• M.P. (10/5): Geweldige plek om te vertoeven. - Wij hebben hier een prachtige tijd gehad. Een ontzettend hartelijk welkom door Marieke, maar ook haar man was heel behulpzaam. Wat ons het meest beviel was de gastvrijheid en warmte die ons tegemoet kwam. Daarnaast alles heerlijk schoon plus een heerlijke ruimte om zowel binnen als buiten te zitten. En ook nog een heerlijk ontbijt! Een dikke 10. Wij vonden het echt jammer om weer afscheid te nemen van deze lieve mensen en deze mooie plek. Lang nagedacht, maar echt niets!

• Catherine (10/5): We had a really comfortable and enjoyable stay and would return if ever in the area again. - Marieke was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. There was a shared kitchen and living room for the guests, so we were able to cook simple meals and relax in the living area. Marieke even provided us with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and basil from her garden for our meal! The breakfasts were lovely too. The property is just off a busy road and was quite tricky to find first time (although Marieke did provide good directions). This is a very minor detail - overall the property was great. You could walk to the lake easily and it was only a short drive to the downtown area.

She further booked us into a lovely dining establishment for our golden wedding anniversary. Also, her breakfasts were both delightful and original. What's not to like! We had some difficulty in locating the precise location since it is hidden well off the main road and lacks appropriate signage.

• Doherty (10/5): A great find in Kelowna - I booked last minute as a result of the fact I had to stay in town for a medical emergency. Despite this, our hosts James & Marieke were warm & welcoming. Our room was spotless & bed very comfortable. They also allowed the guests to make use of the kitchen, lounge, and laundry facilities, which were excellent. The location was great, within walking distance to the lake and some eateries. Marieke also recommended we visit Beach land, and a great little bakery called Bliss. Both were fab. I highly recommend this great B&B Nothing

• Kasia (10/5): The Perfect B&B - I could not say a single bad thing about my stay. I felt so comfortable, my room was perfect, and the breakfast was incredible. I wish I could have stayed here longer! The location is perfect if you want to be close to popular areas but not right in them. It was so perfectly quiet and walking distance from restaurants and the beach. Not to mention, Marieke was so kind, friendly, and informative with recommendations while I visited. This is where I will be staying everytime I come to Kelowna.

• Nour (10/5): If this is your destination, go there, eyes closed. Trust that it'll be perfect. - Breakfast was superb. Marieke took all our diet restrictions into consideration. She got specific ingredients just for us, that includes lactose-free yogurt, gluten-free pancake mix, or even by making salmon omelettes with herbs that are fodmaps-friendly. The host, Marieke, does things above and beyond. She gives directions when we need, and new ideas to discover the city. Her house is welcoming. We even enjoyed sitting in the bedroom - that's how comfortable it was. The location is close to downtown yet very private. The patio is nice; we played card there, eating fruit that was offered to us midday (I know, that's not breakfast - they're just really generous).

Nice setup with a large living, kitchen en the possibility to sit in the garden at the front in a private corner. It’s is all very well maintained, I thought it looked was just done but it wasn’t. The room was very clean and had a comfortable king size bed. The tv has internet so you can watch Netflix with your own account. The shower had a steady regular temperature and had more than enough water pressure. What we liked too is how quiet it was, there was an other family but we never heard any of them. Marieke is a perfect host, she really does the extra mile to make your stay very pleasant. And she makes delicious breakfasts with enough to choose from. Don’t go here for one night, book more it is really worth it!

Fresh cut flowers greeted us when we arrived, and the bed was very comfortable. We were happy to find an actual left turn lane off of Lakeshore onto the property!
• Peta (9/5): Superb - We used Kelowna as a stop over to Vancouver. We enjoyed our short stay. The B&B had everything we needed. The host was friendly and made us feel welcome. Even though we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we felt that the cost was on the higher end of the scale for what you get. While we acknowledge the room was tidy and comfortable, we had access to the kitchen, and that breakfast was included, $220 CAD per night for a shared B & B may be considered quite costly. This is likely a factor that may deter other B & B travellers.

And the fact that she actually made us a delicious homemade Dutch breakfast was a huge bonus! The rooms were very comfortable and we also had access to the kitchen. Everything was very clean and comfortable, our host was amazing and we will definitely be returning soon. I only wish it was a pet-friendly accommodation so I could travel to Kelowna more and take my dog. Other than that, everything was amazing!

Marieke served Dutch pancakes one day for breakfast and next day we had Dutch eggs. Fruits, juice, tea/coffee, toast and preserves were served daily. We wish the mattress was firmer as the one we slept in was very soft on one side. Other than that the room was very neat and clean. The property is in a quite locality away from the city. One would definitely need a car if staying here.

Marieke is amazing, it was lovely talking to her and she made us feel like friends who were visiting her not just guests. Her home is clean, made with love and style and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious, I have to admin that I challenged Marieke to prepare vegan breakfast but that did not bother her at all. If we visit Kelowna one day again, this will be our place to stay, with no doubt. That we did not have more time to stay and enjoy this beautiful home and place, but we will come back one day.
