kindly showed us how to operate. Big couch, but no table/desk.
