- Ramin (7/5): Last stop before our final destination, so disapointment wasn't to hard. - Nice property, very close to Eygalieres. Pool is nice although. little too small. We arrived around 1:30 pm and were told no room service or any snack options, only restaurant option. We sat down and ordered only to be told that the Chef says we can only have a platter of cheese. Which we politely declined. Never seen such disdain for guests at a hotel this category. Will not necessarily recommend the place.

- Britt (10/5): Exceptional - Breakfast buffet was delicious, and the shaded patio was great. This hotel was the highlight of our 2 week trip in Europe. The town is very quiet, beautiful, and the hotel was just the perfect oasis. They indicate that food/drink isn't allowed in the pool area. The only thing that would have made the stay better was if they allowed plastic cups for beverages at the pool.
- Thomas (9/5): Superb -
- Jonathan (8/5): Very good -
- David (9/5): Very friendly efficient people that went out of their way to help us have a most enjoyable time. - Great people, great food and excellent location
- Marc (10/5): Exceptional - Everything. Food, service, style
- Emma (9/5): Lovely hotel, great staff and restaurant on site - Excellent stay for a wedding nearby (at le Mas des costes) a 15 min drive away. The hotel owner even took us to the wedding in his own car (merci!) Local village is about 20 minute walk. Great breakfast, pool area and spacious rooms. Lovely restaurant on site and attentive staff Very isolated so you do need a car if you want to venture out apart from the local town.
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (10/5): Flavi the owner could not have been more helpful. She helped us in every way possible. - The staff. The drains in the bathroom smelt a bit.
- Jean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Linda (8/5): A relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings - Beautiful peaceful garden, lovely food and friendly staff. Room was a little dark
- Susanjeh (10/5): Perfection in southern France - The staff and Christine were extraordinarily responsive during my stay. The accommodations were perfect with plenty of room for privacy and quiet. The kitchen delivered wonderful meals with local ingredients to top it all off. I would give Hotel Bastide a big round of applause for making my stay so nice. The room keys are very heavy to carry around during the day. They are beautiful but heavy
- Gautier (10/5): Exceptional - This charming hotel in the quaint Provençal village Eygalieres is a true hidden gem. The artistic décor and tranquil atmosphere made for a perfect, intimate retreat. We loved the delicious food, beautifully prepared with fresh, local ingredients. The hotel is wonderfully dog-friendly, and our furry companion was warmly welcomed. The sound of cicadas added to the peaceful ambiance. We can't wait to return to this serene and delightful haven.
- Sadie (9/5): Superb -
- Pelin (9/5): Great value for price in the heart of Provence - It was great value for money.
The hotel is very nice and so is the staff. The breakfast is a little expensive fornthe limited bugffet.
- Samantha (7/5): Good -
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Charming! Fantastic staff! An ottoman in the sitting room would add a lot!
- ernablinova (10/5): Calme and beautiful stay - We stayed only 2 days with my family for the first time! Great location ( 3 min by car from the village or about 20 min by walk)! Very beautiful hotel, freshly renovated, very arty also! I felt like at home! Chef propose delicious menu by chosen local products! Territory is small but green and flowers are everywhere! Swimming pool is very nice too!
I highly recommend this hotel for couples!
- Katy (8/5): Very good - Beautiful setting & lovely refurbishment
- Mark (9/5): Superb -
- jzedward (2/5): Noisy, disruptive - We visited La Bastide as we are staying next dorr, considering lunch or dinner. However, for the last 2 nights the hotel has played loud music until 03h30 and despite saying they would be quiet, they were worse last night!
If you want noisy music and rowdy young people, you will love it - if you want the 'nature, quietude' adverstised on their web site, go somewhere else
- Brian (9/5): idilic ,quaint hotel on similar surroundings - beautiful location bed
- Peter (9/5): A really nice hotel in a lovely town and area. Would definitely return. - It's a 15 minute walk/3 minute drive into Eygalieres which is a lovely town with great restaurants and bars. Breakfast was very good, staff very friendly and the pool and relaxation areas were very pleasant. The shower basin overflowed a little and was not really fixed to the right level while we were staying.
- Sophie (8/5): A lovely hotel with a friendly ambiance - lovely setting, friendly staff, great restaurant missing a few extra luxuries - such as body lotion in the bathrooms
- Callum (10/5): Exceptional - The Bastide was charming and very luxurious. The kids loved it as it has a pool and a trampoline, and they were able to go pick the eggs from the chicken coop. We got the family room that was very spacious with 2 separate bedrooms, bathroom with bathtub, AC, TV in each room and lovely country style decor. The village was charming with great restaurants that caters for all palates, and an approx 1hour drive to Avignon, Nîmes, Pont du Gard….
We really loved our stay there.
- Kirsty (9/5): Beautiful Hotel in a charming village. - Beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. Staff friendly. Booking and checking in easy. All requests, (parking and room view) met. Room spotlessly clean. We only stayed one night and did not get to dine at the restaurant but in looked lovely and whilst taking a late swim saw happy clientele.
Eygaliéres is a lovely village. The short walk from the hotel is an enjoyable one. Highly recommended. Merci.
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Anca (10/5): Exceptional - The hotel is small and intimate. We had a great view from our room and enjoyed the cool aircon after hot days outside. We loved the food at the restaurant, sitting there with a glass of wine overlooking the property was very relaxing. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The pool area was lovely and a great way to spend a hot afternoon. The hotel offers a calm area with hammocks where you can snooze or read, and a play area. It is close enough to the village that we simply walked for coffee and dinner. All in all, great discovery and I will be back for sure.
- jax56100 (8/5): Country escape - We have eaten at this venue before and enjoyed the ambiance.
This time we stayed for four nights and enjoyed every moment.
The reception desk was manned by a charming young lady who was
very professional. Our room was clean and the furnishings were in
keeping with the style of the Hotel.
Food was fine in the evening , but service slow, we waited almost an
hour for our food. Plenty of choice at the Breakfast buffet.
Our one point to the hotel was to say that young children were
noisy and a minimum age of 16 would make the place perfect.
Certainly make the pool area quieter too.
- WMLES (8/5): A lovely small and cozy hotel quite near Eygalieres, St Remy, etc. - Exceptionally nice staff, cozy rooms with little patios, terrific ambience... really no complaints, and certainly well worth the reasonable prices. I would return any time. The grounds are compact but well crafted -- it feels both out of the way and well appointed.
- SleeplessinSD (10/5): A beautiful base for exploring an extraordinary region - We spent only one night here, while attending a wedding at nearby winery, but we wished we had more time. The building is lovely, as are the grounds. And the room was extremely comfortable. Many public spaces make this property feel larger than it is.
- Flyer809950 (8/5): Quiet oasis, close to charming little village - The hotel is situated in a charming, picturesque setting a short distance out of Eygalieres. Grounds and gardens are well maintained, as is the large pool. The room was pleasant and quiet with a lovely outlook onto the pool and gardens. The bathroom is disappointing, however, as it is very small and has no storage or shelf space. The restaurant is good and the restaurant staff are particularly welcoming. Eygalieres is a lovely, authentic French village with a good range of cafes and restaurants. There is ample free parking in the village and a couple of really good brasseries where tourists and locals mingle happily.
- jax56100 (8/5): Charming Hotel set in idyllic surroundings - Visited for an evening meal and was made most welcome.
The tables were placed in the gardens amongst beautiful trees and shrubs.
Food was excellent, along with charming service, we would have been very pleased to stay at this place. A stay in a house nearby was also superb, but having meals cooked for you was a real bonus.
- GarryM0794 (10/5): Lovely few days - The hotel is very nice with a great pool, in the pretty town of eygalieres. Lovely location. The food in the hotel was good, and is also served by some very nice restaurants in the town a short walk away.
- Jenrh2013 (6/5): Lovely area, accomodation & hospitality not memorable - On our 3 weeks of travel in Europe, we looked forward to staying in Provence after a lovely visit in Italy. Eygalieres is a picturesque area, the hotel grounds have been landscaped beautifully, however the rooms, and hospitality was not as quoted, 4-star. At check-in we rang the bell as requested, then utilized the phone at the front desk when there was no response. Our hasty check-in included our being given the key, and then as an afterthought, we were pointed to where our room was located. Also, when returning in the evening after touring the area, the limited parking was full because of restaurant goers requiring us to watch for someone to leave which then allowed us to park our car for the evening. The staff for wine and snacks on the patio were lovely and gracious. The room was average. Again, lovely area, beautiful place, which needs a bit of updating and hospitality.
- Karentrvlplanner (10/5): Beautiful hotel in the countryside - We visited this hotel eleven years ago and liked it so much that we returned. It was exactly as we remembered, a lovely Provencal home in a wonderful garden setting. Our room both times the Lavenderie, is quite large with a sitting area and a private patio. A few steps away is a stunning pool surrounded by gardens. We did not eat in the restaurant but it looked quite nice. The town is a 2 minute drive where there are some very good places to eat.
