Diane (9/5): It was a great experience and I would definitely stay there again! - The house we stayed is was so cool, built in the late 1300s. There are hiking trails and beautiful views if the weather is nice. Pier and Sylvia were exceptional hosts. The meals were outstanding! We had a cooking class there which was so much fun and we learned a lot. N/A

Michael (10/5): If you are looking for a quite peaceful retreat you wont regret booking here. - Quiet location on the side of a hill with stunning views. The hosts where perfect, there if you needed them otherwise unobtrusive. Lovely small village close by and supermarket 10min drive. The worst thing about here was leaving! Myself and my family have not been so relaxed in a long time.

Gos (10/5): Castle in the Italian hills - We stayed five nights at Borgo Fontanini with Silva and Aldo. You will not regret visiting this lovely place as the accommodation is second to none, with a truely farmhouse feel, but with the luxuries of a dishwasher, nice bathrooms and quality beds. The highlight of the stay (if there can be only one) was our fabulous hostess, Silva. From the moment we arrived to our departure, Silva provided everything we needed with a happy smile and friendly nature. Thank you Silva for making this a truely memorable stay. I recommend that people take the time to stay at Borgo Fontanini and use it as a base from which to explore Florence, Bologna, Parma and our favourite Modena.
