Tyler (9/5): Quiet, comfortable, well-supplied and well-tended. - We could not hear our duplex neighbors and the air conditioner worked perfectly. Plenty of towels, sheets, blankets, dishes, and appliances were available and made it so easy to settle in. The toilet is not secured to the floor and moves easily.
Michael (9/5): Decent place, great location and staff, would stay again when in the area. - Great location, one block from beach and in the middle of everything in Hampton Beach. The manager was great. Had issue with heat and guy was there right away to fix it. Great off-street parking. The apartment we stayed in was very dated but was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again when in the area. No TV in bedroom

Comfortable queen bed, good sized apartment. Had full kitchen with a stove and oven, fridge and freezer, shelving for storage and extra bedding for couch bed The shower felt a little tight

When we got there we were given a 1 bedroom apartment with a pullout couch that was very old and very uncomfortable. I do feel like I didn’t get exactly what I paid for.

Verified traveler (2/5): - When I recently looked to book this place listing said I was booking for 1 queen bed , 2 twins and a pull out sofa bed. They have many pictures on the listing which show really nice properties but the one I was put in was not like the others. I ended up with 2 full beds and a busted up cot and no pull out sofa bed. When I checked my itinerary it said i requested 2 queens and a pull out couch. I never requested anything like that. I was expecting to get what the ad originally states for the sleeping accommodations. I had to go out and purchase air mattresses just to ensure we all had a place to sleep. The mattresses in the unit were absolutely awful as well. Woke up with back and shoulder pain every day. The unit we were in also had live in residents upstairs who made noise every night all night long. Blasting music , banging on the floor and running up and down the outside stairs to their apartment. On the other side a woman who lived there was having her boyfriend park in my reserved spot and had an attitude when we had to move his car. The units floors were filthy , pans and utensils had old food on them and the housekeepers will knock but if you don’t answer fast enough they will walk right in. With all that being said if you get placed in the unit at 21 M st request another unit to stay in because like I said the other units looked nice and if I was put in one of those I would probably be giving this a 5 star review instead of a 1.

Standing shower stall is too tiny. no little table to put stuff on inside any of the bedrooms. Not enough electrical outlets. No kitchen towel or paper towels to wipe your hands with in the kitchen sink. Someone was banging on our door at 3am, not sure what that was about. Overall, we liked it for the convenience of being right near the beach. Need some updating for sure would stay again for a night.
Heather (6/5): The wifi password that killed the vibe - Super friendly and responsive staff, very close (one block) to the beach, parking onsite, surprisingly comfortable beds, and a full kitchen, which we sought out, so we didn't have to eat out every meal, which were all positives. The apartment we stayed in was not in the best condition and could use some maintenance. The bathroom was very small and having tiny standup shower wasn't ideal after days on the beach. The biggest downside was an owner and/or management that chose the wifi password....1trump47....how absolutely tasteless because no-one wants to think of politics on vacation, but it will definitely be remembered and we won't spend our money at this rental again.

Couple things did not work. ie. outside light ,stove, no microwave. it's a little outdated but was clean. for a one night stay we got passed all the small negatives. I have rented with the. before and would rent from them again.

Mark (10/5): Super Happy with my experience! - Everything was extremely convenient! Super close to the venue and the boardwalk. The office was nearby in case we needed anything. Very happy with the experience! The coffee pot needs to be replaced, but I was able to get a couple cups out of it. Would definitely return.

Never the less the location was very good. Easy to walk to the beach, stores and restaurants - which is what we were there for. They own a lot of property so maybe the others are in better condition.
Heather (6/5): - We really liked how close it was to the beach. A short walk down M St. and across the road was the beach (restrooms and pavilion). We didn’t like how tight the parking was and it was really like an alley way. No view, but other houses and the garage for the hotel. The shower head in the bathroom was very high and the hose part had several leaks. It was clean, but the bathroom was tiny and the living room area was very small.

Terri (10/5): Loved it will be back. - We have been staying at The Nautical for years. We have stayed in many different units. The one we were in had a few issues. AC did not work well. Bathroom did not drain and Frig was not working great. When we brought it to the attention of staff they moved us immediately to a great unit. The unit we went to was actually bigger than the one we had ordered. But, stafff was so gracious and said you are good customers and come every year so wanted to make sure we were taken care of. Really appreciated that. We will always be Nautical customers and have recommended them to many freinds and family. Nothing it was a great stay.

Tiffany (8/5): - The town is absolutely beautiful and the beach was so clean. The strip/boardwalk was decent, aside from the one way traffic. Overall it was nice with alot of food olaces and little shops. The apartment we got was decent. Location was great and it was nice and quiet. Only "issue" was its outdated. Spot in ceiling in shower around pipe that needs repair. Cupboards were bubbling and had bare minimum as far as dishes, cups, etc. Also the wood on stairs if back porch was VERY weak and we were nervous to walk on them so we didnt utilize it. Was decent but not great for the price.

Jessica (10/5): - Conveniently located, can see the boardwalk from the front porch!! More than enough room for 3 adults and 3 children. We arrived early (930am), planning to spend the day at the beach then check in. We stopped by the office to see if we could park at the location so we didn't have to move the car again, and to our surprise, they checked us in then!! Will definitely stay again and recommend to anyone going up to Hampton Beach.

Verified traveler (2/5): It was the worse place I ever stayed at. - The stove and refrigerator were dirty . There wasn't a night stand next to my side of the bed so that I could read, until I got drowsy. There were no outlets next to the bed so that you could plug in a phone or sleep apnea machine. An extra towel bar is needed and a space to put toiletries in the bathroom. There was no place to hang a bathrobe in the bathroom. It was cold and there was only a spread on the bed; and we were told that we didn't need heat in the place. We had to move a chair to plug in the TV. The window was left unlocked and we were on the ground floor. The place needs a lot of work and the inside view of the place didn't look like the picture on the Internet. By the way, we ssupposedly got a an upgrade.

In the kitchen if people are coming and have requested a kitchen there needs to be dishes and glasses etc... The was one glass and no coffee cups. No paper towels or things to dry dishes with. Need to up the kitchen.
Patti (3/5): Poor - Location to the beach. Staff nice. Had a friend come stay the night with me arriving at 6P. Office charged my friend $30 to park overnight and an addition $20 to park the next day while at the beach. She left at 4P the next day and paid $50 in parking for less than 24hr stay - cash only after I had paid $570 for the room. What if a family went up with more than 1 vehicle, would they make each person pay to park after paying for the room? Bedsheets clean but no mattress pad/cover. Kitchen cabinets sticky/not clean. Utensils/dishes not clean (did not use). Awkward outlet placement (ex: bathroom plug behind bathroom door not near mirror/sink. Floor could have been swept (sandy/gritty). Curtains stained. Mini blinds dirty/broken. Ceiling fans missing blades/light fixtures. Light switches and TV remote look like hadn't been wiped down in forever. Glad I had wipes in my car. For what I paid per night, they could take one night's worth to use to spruce up the place a bit. Furniture was like leftover Goodwill. Understand the season is short and they have to make their money geez, for what they charge could make the place look a little like it's worth $270/night. I've stayed in much nicer hotel rooms for less. But hey, the place was rented and new guests moved in right after I checked out so they made their money but I will not stay there again. Not for what I paid.

Constance (4/5): - This was a last minute booking so our options were limited. The only bright spot was the location to the Seafood Festival. Upon entering the room, there was a pronounced smell of air freshener. The room is in dire need of a complete overhaul. Obvious signs of water leakage in bathroom and kitchen area. The beds were very uncomfortable to sleep on (soft and slanted). The remote control for TV did not work/ desk clerk said to find a volume we were comfortable with by adjusting on back of television. Definitely not worth the money we spent for one night. Would not recommend any of their properties that they own.
Verified traveler (2/5): - The person at check in was very nice, but that’s the only positive thing about the hotel. The room was in very poor condition, with duck taped floors and broken floor pieces and mold in the shower. The beds were the worst beds we have ever slept in. Squeaky, uncomfortable that even a blow up mattress would have been better. The hotel is positioned across from a busy bar, so there was a lot of noise level till 4:30 am. The walls are paper thin that you could clearly here the neighbors talking. During seafood fest, the cost is doubled. So to pay $220 for this room was extremely disappointing. I never give poor ratings for a hotel because there are usually pros and cons about all accommodations, but this was completely the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.

If you know Hampton Beach there all kinds of these no frill motels, yet this is one of the nicer ones with excellent people running the show. A more than fine place to stay for sure..!!
Verified traveler (4/5): Choose this ONLY if you have no choice - You can feel every spring in the bed. There was no heat and yet the blankets provided were no thicker than 1 ply toilet paper. The added amusement of a shadless window insured the sun boils your eyelids and forces you out even when it's been a loooong night. Beats sleeping in a dumpster, but for the price it was really weak. The best part was Wally's pub right across the street

We went off season so the noise from bars wasn’t too bad. I wouldn’t stay here during peak season though.

If you just need a bed for a night, it works. If it were to enjoy a vacation keep looking. No issues with staff however!
