JUAN ANTONIO (10/5): - Estuvimos increíble y creo que solos, porque nunca vimos a nadie en los 2 días que estuvimos. Eso no quito que todo el personal estuvo volcado con nosotros todo el tiempo. La zona del desayuno es una pasada. El lugar está nuevo y muy limpio, pero el tramo de la Medina hasta el Riad da un poco de miedo. Pero si logras vencerlo, es una verdadera pasada. En realidad, esto le aporta un grado más de exotismo. No aptos para urbanitas o primerizos en Marruecos. Una vez dentro, es un auténtico oasis de paz y seguridad.

Bruno (10/5): Super accueil, super localisation dans la medina, riad splendide. - Il se trouve que nous étions les seuls clients (période creuse et ramadan). Les petits déjeuners ont été très fournis et très bons. Le personnel a été très souriant et à l'écoute ! Mention spéciale : nous leur avons demandé pour notre retour de commander un taxi. Celui-ci n'est pas arrivé à l'heure et une personne du riad est venu à notre rencontre pour nous trouver une solution alternative. Merci !! En conclusion : super accueil, super localisation dans la medina, riad splendide. Ajouter des couverts dans notre panier de petit déjeuner :-) Autrement, rien d'autres à remonter, tout était parfait ! Merci

Rachida (7/5): Rustig verblijf op een handige locatie - Locatie dichtbij hoofdroute en overdekte parkeergarage, rustige, schone en ruime kamer. Personeel was vriendelijk en bescheiden. Kamer moest worden verwarmd met airco. Deze maakte veel lawaai en konden we daarom niet aanlaten als we gingen slapen. beddengoed kan warmer en is aan vervanging toe. Laken was oud en vergrijsd. Het ontbijt is op zich lekker, maar we zijn beter gewend in andere accommodaties. Er was geen brood en geen eitje.

Maaike (10/5): Een geweldig verblijf in de medina van Fez - Wat een geweldige plek om te verblijven. De locatie is middenin de chaos van de medina, maar de accommodatie is een oase van rust. Een mooi zwembad, heerlijk uitgebreid ontbijt elke ochtend, een dakterras met prachtig uitzicht, onwijs lief en behulpzaam personeel, schoon, stil en ruime kamers. Kortom, een heerlijk verblijf in Fez! Geen verbeterpunten.

Gillian (9/5): A wonderful haven from which to explore Fes - The riad is a beautiful haven in a great location, very close to the main thoroughfares and to the Blue Gate. The staff are warm and welcoming, offering help and advice so we could make the most of our stay. Our room was very comfortable and quiet, on the top terrace with views over the city. And the breakfasts are great.

Camilla (9/5): Riad caratteristico comodo per girare la medina - Riad molto bello, stanze piccole ma stando sempre in giro più che sufficienti. Posizione comoda dentro la medina ma vicino ad una delle porte principali (Blue Gate), così da avere un buon punto di riferimento per farsi venire a prendere per le escursioni senza il rischio di perdersi (non scontato)! L’host è disponibile a preparare un box con la colazione da portare via se c’è la necessità di alzarsi molto presto per le escursioni. Disponibile il transfer da e per l’aeroporto.

Riad très beau mais qui manque d’âme (terrasses mais sans charme, sans coins aménagés avec de l’ombre, sans petits salons sympas intimistes comme on peut en trouver dans de nombreux riads que nous avons fait) Personnel professionnel Emplacement parfait Ce ne sont que des conseils car nous avons aimé l’établissement, mais c’est le dernier Riad que nous avons fait avant retour en France après 15 jours en itinérance et découverte de nombreux Riad sur notre route: - lit en 140 dans notre chambre: pour 2 personnes un lit double 160 est plus confort et plus en adéquation avec un aussi beau Riad - mettre des lampes de chevet d’autant plus que les chambres sont sombres (comme souvent dans les riads) - ménage oublié aux abords du frigo - aménager des coins conviviaux (particulièrement sur les terrasses) - interphone extérieur: couper la sonnerie extérieur qui réveille toute la rue et le connecter à un téléphone du gardien pour qu’il l’entende et nous ouvre la porte avant 30 mns ! - petit déjeuner: mettre de la bonne confiture et du bon miel (il y en a dans toute la rue passante) dans des petites soucoupes tajine, plutôt que les échantillons beurre/confiture/miel sous emballage. Les petits déjeuners marocains sont géniaux et délicieux mais là c’est plutôt un petit déjeuner chaîne hôtel français

Youssef (10/5): Fabuleux - Nous avons séjourné à trois dans cet établissement et avons passé un moment inoubliable. Le lieu est d’un calme absolu, discret et intimiste, parfait pour se ressourcer. La piscine, en plein cœur de la Médina, est un atout incroyable qui rend l’expérience encore plus unique. Le personnel sur place a été tout simplement exceptionnel : attentif, chaleureux et toujours soucieux de nous mettre dans les meilleures dispositions. Mention spéciale pour le petit-déjeuner, absolument délicieux et copieux. Un parking souterrain sécurisé et surveillé se trouve à l’entrée de Bab Boujloud (payant), ce qui rend l’accès très pratique. Je viens souvent à Fès et je peux affirmer que résider au centre de la Médina est la meilleure façon de découvrir cette ville magnifique. Et lorsque je reviendrai à Fès, ce sera obligatoirement au Riyad Sabah. Une expérience que nous recommandons vivement !

Greg (9/5): beautiful boutique riad stay - The place is beautiful, clean and supremely finished. A oasis of calm within the chaos of the bustling medina. The lighting in the room wasn't fantastic. They would benefit from putting a brighter bulb in. Not really an issue just preference.

The staff were warm & engaging, It was a completely authentic Riad full of colour and charm befitting a restored 15th century Riad Breakfast was plentiful , the rooms very comfortable , most of which overlooked an inviting pool, and a fast laundry service which we needed. We had an early flight out and they kindly provided a breakfast pack and organised a taxi for us. No complaints.

Wonderful place with amazing swimming pool. - Everything is top class at this ryad, which is amazing because the location around looks very poor and neglected, but as soon as you enter you find a top class, clean, wonderful, classy environment, with a fantastic staff. We were immediately offered tea and biscuits by the pool, which is fantastic. The room was amazing, like the breakfast. The bed was very comfortable, and the area was very quiet. The price was excellent value, much more compared to the other ryad we tried in Fes. Honestly I cannot find any area of potential improvement.
Wendy (7/5): Expectations exceeded and unmet! Yes both!! - Breakfast was lovely. Fruit, cheese, jam, breads and cakes, plus tea, coffee, yoghurt and fresh orange. The pool was refreshingly cold, but climbing to the roof terrace and embracing the view soon warmed you up. Location near the blue gate made it easy to avoid getting lost in the Medina, while still benefitting from being in its unique atmosphere. We arrived on a Friday lunchtime and were not shown round the building or shown where all the facilities were, which felt a bit unwelcoming. Had that happened, I would have made an appointment for a hammam and massage.

Jessica (10/5): - Riad Sabah is just a short distance off of a main souk so it is very conveniently located. When we first walked in the doors, we immediately felt that we walked into an oasis in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. The address on google maps is not completely accurate so you will need to be prepared to wonder a bit past the location on the map, and make sure you know what the front door looks like. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. We were greeted with a great breakfast every morning and they were accommodating with your scheduling needs. We both enjoyed a 30 minute hammam with 30 minute massage. It was extremely enjoyable. Make sure you are prepared to pay for this in cash as they do not accept credit card payments for the hammam. I would highly recommend this riad. I would definitely stay here again!
Malgorzata (9/5): Superb - Perfect location in medina, close to Ain Zetoun parking -good for those who travel by car. Very professional staff. Beautiful place, clean, calm. Hamman on place. Quite basic breakfasts, every day the same and mostly sweet ones. You can pay with your card only for hotel rooms - food, hamman, taxes should be payed by cash.

Hedwig (10/5): Just the perfect Riad if you want to visit Fez and stay in or close to the Medina. - Really amazing place to stay in. We stayed there in August, so it was pretty hot. But the patio with the pool was wonderful during the day to sit, relax, play and cool off. The Riad also was perfect to explore the Medina. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was good. We were really sad, that we only had four days in Fez and in the Riad. Only thing that could have been better, was the aircon upstairs in the room, where our kids slept. It was really loud, but you had to have it on during the night because of the high temperature in August. The aircon downstairs near our bed was fine. It was a different model.
Nivedita (8/5): Great location, comfortable room. - It was clean and location was great. Easy to get to the souks. Room was beautiful and good size. Abram was friendly and helpful. Breakfast can be better. Maybe some type of eggs or savory thing would be great. Also some confusion about the staff sending someone to help with bags at the blue gate and then no one showing up. Pool had a lot of dead flies.
Ruth (8/5): A bit of a walk but all good - The Riad had a pool, which we were not able to use during our stay. It was nice to have a living room between the bedrooms where we could sit together. Service was friendly and attentive. Our driver called ahead so someone came to meet us at the Blue Gate, otherwise, we would not have found it easily inside the Medina. I misplaced an envelope with documents and thought I had left it in our room after check-out. I wrote the Riad and they immediately responded that they had cleaned the room and didn't find it there. Breakfast was good. I had expected the Riad to be much closer to the Blue Gate than it actually was. But the walk through the busy main street with little shops and street sellers did give us a better sense of the contrast between the relative mayhem of the outside world and the peace and tranquility of the interior of the Riad. It was not easy lugging our suitcases through the cobblestone streets and carrying them up to the 3rd floor. But once we have settled in, we were fairly comfortable in our room. The upside was being able to go out and do some shopping even late at night. If you want to dine in, you'll need to inform the desk one day ahead.

While the breakfast tended to be repetitive, the discovery that eggs could be requested added variety. Dinner, although correct, seemed slightly expensive compared to options in the Medina. Nevertheless, it was an overall great stay.
