Guest Reviews
- Brian (10/5): - Couldn’t ask for a more friendly welcome. We had odd sleeping arrangements and they took care of our needs with a smile!
- Cynthia (10/5): - Great experience comfortable bed!
- Trent (10/5): - So glad I was able to find this property near our favorite beach. Alexa was a gracious host and very friendly. The downstairs area was nicely stocked with coffee, pastries, cereal, etc.
- Victor (10/5): - Romantic, extremely clean, nice rooms, close to many beautiful beaches and Alexa the Inn keeper was great.
- Matthew (10/5): Beautiful property that’s worth a stay! - We absolutely loved our stay at the Wayward Traveller’s Inn!
The hotel itself is gorgeous, a really stunning piece of property tucked away in the quiet suburbs. Aleksa (the owner) was so so lovely, she showed us around and really made us feel settled. The rooms themselves are gorgeous, with plenty of space and all the amenities you could need.
We really enjoyed our stay here, being able to sit out on the veranda in the evening on a comfy chair, watching a thunderstorm roll overhead as the sun set was one of the highlights of the trip!
I would highly recommend and would love to stay again.
- Darlene (10/5): - Came to visit the white sands Buddhist center
- Jackie (10/5): Really clean and comfortable. - Clean, very friendly, each room has a theme. My room was the adventurer which was great to see all the interesting items. But also this Bed and Breakfast is very well run. It is spotlessly clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable and apparrently youcan even adjust it to your preference. I didnt need to change and combined with air con which is quiet but effective ( unlike the dehydrating jet engines many hotels have) i had the best nights sleep in the whole of my month's tour.
It is a really easy drive from the airport and easier to the kennedy space centre. But there is also great opportunity to see wonderful wildlife
- Ashley (10/5): Wonderful historic bed and breakfast home! - Awesome and very comfortable stay in a charming historic bed and breakfast. Very relaxing and quiet. Hosts were very accommodating to us. Breakfast was tasty. Bathroom and room were very clean and comfortable. Great hot water and water pressure! (Big deal for us in the historic homes). Will definitely stay here again when in town.
- Wendi (10/5): Charming and quaint - This bed and breakfast is so quaint and charming. The bedroom was spacious and they had an upstairs porch for the evening breeze. There were free range chickens running around. It had an old timer vibe but with sleep smart mattresses and mini splits. No TVs in rooms though so bring your iPads.
- Diane (10/5): Great visit - Had a great stay. The hosts, Karrie and Roan, were very warm, welcoming m, and knowledgeable. We’d gladly stay here again!
- Suzie (10/5): Weekend Stay - Stayed at this lovely old Inn for two nights, the hosts, Karrie and Roan were excellent and very knowledgeable about the area, we ended up adding the Orlando Wetlands to our trip and so glad they told us about it. Our room (the Birding room) was lovely and the bed was soo comfortable. Plus warm biscuits for breakfast, perfect
- Carol (10/5): Great place to stay. - Great place to stay. Comfortable beds and room. We enjoyed relaxing on the upper porch when not sight seeing.Took a bike ride on the vintage bikes and even seen a launch from Kennedy space center right from that porch. The owners Karrie and Roan were friendly and helpful.
- MICHELLE (10/5): What a gem!! - Upon arrival we were quickly greeted at the door and given a tour of the home and shown our room. This place is kept amazingly clean considering its age. The bedding and towels were top notch and super comfortable and luxurious. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. The kitchen was often an area to meet others staying and/or the hosts for some nice conversation. We loved hanging out in the front porch in the evenings. Just a few things to consider... This is not your standard hotel. There is no TV in the individual rooms and you cannot lock your room door unless you are inside. So when we left for the day we had to leave it unlocked, but we felt comfortable doing so consider the area and environment. We would definitely stay again next time we're in the area.
- Amy (10/5): Quick getaway - We just needed a place to stay for a quick getaway and this place has been great! Very historic. Friendly owners. Comfortable bed. Quiet and relaxing.
- Kirsten (10/5): - What a cute place! Beautiful historic house. Sweet owners who were fantastic to communicate with before the trip and fun to hang with at the house. Great lil breakfast with hard boiled eggs. Homemade banana bread, yoghurts, fruit, toast stuff and cereals. Excellent coffee and water and juice available to grab from communal fridge. We were in town for a wedding at Ever After Farm and it was super convenient. We loved our stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very nice - Like staying at a friend's house

The hosts are incredible people and make you feel like you arrived at home. Lots of interaction with other guests. Amazing fresh ground coffee at breakfast. Already on our travel calendar for next time through this area.

- Joel (10/5): - Excellent place to stay! Great hosts and literally a minute off the Coast to Coast trail!
- Shelley (10/5): - Super clean, convenient, and friendly. Breakfast was perfect, lots of choices for cereal, pastries, yougurt, fruit, etc, plus a hot dish. Super quiet at night. Other guests were up before 7 and very noisy in dining room, don't stay in 1st floor rooms if you don't want to be awakened at the crack of dawn.
- Margaret (10/5): Wonderful stay - Perfect stay! Loved the charming home and the hosts were fantastic. Will definitely stay here again. Comfortable accommodations and spotlessly clean. Five star all the way!
- Jean (10/5): - Location hosts were the best. Very pleasant and helpful., Inn was very clean and room had everything we needed.
- Stephanie (10/5): - The proprietors are charming, helpful, and very knowledgeable people. We feel so fortunate to have been guests at this beautiful inn.
- Casi (10/5): - I just want to start by saying the staff at this hotel are so kind and sweet. I stayed here with my (now) husband the night of our wedding (10.20.24) and came in to a bottle of sparkling wine and a sweet card from the staff. I was not expecting that but we really appreciated that. They were also very accommodating to making changes to check in times due to the day we were supposed to check in being our wedding day. They even offered a later check out time the following day since nobody was coming for the room. This is a great place to stay if you're looking for somewhere to stay in this area. Very very pleased with everything. <3
- Uriel (10/5): - It was so cute and Quaint!!! Staff was amazing!!! I will definitely look in to another stay in the future
- Beverly Spiker (10/5): - We showed our stay, it was quiet, we had the place to ourselves, it was cozy like home.
- Beverly Spiker (10/5): - Holly, the young lady that checked us in was patient while we were late, while she guided us, very kind.
Thank you
- Tara (10/5): - Lovely place and lovely staff. Perfect for my visit to Canaveral Seashore.
- Karen (10/5): - Holly was there to greet us when we arrived. Everything was wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.
- david (10/5): - great
- Tracie (10/5): - Owner was wonderful! Very accommodating . Bed was comfortable.
- David (10/5): A great stay at the Wayward Traveller’s - We had a 2 night stay as we were visiting the Kennedy Space Centre nearby. The location, room and amenities were great, a fully equipped kitchen where we could self serve breakfast, and great dining and lounge areas. The owner was great, warm, friendly and really helpful.
- SIMON (10/5): - The owner Sandra meet us at the door. Personal tour, full details explained. Looking forward to homemade bread in the morning. 👏👍
- michael (10/5): - It was very convenient
- Janet (10/5): - Host friendly and flexible .
Breakfast offered is cold cereal and single wrapped pastries . Not typical B&B offerings , expected a hot homemade breakfast .
- Brittney (10/5): - The Wayard Traveler’s Inn was a lovely bed and breakfast! We enjoyed our stay here for a wedding in the area. Sandra (host) was wonderful! She was very welcoming and always available. She even made homemade rolls & banana bread for the guests! She also had a nice variety of other breakfast foods & beverages. The property was very clean and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again!
- Pam (10/5): - Very charming & welcoming vibe. Sandra met us at checkin and explained a few things and showed us around. We had full use of the well-stocked kitchen while there, and access to the coffeemaker and snacks at all times. We enjoyed spending a little time relaxing on the balcony with an evening beverage. Spent some time in the comfortable living room reading & watching tv.
This B&B met all of our needs during our brief stay and we will certainly book there again.
- Jeff (4/5): - No television and road noise
- Scott (10/5): Home Away from Home - Communication from the owner Sandra prior to my visit was excellent and left no questions prior to my arrival. Sandra met me upon arrival and showed me around; I found her genuinely friendly, hospitable, and interesting to talk to.
I stayed in the Adventure Room which featured pleasing decor, plenty of electrical outlets and USB ports, a full bathroom (en suite, but nicely separated from sleeping area), and, most importantly, a comfortable Sleep Number bed and a whisper-quiet ceiling fan. The entire house is kept very clean, and, notably in comparison to most other places I've stayed, kitchen appliances and utensils are clean. The kitchen appears well-stocked with utensils and cookware, although I required little of this.
Breakfast is provided 5-10 A.M. daily; it includes coffee (Keurig) and creamer, water, snacks/pastries, microwaveable breakfast sandwiches, and fresh fruit. Sandra also bakes fresh bread (challah loaf each of my two days) which awaits guests in the kitchen upon waking. I particularly enjoyed TWTI because it happened to feature many of the things I use/consume in my own home. I also appreciate the electric water kettle (she provides herbal teas, btw) and recycling bin.
Bonus: I was able to watch a Cape Canaveral SFS rocket launch from TWTI parking lot!
Excellent inn and fantastic host! Would stay again, for sure.
- Russell (10/5): The BEST B & B I have ever stayed in!! - This is an amazing place and a wonderful Bed & Breakfast. It certainly lives up to its extraordinary high Customer Rating, and I will just say that I agree... it is a 10/10++. It is quaint, beautifully kept & maintained with all the charm you'd expect from a 150 year old home. The Innkeepers are kind and accommodating, and communicate with you very, very well!! The breakfast is self-serve continental, but with some hot breakfast sandwiches available, fresh bread, fruit, yogurt, etc. All the photos you see in the advertising are actual. We stayed in the Mardi Gras room - every room is themed (cute). If you are looking for something quaint, non-commercial hotel type of accommodation and like B & B, this is YOUR PLACE! And the prices were EXTREMELY reasonable. One food tip: try the local restaurant Victorio's Oyster Bar & Grill. Just 3 minutes away - a huge menu of authentic Italian food, steaks, fresh seafood, burgers, kids menu - and GREAT food & prices. It was packed but we only waited 20 minutes for a table and it was worth the wait. Thank you Sandra, our Innkeeper for you fabulous hospitality! We wish you & you family joy and happiness as you move to your next adventure!!
- Lori (10/5): - Great location to visit Kennedy Space Station. Sandra is very friendly and helpful.

- Jon (10/5): - The owner was on top of everything, even before we arrived. She made arrangements to meet us at our arrival time and make sure we had everything we needed. The property and amenities are as described. Lots of antiques in the house to add to the era of the structure. All in all, we had a great couple of nights!

I stayed in the bird room. Room had many beautiful bird photos that are printed on canvas. King size Bed was comfortable and there were extra blankets in case I needed them. Private bath, nice towels, hairdryer and toiletries were provided.
There were many options for options including homemade bread.
Great location for birding. Within 20 minute drive to several excellent spots.

- Dean (10/5): Very nice B&B close to all the attractions. - Beautiful old home, very friendly owner. Very nice stay.
- Susan (6/5): - We booked here hoping to use the bikes, but they weren’t useable. The shower doors wouldn’t close properly and the shampoo dispensers fell off the wall in the tiny shower. Also, the showerhead was rickety and we feared it would fall off. Couldn’t lock our door with the old skeleton key. Breakfast items were packaged. Very nice host. Good location for visiting Merritt Island and the National seashore.
- Lawrence (10/5): - Many antiques in the home. Our room was decorated with memorabilia from New Orleans - really neat!
- Sheila (10/5): - Clean and comfortable. Easy and friendly check-in. Very quiet. We spent the night before boarding our cruise ship the next morning. Less than 30 minutes from the port in a quiet location close to local restaurants. Would definitely stay again.
- Troy (10/5): Wayward Traveler's Inn - Clean, comfortable, and quiet. The site manager was there when I arrived (and I arrived late due to my fight schedule, no problem whatsoever) and she was there when I checked out. Very pleasant stay! Would definitely stay again

- Jason (10/5): - Wife found this place as we were looking for lodging. Great decision. Really enjoyed the stay
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Overall great experience! Definitely returning
- Joe (4/5): - It was very lovely to see. Unfortunately? We were put in the Bird room which abbutted a main highway in Mims Florida which kept us awake almost the entire night. Just as bad, we read not to touch the thermostat as it was set at a comfortable 72 degrees. This did not happen. It just happened to be the coldest night of the year and when it got down to 37 degrees? I asked my husband to find a thermostat because every piece of metal in my body was screaming in pain. My best guess is that it was under 40 degrees with 2 more blankets put on our bed at 3:30 a.m. He finally found the thermostat and set it at 75 to warm us up? But the traffic was picking up again. Nice, hot showers with an unhealthy breakfast(no hot breakfast) was enough for us to leave early. I met Kevin? But not Tina. So my very first B&B experience was not a great one. We stayed in a warm hotel the next night with a hot breakfast. Joe and Joanna
- Gloria (10/5): - Tina was an angel, what a wonderful lady. Our stay was even better than we expected. We will definitely stay here again. Amazing bed and breakfast in a quiet little town !!!
- Anne (10/5): - Comfortable and inviting. Nothing negative
- James (10/5): Good Bed and Breakfast location - It is a charming and comfortable Bed and Breakfast. Beds extremely comfortable. Would recommend for any couple looking to get off the beaten path.
- Barbara (10/5): - This quaint little BnB is very clean and well kept. It was perfect for our overnight stay. Use of the refrigerator was so helpful. Breakfast: oatmeal, breakfast coffee cakes & breakfast bars, oranges, bananas, yoghurt, coffee, water & juice. We would stay here again if we are in the area for an overnight stay.
- Sara (10/5): Charming! - The Wayward Traveler's Inn was delightful! Charming home filled with antiques, nice spacious bedroom, very clean! I was concerned about noise with it having 5 ?bedrooms- but it was very quiet. I highly recommend it for couples!
- LUIS (10/5): - Ery nice B&B. Very relaxing spot. Easy access to area roads and eateries. Rustic. Very quiet.
- David (10/5): - Very good
