- jack (10/5): HUGE TV! - Definitely worth it! price was very reasonable and they were packed!! Usually other hotels raise the rates by a lot, this one didn't. The room we got was downstairs and it was very big and spacious! Probably the biggest tv I have seen at a hotel

- Newton (6/5): Great value, while the outside of the hotel looks crummy the inside is still perfectly fine - Great value. I was unsure about how clean It would be when I pulled up to the hotel, but the room was clean and in good condition. The outside of the hotel was quite off-putting. It looks like it is in very poor shape and is pretty ugly. It also would have been nice if there were either more ice machines, or signage pointing out where the ice machine was. The room was also not cooled while no one was using it, which is reasonable but it would have been nice if they had turned the AC on before we got there (we had a reservation) because it was very warm for a few hours.

- Ney (7/5): Hotel room - Friendly staff. 1st room the door would not unlock. Bare bones but ok as the price is good. T V remote needed batteries and the front desk provided them. For the price it is fine.

Bathtub has buildup around the inside. Doors don’t lock well and aren’t secure. Staff constantly monitoring you and your room to see who comes and goes and then questions you about visitors

- Napier (2/5): Abandon hope all yee who enter - Tried to contact the place several times, only to have success an hour before, that person was rude (some female) hung up on me twice; wanted to try to get into room a tad early, as we arrived way earlier than expected, geeze - I even offered to pay extra so we could shower... ...yeah, the bathroom was COVERED in bugs, the HVAC unit completely shut off so was VERY uncomfortable when walking in Overall, the entire bldg seemed like it was prepared to be torn down, several doors were just hanging, really NO parking EVERYTHING

- Kim (10/5): totally worth it! friendly staff and nice clean rooms - Its a older hotel but the room was very nice, big and clean. Glad the wifi worked good had to get some last minute work done. The beds were comfortable and very hot shower in the morning. Manager was very helpful with a few recommendations in the area. I would for sure stay again especially it was worth more than what i paid
- Christine (6/5): - Went for the eclipse and only needed a place to lay our heads for a couple nights. Old motel and the rooms were not cleaned thoroughly but the beds were clean and comfortable. Called several times to confirm reservation prior to leaving and kept getting someone with very little English, saying to call back when manager was there. Was about to cancel when I finally talked to the manger who was very friendly and helpful, and the actual check in went fine with the same person. Had a huge thunderstorm with hail during stay and manager allowed us to park under the check in drive thru. Very thankful for that. Motel very near highways so traffic noise was very loud at all times.

I booked 2 rooms in October 2023 for April 2024. 2 weeks before my reservations I received an email stating that my credit card information was invalid and I must resubmit the information within 24 hours. I resubmitted the information and received confirmation. An hour later, another email, same thing. Not wanting to resubmit that info online again, I called the hotel directly. No one available that could help with reservations. TWO days later, and 5 minutes (literally) after receiving an email saying my reservations had been cancelled, I spoke to the manager. He said the booking was made through a 3rd party which he had no control over...no control over his own website? He also stated that several people were having the same problem and that the prices, on his website in October, had been wrong and that the costs of rooms would be significantly higher to rebook. No way was he going to honor my confirmation # and the fact that I'd been trying to rectify the problem for the last 48 hours. He suggested it was the 3rd party booking agent at fault, I suggested it might be his hotel trying to get higher rates due to the eclipse rush coming through their town. He rudely assured me I would not be charged, but I no longer had reservations and that I would no longer be able to make future reservations at their hotel. As if. It is very rare for me to get upset enough to write a negative review, but here it is. Wish there were negative stars. A most horrible experience. If you're intending to reserve a room here, I would suggest you look elsewhere if possible.

Looked around first and very clean. I am very picky about the bed so I checked that as well and clean and spotless. Low price for a above average room.

- Tom C (4/5): - Lobby was closed for renovation. Hand written note on the front door said to check in at the after hours window. I went to the window and no one was there. I pushed the button for the buzzer and after about 5 minutes a very grumpy lady came to the window. It took her several minutes to understand that I had a reservation for one night, not 2. She finally gave me my room key and started to walk away. I had to stop her just to get directions to the room. The room was fairly clean, but the bathroom fan had an annoying squeal in it. I knew it wouldn't do any good to have them try to fix it, so we just put up with it all night.

They pointed me to a window. They knew I was there but it still took 10 full minutes for someone to come to the window so I could check in. The clerk was on her cell phone the whole time she was checking me in... it was nonstop. She tried to give me an upstairs room but I had requested a downstairs room due to health problems so she changed my room... still on her cell phone. When we got to the room, the toilet pipes were screeching loudly. I went to the window to try to change rooms again but no one would answer the buzzer. My husband found that if we closed the bathroom door, the noise was lessened quite abit. We were so tired we decided to just deal with the noise. Otherwise, it was clean.

I had cockroaches crawling on me in the middle of the night. No joke, I'm dead Serious, cockroaches crawling on me. In the middle of the night, we both left. And to top it off, the AC was not cooling in the room. I sweat my butt off the whole night. Until the cockroaches woke us up.

The only staff was overwhelmed with 40 guests which made it impossible for him to perform. He was nice to me but the whole hotel business needs reorganizing for effectiveness Fast rehabilitation of the hotel which is in a good location and better reception with excellent house keeping. All the beddings and carpets need changing. The restroom baths are appalling. Tortola rehabilitation is necessary

The front desk told us that the price would less ($230/night versus $75/night) if we stayed through Saturday. We were ready to head out Saturday morning, so we checked out without incident.

- Kris (4/5): Only if it’s a $25 / night room, would I consider. - The room was a little dirty and smelled. Found a dead roach to the left of the bathroom sink, they only had a sheet and a sheet thin comforter with no filling and had to ask for a blanket for which they had to find one and indicated that the sheet was what they use for all of the rooms. The place was run down and they had no lobby just a check in/ out, outdoor window. On the last day, they let themselves in when I went to pick up coffee before checking out and started turning the room for another guest at 9:45 am when checkout was 11. The soap and shampoo were almost not usable. And overall, the place had a sketchy vibe to it. Would not stay again.
