- Molly (1/5): Perfect until 5am…. - The location was perfect with convenient parking Woke up at 5am by a fire alarm and kept outside for a long time, when we were allowed back inside the alarm still kept going off.

- Shane (4/5): Very disappointed that we were put in a room that stunk of cigarettes and with the smoke alarm stuffed with tissues; whi - The hotel is in a fab location, close to the Arena with a large subsidised car park next to it and not too far from the city centres shops or bars either. Instantly when we walked into our room we could smell cigarette smoke and noticed that the smoke alarm was stuffed with tissues. We complained about this immediately to reception but had to headed out for our meal reservation & then show at the arena. We were later emailed to say that they’d sorted our room out, they’d sprayed the room and left the air conditioning on so the smell was gone; however, when we returned after the show it still stunk but it was late & we simply had to sleep in there.

Nothing major and not the staffs fault, but because people forget to leave their room keys and they were expecting a lot of other guests, they couldn't give us a 2nd room key which would have been useful.

Found out on arrival that check in requires a physical debit or credit card (don't accept contactless). Huge queue whilst everyone finds cards/calls someone to bring a card/works out what their pin is. The receptionist took my card away and held it/did stuff with it behind the counter where I couldn't see. Really weird! Staff were really abrupt when people didn't have a card or were surprised by needing a card. Room was way too hot and the air con switches off every few hours so you have to get up in the night to turn it back on repeatedly. I've stayed here lots of times and always been really happy with it but this time it just seemed a bit scruffy. Manky stains on the carpet in the room.
- AJ (6/5): not up to usual ibis standard but still fair value for money - value for money, size of room and generally met expectations bed not as comfortable as other ibis we have stayed at- mattress felt old and worn- sagged in the middle. the bed had not been made up properly , with the bottom sheet the wrong way round, only covering half the mattress, and when we remade it we found a credit card on the mattress underneath which was all very worrying. we took it to the reception desk but noone attempted to give us any explanation or feedback.

- Claudio (9/5): Great Location, Comfortable Stay, and Excellent Breakfast Value - Good location and very good value for money. The room was comfortable and practical for a longer stay, with a desk to work, a good shower, and enough storage space. The breakfast was excellent, with a good variety of food, fruit, and drinks each morning. One aspect that could improve is the customer service experience. The staff were not unfriendly, but interactions often felt distant and not very guest-oriented. For example, questions were sometimes answered quite briefly without much engagement, and breakfast items were removed very quickly even while guests were still eating. Some instructions about the hotel facilities were also not always clearly explained. Overall, I would still recommend the hotel because of the location, comfort, and value, but a more welcoming and attentive service would make the experience much better.
