• Lafi0210 (10/5): - Die Lage ist einfach super wenn man eine Safari machen möchte im KNP. Zudem befindet sie sich im Marloth Park wo sich schon hier Tiere aufhalten. An der Grenze zum Crocodile River befinden sich Bänke, von wo aus man ganz toll die Tiere beobachten kann. Alles wird von Esti, der sehr sympathischen Hotelmanagerin, super organisiert, ob eine Abendsafari oder Ganztages Safari, man brauch sich um nichts kümmern. Man isst mit den anderen Gästen zusammen zu Abend. Man kann aber auch sich ganz privat zurückziehen und dort sein Essen geniessen. Nichts
• Klaus (9/5): Tolle Lodge im Marloth Park - Das freundliche und stets hilfsbereite Personal. Die gemeinsamen Abendessen auf der Terrasse mit anschließendem Dessert am Lagerfeuer. Beim Essen wird auch auf Allergien/Befindlichkeiten Rücksicht genommen. Die Split Day Safari ist auch wirklich zu empfehlen und auch toll und auch hier wird für jeden ein reichhaltiges Verpflegungspaket bereitgestellt. Für uns gibt es nichts zu bemängeln
• tarek (10/5): Le meilleur endroit pour faire des souvenirs inoubliables - Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour passer notre séjour de lune de miel. Nous avons adoré cet établissement non seulement pour un emplacement exceptionnel, mais aussi pour son staff chaleureux et accueillant. L’hôtel nous a même offert des roses sublimes du champagne et du chocolat pour notre lune de miel ! Il propose des sorties très abordables avec des guides connaisseurs, et grâce à eux, nous avons pu voir la majorité des animaux présents dans le parc Kruger. Nous avons dîné également dans le même établissement. Tout était parfait. Nous recommandons cet établissement vivement et espérant y retourner un jour ❤️ merci à tout le staff de l’hôtel pour leur hospitalité

Нам дали шикарный номер для молодожен, накормили вкусным ужином даже когда мы приехали очень поздно ( в кромешной тьме) Супер рейнджер от отеля Devon, который показал нам парк Крюгер и мы чувствовали себя как исследователи следопыты, погружение на 100% Вообщем рекомендую локацию для остановки 100%

• Roland (9/5): Fantastische lodge dicht bij Kruger Park - Wij hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in Kruger Riverside Lodge. Kamer was fijn, badkamer groot, het eten was geweldig verzorgd en je kon drinken pakken uit de koelkast. Tegen de avond komer er diverse dieren eten bij de lodge. Op de laatste dag werd onze auto ook nog van binnen en buiten gewassen, dank daarvoor. Personeel en Etsy, bedankt voor alle goede zorgen en hopen nogmaals een keer terug te mogen komen..

Adorámos o conceito de jantar servido numa só mesa em que pudemos conhecer os outros hóspedes e beneficiar de uma noite animada. Tudo é preparado com cuidado e bom gosto. O quarto era espaçoso, com todas as comodidades e cama muito confortável. O duche do nosso quarto era absolutamente maravilhoso. Gostámos de tudo. Talvez a qualidade do Wi-Fi possa melhorar.

• Sabine (10/5): Super toll - ich hoffe, eines Tages zurück zu kommen - Eine fantastische Unterkunft mitten im Busch. Alle Mitarbeiter waren jederzeit super freundlich und hilfsbereit- Esti ist die „gute Seele“ des Hauses und jederzeit für Fragen da. Das Zimmer war tadellos sauber und die Aussendusche war unser Highlight. Unsere Tagessafari mit Oscar hätte nicht besser sein können. Es war ein relativ ruhiger Tag, dennoch sahen wir Giraffen, Elefanten, Büffel und viele andere Tiere. Er gab nicht auf und wollte uns noch unbedingt etwas Besonderes zeigen, fuhr immer andere Wege und kommunizierte mit anderen Guides sodass wir am Ende das Glück hatten, Geparden zu sehen. Alles in allem 11 / 10 🙂🙂🙂 Alles war absolut toll, ich habe keinen Kritikpunkt

Esti truly goes above and beyond, helping with everything from booking safaris to even getting painkillers when needed. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. Do yourself a favor and book your safaris at the hotel with Tian. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, but he also has an amazing ability to find all the animals. A big thank you to the whole team for making our trip unforgettable!

Chambres très confortables, belle douche, joli (et pratique) mobilier, superbe terrasse donnant sur le jardin et le fleuve (permettant d’apprécier les visites matinales ou vespérales d’impalas, de zèbres, de phacochères…) Mais surtout, l’accueil tellement chaleureux de tous, en particulier de Esti qui apporte un esprit très convivial au séjour: déjeuner et dîner rassemblant tous les hôtes autour d’une même grande tablée. • Jasmin (10/5): Ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt! Preis-Leistung ist wirklich top! - Das Team von der Riverside Lodge ist wirklich toll! Man fühlt sich aufgehoben und willkommen. Das Abend essen war immer sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Man sitzt mit allen anderen Gästen gemeinsam am Essenstisch, was eine sehr familiäre Stimmung macht. Man hat jeden Tag andere tierische Besucher beim Essen ( Gnus, Zebras, Impalas). Die Safari drives von der Riverside Lodge sind super! Wir hatten den Guide Tiaan, der seinen Job wirklich mit Leidenschaft ausübt! Die Deluxe Suite war sehr groß, und modern eingerichtet. Wir würden immer wieder kommen! Großen Dank an das Team, ihr habt unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht. Wir hatten in unserem Zimmer leider kein Netz über dem Bett. Man bekommt aber mehrere Insekten Sprays zur Verfügung gestellt.

• Thomas (10/5): Un superbe séjour - Nous avons apprécié le personnel, le logement, l'esprit de convialité du lodge (on mange tout ensemble) mais en particulier l'environnement : les animaux viennent jusque dans le jardin et surtout la petite balade à le long de la crocodil river où l'on peut voir éléphants, hippopotames, zèbres, etc etc ! Une merveille !

We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food, the peace and quiet, and the lovely moments spent with the animals. Everything felt sincere and done with love. Dave certainly deserves a special mention: what a top driver! You can tell that everyone here works with heart and soul, and we feel completely at home here. We look back on these days with great gratitude and would love to come back again.

Stunning. The staff were beyond nice. We meet the owners and they made us feel so at home. The animals surrounded the Lodge with a family of Zerbra in the garden, where we fed them. Amazing.. we only had 2 days but promised to be back. Very enjoyable. Nothing

• Irina (10/5): - Well maintained hotel with strong management.Esti is doing a good job there. Small number of rooms allows direct communication with guests via WhatsApp. Transfers, excursions and safari could be easily organised. Rooms are spacious with lots of useful/pleasant things in them, like cookies, some alcohol, moskito spray, etc. For early safari mornings lunch box is provided. Evening meal served at 6.30 p.m. on the terrace, all the guests together, so you can share the emotions after your day in Kruger. There is also a bar with adequate prices for wine and beer. The personnel is super friendly. Lots of animals around the lodge.The pool is small, didn't use it because of the rain. We went on safari with the lodge guide, Devon, who is very enthusiastic about his job and good with people, animals and technics. It was fun, and we did the big 5 in one day although all the dirt roads were closed, saw a lot during the rainy days and exited the park through the Crocodile Bridge before it was closed due to the flooding. Our Eswatini tour booked at the lodge also went smoothly. The location of the lodge is convenient for the Crocodile Bridge, the parking is available at the territory. Overall, highly recommend this place. WiFi is not strong. Some tea/coffee options for dinner with desserts would be great. In the cottage where we lived the big communal kitchen fridge is used for extra food storage, and i would also recommend not to use it during the evening/night hours as guests go to bed early before safari.

• Mariya (10/5): Лучшее место для отдыха! - Лодж просто чудесный, находится на берегу реки, есть где прогуляться пешком и можно встретить разных животных прямо у лоджа) Красивый дизайн и декор, очень аутентично и приятно проводить здесь время. С верхней террасы открывается потрясающий вид на реку. Всего 15 минут на машине до Crocodile gate Завтраки супер: на выбор горячее блюдо, йогурт, мюсли, хлопья, сыры и колбасы, тосты, фрукты, панкейки и др. На раннее сафари дают отличный breakfast box. Рекомендую также сразу брать ужины в лодже: закуска/салат, горячее блюдо и десерт, все очень вкусное! Отдельным наслаждением было каждый вечер собираться за одним столом с другими гостями, ужинать вместе и обсуждать прошедший день сафари Номер просто потрясающий, было очень комфортно, есть холодильник, чайник, чай/кофе, печенье. Кровать огромная и удобная, спать было чудесно! Очень мягкие уютные халаты) Уборка каждый день, везде очень чисто Все работники и владельцы отеля очень приятные, стараются помочь во всех вопросах. В отеле можно заказать сафари, у них отличный гид! Однозначно рекомендую остановиться именно здесь)

• Ross (10/5): Excellent, great-value home away from home with a lovely atmospheric 'bush' location. - From the start of our 12 night stay, we received a very warm and friendly welcome from the lodge's excellent manager, Esti, the staff and the owners. The lodge has a family atmosphere and there are two large tables where you can meet other guests and dine and breakfast together, chatting about the animals you've seen on safari that day (though you can also find private space if you prefer to have time and eat on your own). The staff go out of their way to be helpful and accommodate your wishes, provide advice, and there are lots of free little extras like a decanter of sherry in your room, your car cleaned before you leave etc. The beds are clean and comfortable, with fresh towels every day. The breakfast and dinner were tasty and freshly home-cooked; they even provide take-away breakfast boxes for people leaving early to go on safari. The tours offered by the lodge's fun and informative in-house guide, Devon, were outstanding. The lodge is set in amongst forest and a minute's walk from the river. It's peaceful and relaxing, and the sound of the local animals adds to the 'safari' atmosphere. Every day, the lodge is visited by the local animals such as Impalas, Kudus, Zebras and Warthogs, who feed in the garden next to where you dine and sometimes 'beg' for a few extras! Every night, when the weather is dry, the staff make a campfire so that you can sit around eating your dessert under the stars while chatting to the other guests! A wonderful, well-run, great-value home away from home - we were never bored during our relaxing 12 night stay; we would definitely stay again! We're very grateful for the wonderful holiday memories that the lodge helped create! The pool is nice to float in and cool down, but a bit too small to do any 'real' swimming. This wasn't really a problem though as my partner and I were often the only guests using the pool, so we had plenty of space.

Delicious breakfast with Impalas entertaining us. Nice riverview from the upper terrace. Close to the gate of Marloth Park: only 15min to Croc. River Bridge Gate and 30min to Malelane Gate. We enjoyed it very much and will definitely come back. That we only stayed for one night :) Nothing to complain about.

• Desiree (9/5): Wundervolle Unterkunft in Marloth Park - Uns hat die Freundlichkeit aller Mitarbeiter sehr gut gefallen und das gemeinsame Abendessen mit den weiteren Gästen war ein toller und besonderer Moment, bei dem auch abends sämtliche Tiere auf dem Grundstück vorbeischauten. Es verlief alles super unkompliziert. Als wir sehr früh morgens bereits zur Safari aufgebrochen sind, wartete schon ein liebevolles Lunchpaket auf uns. Auch die von dort durchgeführte Safaritour war ein absolutes Highlight

• Melanie (10/5): An experience you’ll remember forever - Esti & the rest of the staff were amazing. They were friendly, very accommodating & truly made our stay comfortable & enjoyable. The food was delicious & expertly prepared & served. The animals grazing around the property was so magical - it almost felt like we were living in Kruger National Park. The game drive was awesome & between that and our self-drive, my husband got to see the Big Five over two days. An experience he’ll remember forever. The local restaurants & pubs were super & there’s a little town, Komatipoort, just 20mins away when we needed something out of the ordinary that we couldnt find in Marloth Park. Breakfast & dinner is served communal dining style (groups of up 8 people dining at the same table). At times it was a bit awkward sharing a table with others; especially people who dont speak English well or who prefer not to speak to others. But, as we are a chatty couple, we had some really cool conversations with some of the guests and got learn about their local travels, animals spotted in the Kruger National Park and about their home countries.

• Prevani (7/5): - The normal kitchen and cleaning staff were very friendly and kind. Always wanting to help. Clean and neat room. 1. The manager seemed more interested in the international guests than us as locals and seemed very abrupt at times. 2. There was no proper ventilation in the bathroom for the steam so the room, after a shower ended up getting very steamy and hot.

We had a special request for dinner in order to celebrate our Father’s birthday and the setup was great, with a bottle of champagne and they even had cake ordered for us🥹my Father was more than happy , we went on the game drive and saw all big 5😜it was hard to leave this place. We will definitely come back again Nothing

• Giovanna (10/5): - Tudo no lodge é espetacular. Muito limpo, organizado, e ambiente aconchegante. A comida estava maravilhosa e os funcionários são muito atenciosos e simpáticos. Está localizado ao lado Kruger e os safaris organizados pela propriedade superaram as expectativas. É um ambiente perfeito, ótimo custo benefício, e com certeza um lugar que voltarei muitas vezes. Tudo estava perfeito!

• Birgit (10/5): Wir kommen gerne wieder - Was für eine wunderschöne Unterkunft mit Blick auf den crocodile River. Frühstück und Abendessen gab es zusammen mit allen Gästen am großen Tisch auf der Terasse. Sehr familiär und perfekter Service. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. In 20 min. ist man im Krugerpark.
• Ulian (10/5): Lodge e safari top level - Lodge splendido in posizione strategica per visitare il Kruger accanto al fiume ciò permette di entrare subito in contatto con l’ambiente naturale. La struttura si trova all’interno di Marloth Park dunque è possibile comunque osservare gli animali da vicino. Tutto meraviglioso ! Consigliatissima la mezza pensione Consiglio inoltre di valutare il safari proposto dalla struttura stessa ed anche eventuali altre interessanti uscite proposte direttamente dal Kruger park Nulla tutto era perfetto

The accommodation is fantastic, the staff are incredibly kind and helpful, and the animals around the lodge are such a bonus. • Daria (8/5): - Просторные чистые комнаты, вкусные ужины и завтраки. Животные, окружающие отель. Гид на сафари Берти, который позволяет себе обсуждать и ОСУЖДАТЬ людей разных национальностей. Неприемлемо и крайне непрофессионально, будучи гидом, обсуждать с другими гостями то, как он ненавидит ФРАНЦУЗОВ и что они даже хуже русских 🤯 можно обсуждать такие вещи, сидя дома на кухне, но никак не в машине на сафари. Очень неприятный тип, хоть и обладающий большим багажом знаний о животных.

The location is excellent, the facilities comfortable, the meals delicious, and the reception very well organized. Esti and her team take care of everything with care, ensuring that guests truly feel at home. Direct contact with nature and animals makes the stay even more special. Without a doubt, the best accommodation choice in Marloth Park.

• Dawn (10/5): A special place on this planet - Just an absolutely amazing place. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. The manager, Esti, was amazing. She organised transfers to and from the lodge and our trips whilst we were there. Definitely go with the lodge trips and not an external organisation. Breakfast/breakfast box was provided plus a delicious evening meal. All the guests ate together in the evening and we had dessert around an outside fire which got everyone chatting and discussing their travels. I do a lot of travelling and I can only say that this place is very special. Thanks Esti and your fabulous staff. Having to leave after 4 fabulous days

Der Umgang miteinander auch die Fütterung der Tiere einfach schön wie miteinander umgegangen wird . Der Abschied von den Tieren wo von selbst gekommen sind und besucht haben

• Chintan (10/5): A perfect stay in Marloth Park - Excellent location in Marloth Park. We had several animals visiting this area. Very peaceful and conveniently near to Crocodile Bridge Gate that is about 20 min drive. Host and staff are very helpful and friendly. Dinner was simple but incredibly delicious.
• JH6387 (10/5): - L'établissement est situé à moins de 75 m du bord de la rivière Crocodile. Le personnel, manager ou autres, a été en tous points attentif à nos demandes. Le seul jour où nous n'avons pas pris le petit déjeuner avec les autres hôtes, ils nous ont fait un cooler pour remplacer notre déjeuner (nous allions à Kruger, donc lever très tôt). La nourriture est simple mais superbement présentée, en quantité et en qualité. Que l'on nourrisse les animaux pour les maintenir de façon artificielle au lodge.

• Chris (10/5): Perfekte Lodge für Safari im Krüger Nationalpark - Esti war ein großartiger Besitzer der Lodge und hatte ein tolles Personal. Das Abendessen war sehr lecker, genauso wie das gemeinsame Lagerfeuer am Abend. Da wir jeden Tag einen Game Drive im Krüger gemacht haben, konnten wir nicht in der Lodge frühstücken, weshalb wir immer Frühstücksboxen mitbekommen haben, einfach wirklich wundervoll. Die gesamte Organisation war 1A und die gebuchten Game Drives waren einfach Mega. Wir können diese Lodge nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

• Ludwig Roman Hans (10/5): Ein Juwel direkt an der Grenze zum Kruger Nationalpark - Die Lage ist ein Traum! Beim Abendessen kann man die Wildtiere aus nur 5m Entfernung beobachten. Das Personal ist super aufmerksam und abends haben wir gerne mit den Besitzern oder anderen Gästen auf der Veranda gesessen. Wir empfehlen die Halbpension, das Frühstück (auch zum mitnehme als Box) und das Abendessen sind wirklich gut! Danke auch an Esti und alle anderen Mitarbeiter, die unseren Aufenthalt unvergesslich gemacht haben ! Zum Abschied wurde morgens auch noch einfach so unser Auto gewaschen.
• Florian (9/5): - Das riesige Zimmer mit Blick auf den Fluss der das Gelände zum Kruger Park trennt war wirklich überragend. Das Essen, die Weinauswahl und der Service waren ebenfalls herausragend. Ein besonderes Highlight war eine Giraffe die einen Abend über das Gelände lief. Die Fahrt von der Lodge zum Crocodile River Gate dauert 20 min. Vergleichsweise gibt es nähere Lodges.
