• Evita (5/5): Not ideal - Communication with the owner and check in after midnight was flawless The bathroom had mold
• Caitlin (1/5): Waste if money. Venice is wonderful but Id rather sleep in the canals next time. - The property is disgusting. Broken glass in the carpet. Mould all through the bathroom. BED BUGS!!!!! And a completely useless owner. We reached out asking for a working vacuum to clean the broken shards of glass in the rug that cut open my foot and received a reply only stating that we must take the rubbish out upon check out. The key does not open the doors easily, it takes a lot of patience and finesse. The oven does not work and the kitchen is extremely poorly equipped. It isnt a Home Lovers apartment its more like a halfway house. The property is filthy and to out it nicely; a health hazard. There is a toilet brush in faeces smelling and looking water in the bathroom. There are bed bugs. Glass in the rug that cut my foot. No decent kitchen equipment and an oven that does not work. Waste of money.
• Nicholas (2/5): excellent location ruined by infestation of bed bugs - I liked how it was in front of a nice plaza and how many beds it had as it was big enough to accommodate my friends and I. 4/5 of us left our stay in Venice with multiple bed bug bites and we were forced to buy itching cream and spend money on washing all of our clothes.

• Igaaa7 (9/5): Cosy apartment in quiet alley - Apartament was clean and cosy. Located in the quiet alley with the walking distance to bus station,shops and main attractions. Responsive and helpful staff. We found the location easily (when you have a restaurant at your back entrance is in the corner). Perfect apartment for someone who wants to explore Venice. Everything was fine. Extra one or two towels could help.

• Konstantina (8/5): Very good - Value for money especially for venice, clean and in front of a canal You have to take the key from another apartment 10 mins away from Home lovers. You dont know that until the day before your arrival, even if you ask for directions. I asked three times for directions in order to reserve a taxi and the answer i was gettin, was that i will be informed the day before my arrival. My reservation was clearly including a 14 days before my arrival cjarge but instead they charged me 25 days before and when i send a message, the owner told me that he/she is not managing the charges and i need to talk to someone else who does not speak English and send me a translator in order to send him a message in Italian

Check photos twice before booking. - If you book your stay in one of the cheapest apartment on Venetian Laguna, in central location close to Grand Canal,10 min walk from Ponte Rialto and 10 min from train station you cannot complain on old fernitures, small shower, noisy AC or very old kitchen. If you are back-packer or you used to sleep in hostels, this apartment is all you need. 2 king-size beds and 1 bunk bed. Very good for family who need place to sleep and eat breakfast. If you plan romantic trip or you usually stay in 4*/5* all inclusive hotels, check photos again and think twice :) Positives: -Comfortable beds -Very good location -5 min to Coop supermarket -heating for cold days (winter) -fast wifi My feedback is still positive, nothing surprised me negatively in apartment but it would be good to equip kitchen in sharp knifes and maybe wine glasses. Negatives - keys pick up point (locker) is 10 min walk from apartment. If you arrive at night or with big heavy suitcase on wheels it can be killer. Also if someone don't know how to navigate through narrow streets of medieval city centers it can be difficult and frustrating
