• Roxana (10/5): Staff & amenities were top notch - The staff was extremely helpful and took extra steps to make sure i was safe and provided useful information. They contacted taxi service for me in town and arranged to the airport; the staff to staff communication was helpful about my departure arrangements to make sure my ride arrived on time. Plunge pool and a/c in the hoy season of Namibia was very much appreciated! N/A

Good location (but you cannot walk by yourself after sunset, not even to go to the closest restaurant which is 2 minutes away on foot) Breakfast had a limited choice and the curtains were making difficult to close the door of the room - it was hard to close the curtains and the door at the same time

• Michaela (9/5): Super Unterkunft in Windhoek - Gute Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, bewachter Parkplatz am Gelände, Bequeme Betten (Info für > 180 cm eher zu kurz) , gutes Frühstück Auto konnte nach dem Check-Out am Gelände noch parken bis wir zum Flughafen fuhren, Auto-Waschanlage gleich in der Nähe Kofferständer/-ablage im Zimmer wäre super Im Vorfeld versuchte ich die Unterkunft mehrmals per Mail/booking.com zu kontaktieren (Info bezüglich parken) - da erhielt ich leider nie eine Antwort. - Aber wir konnten dann erfreulicherweise bis mittlerer nachmittag noch parken!
• Crystal (8/5): - The room was small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. My only complaint is that the person at the front desk said the driver price to the airport was per car but then the driver said it was per person. I believe the driver was just trying to make extra money because he charged per car in-town, so him changing his policy reflects badly on him and the hotel. Luckily, we had enough money to pay but it was a shock. I don’t blame the hotel but they need to be clear with the driver so this doesn’t happen.

Ein gutes Frühstück und Getränke jederzeit. Das an sich ist schon alles super. Aber getoppt wird es durch Matilde, die Taxis organisiert, Ausflüge vorschlägt, auf jede Frage eine gute Antwort hat und für uns die gute Seele des Hauses ist! Danke dafür!
• SILVIO ANTONIO (10/5): Excelente! - Estava tudo ótimo! Todos os aparelhos estavam funcionando perfeitamente no quarto! A limpeza era impecável! O pessoal é muito cordial e atencioso! Já estive 6 vezes nesse hotel e nunca me arrependi! O check-in é às 15h30. Mas compensa, pois o checkout é às 12h.

No one to greet us after a 10 hr flight apart from the security guard who did his best but had little English. The check out was completed by the lovely lady who was serving and cooking breakfast! Once again no one on the reception. It felt totally soulless. There is a saying …… all fur coat and no knickers !

Nice swimming pool. - Excellent location, walking distance to nearby restaurants, while still being on a quiet street. I enjoyed the swimming pool, was very refreshing. Breakfast was basic. Could do with a good coffee machine.

The rooms are comfortable and well designed, wifi is strong and stable, the property is beautiful and well maintained, swimming pool is clean and the breakfast every morning was a well received. The staff, Mathilda and team are incredible and were more than happy to assist with any request, even if out of their normal scope or work. I highly recommend this guesthouse to all traveling to Windhoek! Nothing

• Jeanine (7/5): Gutes Hotel in Windhoek - Unkompliziertes Hotel, die Ausstattung war gut. Guten Wlan und heisse Dusche. Grosse Dusche wie auch ein grosses Zimmer Frühstück mangelhaft, aber nur da wir sehr früh morgens schon auf den Flughafen mussten. Sie waren es noch am vorbereiten.

• Robin (1/5): purgatory - clean, well located the bed. dear god the bed. it was like sleeping on a handrail: thin, hard, awkward. and short. so short that my legs hung over the end by 40 the misery didn’t stop there. then linen was made of (I suspect) recycled roofing material so it was slippery and kept sliding off the, for want of a better word, bed. The pillows were designed in the devil’s workshop to thwart any attempt at sleep by inducing blindingly painful neck muscle spasms I think it got two hours sleep and by the morning I was convinced that sleeping in a sewer would have been an upgrade. only book here if you are an insomniac and you love misery
• Birgit (10/5): Wunderbarer Start/ wunderbares Ende unserer Namibiarundreise! - Nachdem wir die erste Nacht unserer Namibiareise bereits in diesem wunderbaren Guesthouse verbrachten, haben wir kurzfristig auch noch unsere letzte Nacht, vor Abflug, hier gebucht, da wir usn einfach sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Die Anlage des Hauses ist wunderschön, das Personal so nett, das Frühstück gut-es hat einfach alles gestimmt. Es war auch kein Problem, am Abreisetag länger als üblich im Zimmer zu bleiben (danke dafür!), so dass wir sehr entspannt zum Airport konnten. Sollten wir nochmal nach Windhoek kommen, übernachten wir auf jeden Fall wieder hier! alles bestens!

• Sally (9/5): Clean, modern and friendly staff. All you need for a comfy stay - Location was in a good position - near to town and near the main roads to get on your way out of town. Breakfast was very good. A nice choice of cooked food and cold meats and cheese. Toast, fruit, yoghurt and spreads also available Nothing to dislike.
• Kent (10/5): wonderful - staff is the best - staff is the nicest -- always looking out to take care of you. The garden and fountains are lovely. I would recommend the Elegant to anyone. Only issue is glass doors in the rooms which are a bit too visble. There are curtains to close, but its a bit awkward. Having my own private garden was lovely

• Ellen (10/5): Highly recommend - I was greeted warmly by staff and shown to my lovely large modern room with shower room. The bed was super comfy and there was a nice outdoor area with a small pool and sun beds to relax. The included breakfast was also nice and situated in a clean and nicely designed dining room. The guesthouse felt very safe and secure.
