Guest Reviews
- Warner (9/5): -
- Robin (6/5): -
- William pepperd (6/5): - Price Staff not very pleasant
No tub plug
- Nail (4/5): - This was the most terrible experience of my life. Everything was absolutely filthy, the bed was covered in crumbs, dirt, and hair, along with dandruff (?) and hair remnants.
- Katherine (3/5): Wouldn’t stay again! - The location is immediately downtown which made navigating easier. Upon arrival the staff was rude and seemed unhappy to see us. The woman at the front desk called someone on the phone an idiot while checking us in. After getting our room, we discovered there was no hand soap in the bathroom, graffiti on the walls, hair in the shower, and that the provided toiletries had been previously used. There is structural damage to the shower that is causing the shower head to leak into the wall. The main room only had one power outlet and it was used for the tv and a desk which provided unusable outlets. Lastly, the seal of the door was so lacking that you could see outside.
- nally (7/5): -
- Armbruster (6/5): - It was close No shampoo or conditioner
- Miner (9/5): Satisfied - will likely be back. - Location was very convenient for where I had to be. Room was clean and nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would have liked yogurt and fruit as breakfast choices. Would have liked a coffee maker in the room.
- Jill (10/5): - Conveniently located to where we needed to be. Traffic...but that's not hotel's fault! I know the back roads so was able to avoid most of it!
- Leishka (1/5): El lugar no olía bien, aparte la puerta del baño se estancó,pésimo servicio - Nada El servicio fatal

- Mayo (6/5): The facilities are very dated and the staff were not very friendly. - The heat worked in the room The rooms are outdated and in need of repair. Our main door had the bottom corner missing so you could feel breeze coming through it. The beds weren’t very comfortable and the TV didn’t work. Staff were not very friendly
- Christopher (10/5): - Very clean and friendly staff
- Reubean (7/5): -
- Patricia (1/5): - Nothing Everything. Checked out early. Even the refund is difficult to get.

- Wade (5/5): - They really need to update this motel. It has really gone down a lot.

- Paul (5/5): Clean, comfortable bed, but lacking common sense and amenities. - Very clean, convenient to our needs and final destination in Winder. Walkable to convenience stores and restaurants. Whoever built that hotel didn’t know what a 90 degree angle was. Everything was akimbo, from floors not being level, to the toilet being cockeyed in the water closet. The shower control was also awkward and difficult to use. Worst of all, there was absolutely no lighting over the vanity! There was a switch for a light, but no fixture!
- Meadows (8/5): - I stay here pretty regularly and love the staff and the breakfast. The first room we checked into, we found a bed bug but they promptly moved us to another room and let me check the bed first. The second room was clean and had no issues.

- Cheryl (3/5): I was unhappy and feel like we should be compensated for handicapped room being given away - not much. The location was good getting in and out of the parking lot was easy. I made my reservation in the beginning of December for the weekend after Christmas. After I got my confirmation I called Jameson Inn directly to insure that we would have a handicap room for my husband, We arrived earlier than expected and was informed that they only had 2 handicapped rooms and they both had been given away a couple days to prior. I was very upset as I made the effort to ensure that he had a handicapped room. We did eventually get a handicapped for the 2nd night so I had to move all of our luggage, and items to assist my husband again on my own, This was a very difficult time as I explained when we checked in as my 18 year old niece passed away unexpected on Christmas morning. So to have the difficulty with the room just really complicated everything for us. The flooring in both room was lifting on some conners which and the rooms had a very old smell too them.
- KAren (8/5): Great value - Perfect Nothing
- Betsy (7/5): All in all, a fine experience, at a fair rate. - Liked the ease of location, generously sized room. Evening and morning staff very pleasant. Convenient free parkong. No true bedside lighting. An attractive, large, floor lamp was easily pulled a bit closer for reading, but awkward. And not very bright.

- John (1/5): Terrible - Nothing The room was rented as a handicap with a walk in shower and it wasn't! Staff were so rude and wouldn't fix the room or give a partial refund and we didn't stay at all
- Torri (7/5): Everything was fine except the TV - The hotel was lovely We couldn’t get the tv to work
- Phillips (10/5): - The hospitality was great. Couldn't stay longer
- Phillips (10/5): - Everything Nothing

- Patria (1/5): Oct 1st I was looking for something in another area about 30 mins away and everything and I do mean everything was booke - It had a lot of restaurants near it. The front desk attendant and manager were helpful with the steps to cancel the rooms we reserved. We found a roach. The plastic cups next to the ice buckets had some stick orange residue on them, just nasty!! The tub had burn marks all over. It was hair and dirt in the tub. The sink would fill halfway when you simply let the water run. The floor wasn’t slept nor were any of the surfaces cleaned off. The curtain had a noticeable hole stuffed with tissue. The outlet box that sits between the two beds did not work at all!! This room was not work $99 simple as that!

- Robin (1/5): Awful - This was the worst hotel I have stayed at in the last 20+ years. The shower barely functioned, the water was cold, the lights didn't work - there wasn't even a bedside light in the room. I guess I should be grateful that the room didn't leak.
- George (3/5): Never again - Plenty of resteraunts nearby No coffee maker which was listed on website. Refrigerator barely cooled and was so noisy i had to unplug it. People making noise till 2am. Train loud in middle of the night. The light outside kept the room too lit up.. No maid service and had to go get fresh towels which were more like big rags. Front desk wouldn't answer even when they say someone is avaliable 24,/7. No lamps in room. Bed comforter was more like a curtain.
- Zoe (2/5): Stay away - The hotel was filthy in general. And the area of town was questionable at best. It looked alright at first while going through the scenic downtown, but that quickly went down hill. The furniture was extremely stained and failing apart. Several pieces were missing. There were wet towels in our room on the tub and the floor was soaked. it appeared as if someone had just taken a shower moments before we walked in. While I didn’t have high hopes booking so last minute the pictures didn’t look as bad as it was in real life. I didn’t think it would be bad enough where I wouldn’t be comfortable staying. I’ve never abandoned a booking in my life. But I didn’t feel safe staying.
- Leah (2/5): - I am not one to complain about poor service, I realize things happen and maybe get missed.
This was by far the most appalling stay in a hotel/motel I have ever experienced. From moment I walked in, the floor was dirty, the bathroom light didn’t work correctly, and the noise from upstairs could not be more intrusive. I had a 4 day, 3 night booking, and I ended up leaving. On the night of my second stay, after a 10 hour work day, I came home to find that my bed was unmade (let alone sheets changed), none of my towels were refreshed (the used ones were refolded) and there was a chicken bone on the floor under the sink. Not only was my room not cleaned, someone decided to have a snack and not clean up after themselves. I was uncomfortable with staying another night, so I ended up staying with my coworkers. Terrible, awful service.
- Kristen (5/5): Didn’t feel safe and over all room was dirty - Staff was polite - Door literally had a whole in it (bottom right -rm 214)
- shower head was coming off & missing the filter and shower curtain was broken
- I’m pretty sure there was mold on the ceiling…possibly black mold! And the vent was filthy.
- Hair dryer obviously looked like it possibly had caught on fire. The rim was melted so I un plugged it and wasn’t able to use it
- Towels looked stained and were very cheap feeling
- Also the soap & shampoo were cheap and I had to go buy some
- Back of tv remote was missing

- Cassandra (8/5): It was decent and quiet, and I slept peacefully. - It was easy to locate and there were many food options within it vicinity. Either the walls were thin or the door, but someone stood outside and smoked marijuana and the scent came into our room.
- James (4/5): - Train horns at 4am the people that live there are coming and going so you hear the cars starting alot. beds hard like sleeping on the floor with a blanket down. All the wall outlets wouldnt hold a charger in them to loose.
- Kasey (3/5): It was a place to stay - The hotel was in need of repairs and upgrades Holes in the wall, old furniture, loud, wall plugs were worn out
- Gabriel (4/5): - Good
- Raymond (4/5): - I guess they have a lot of trouble here because the personnel was very rude when I was checking out. She had an attitude when returning my deposit and
- Emily (9/5): - Older motel but was clean and super comfy bed. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was a normal conventional breakfast.
- Yang (6/5): - The microwave was rusty inside. The air conditioning was very noisy, and the bathroom had no separate switch for the light. The beds were not very comfortable. I didnt sleep very well while staying here due to the air conditioning noise, road noise, and uncomfortable bed. Cleaning staff was noce, but the room smelled like wet mop after the floor was cleaned.
- Shonna Kennedy (8/5): - Friendly staff Everything was great
- Stina (10/5): - The lady working Third shift is very friendly at the front desk and so is the one that checks usnout sometimes
- susan (2/5): Be Advised - Room was not updated, repairs not completed, no hair dryer, floor mat for shower used as towels. We had to go down to trade them out. And discovered the next morning after turning down the bed that sheets had not been changed the spot was down by my feet.
- Tyler (4/5): Not the place for a restful sleep - Worn out room. Stains in bathtub, only 3 bath towels, 2 hand towels (old and ratty), no washrags, hairdryer don’t work, rough sheets and horrible pillows. No lamps, lights by the bed. Have an overhead light with switch across the room. Not worth the amount they charged. Desk clerk checking in was very nice.
- charles (4/5): Not a good stay at this place - Location The tv was a lot of static and couldn't understand most of the Chanels. No face rags the first night. The beds didn't sleep well and it made both of us back hurt. My wife back still hurts.
- James (4/5): Wouldn’t stay here again. - The room was dirty, towels were dirty, beds had no comforters, TV remote didn’t work.
- Cesar (8/5): - Clean room and no stairs. Shower was not working properly
- Enosch (10/5): - Was not bad.
- Anthony (4/5): -
- Bryan (8/5): -
- Laguerre (10/5): Very quiet place and the office personnel very nice. Keep the good work - No I don't eat breakfast my wife and I prefer staying sleeping
But everything is good 👍👍 None
- Suzanne (4/5): Shocked - NOT for Travelers - I wish we had left but I had a reservation for 4 nights and couldn't afford to lose the money. I should have tried to get out, in hindsight.
-Towels were stained, threadbare & should have been replaced years ago.
-Mattress cover under sheets was heavily stained. I noticed when I checked for bed bugs.
-Although a non-smoking unit, the blanket had burn marks in it so they aren't careful about only non-smoking linens in non-smoking rooms.
-The upright chair had a greasy stain on the back and dirty arm rests (wish I had taken a picture)
-There was grime on doors & trim.
-The exterior lights were not entirely blocked by the curtains so "daylight" streamed in all night long.
-The fridge did not sufficiently cool anything and I lost some leftovers. I used a trashcan full of ice and used it primarily as a cooler.
-My son and I went to breakfast around 7:30 am the first morning. All of the fruit was gone so I asked if we could have some. The response was, "No, we don't restock. You should come down at 6:00 before the workers get everything."
-The rooms were mostly occupied by migrant workers who hung out in the parking lot at night, working on cars, listening to music, smoking, and drinking. I did not feel unsafe, though, so that isn't the point of this comment. It's who the motel caters to - they do not cater to the traveler. This is probably why the rooms look the way they do because they act more like temporary apartments for the workers who eventually move on to the next job.
- Chad (7/5): -
- Joe (10/5): - mattress was hard to get off of but thats the way it was designed to sleep, I guess. Kinda wraps you up. All in all I had a nice visit, can`t say anything about the breakfast cause I left out about 5:30.
- Deanna (5/5): Kept my deposit - Required to pay $50.00 deposit on two separate nights which was to be refunded & still have not received my refund back 3 weeks later.
- Kelli (8/5): - Nice room
- Chosewood (6/5): For the price & for 1 night it was Ok but probably would choose somewhere else next time. - The location was great. Plenty of restaurants/stores within walking distance. The room was clean. The towels were suprisingly soft. Coffee was decent. Breakfast. You can't call it a hot breakfast when all you really have is a waffle maker. The tub is soft & had 2 cracks in it (you could press on it & see where the tub was actually broken. Foot placement was a must). Pillows are not comfortable & super small & flat. Remote didn't work well. The AC leaked water onto the floor right in front of AC unit. You would think the room would be slightly cheaper than what it was.
- Thomas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon N (6/5): - Rooms were subpar. Refrigerator did not work, no hair dryer in the room even though it was listed on the website. Holes in the curtain. Bed was comfy. Person working the front desk in the mornings was not very friendly. If you don’t mind the smell of pot coming from other rooms, it’s a great place to stay.
- Carlos (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): - Clean and convenient
- Deborah (8/5): - Nice location
- Phyl (7/5): Good - Convience Morning stuff could be nicer
- Lisa (2/5): - This bathroom ceiling got mold on it and the chair in the room did not roll good
- Lisa (10/5): - Nice people
- Margarita (8/5): - Good.
- Avis (2/5): - If you like to smoke, this is the place for you!!!
- 876avisg (2/5): Taking my daughter trail riding tomorrow morning. - The hotel is a mess. The rooms smells like smoke. The rooms looks dirty and musty. Just a gross experience!!! I highly don’t recommend!!!!
- Courtney (10/5): Great experience, will definitely recommend and will return! - Breakfast was good, there was plenty there for everyone. Coffee was great! Nothing bad to say!
- Tracy (1/5): Didn’t stay after pulling up. Was told by clerk ti call booking & cancel & to call her & she’d ok - Unclean
Looked unsafe
Pool area was a joke
Definitely no place I wanted me and my children to stay
- Smith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mary (2/5): - I did not even stay here because first sight looked like drug deals were going down in the parking lot. It was a very unsafe looking place. I didn’t even check in and they would not refund my money. This place does not represent what is shown on the app. Very dirty and scary looking.
- ken (2/5): - rude front desk tv blasting all night next to me loud very loud tv remote did not work, spend the extra 100 and stay at holiday inn in bethlhem
- Harvey (4/5): Disappointing -
- Darold (8/5): It was an excellent stay - Not a noisy area, close proximity to stores and restaurants If you are booked for a few days, the cleaning crew won’t clean your room, you have to ask for towels
