• Michael & Karen (8/5): great place to either kick of your Tassie holiday, or recover for a few days at the end of a drive. - good location, very quiet but a drive into town/bars restaurants, but facilities in accommodation were very good so it was not necessary to dine out every day provided you were organised with provisions. lounge area was very spacious and comfortable, view from rooms was spectacular with river views and wild life in the mornings.

• Carolyn (8/5): 2nd time we have stayed there. Like the facilities, location and privacy. - Tranquil position, nice grounds, river views and walks. Spacious rooms with the ability to have a second bedroom if needed. Easy access to the city of Devonport and to the main highway. Good washing machine and dryer. Could provide the option of a light blanket for the bed as the thick doona was too hot. Some coat hangers for the robe would have been handy. Dont like exhaust fans in bathroom that run every time you turn the light on.

Bathroom was massive I thought there was a washer and dryer in each room and there is certainly room for both in the massive bathroom but I must have read that wrong on the site. It just meant we were annoying other rooms going back & forth to the laundry late at night

The king studio we booked was HUGE- so much room ! The bed was super comfy, the bathroom was beautiful as well as being very spacious. Full kitchen and furnished / fit out was perfect There was nothing I didn’t like - 10/10!

• Gary (8/5): We enjoyed our stay over four nights even though it started off a bit rocky there was everything that you needed in the - I liked the location it was beautiful looking onto the river. Facilities are good and accessible. The bed was comfortable room is spacious. Car parking is out the front very accessible. Check in and check out is a dream. We were unfortunate the first night we stayed we had a power failure and the wifi kept restarting and there was no hot water in the morning. The next 3 nights wasn’t a problem.

• ka chun (10/5): Excellent wetland view - The view from the room was excellent! We have booked the King Studio room and the room was facing to the Mersey River. We are wildlife lover, so that was so excited for us to look at the wetland and Australia Pelican, Gulls, and Lapwings everywhere in front of the room! Also, you can enjoy a leisure walk around the house. There was a boardwalk just outside the room and you can walk alongside the promenade to the Horsehead Creek RV camp. A short walk, but you can enjoy the nice sunset there. Somebody smoked outside the shared platform. A minor random issue anyway.

• Sue (10/5): A fabulous experience. I hope I can come back again. - The apartments were excellent, large and clean and had everything you could need for a stay away from home. The beds were super big and super comfy. Anna and Matthew were great hosts who were approachable and quick to respond when I had a problem with the heating. They made sure all was fixed and working very quickly, so that didn't affect my stay in any way. I couldn't find fault with anything. A very enjoyable stay. :)
