• Mary Aumme (5/5): Days inn cypress tx - The bed was comfortable. Good bed... The room was clean, and the bathroom had a tub a nice touch. The breakfast was small but good choices. The microwave and fridge in the room are nice. The room is good for the price if you get the quoted price... However the clerk overcharged me. I paid one price with booking. Com ($80.16) and the hotel doubled it calling it a deposit. They never returned the money to me. The room was supposed to be about 80 bucks.. plenty for a cheap hotel.. they charged my credit card $152.70. I'm hoping booking.com can get the money back because I was scammed at this hotel on a holiday weekend, no less. I stayed a second night a Sunday and they charged more than a Saturday.. was supposed to be 80.00 total.. they ended up charging by credit card over $ 99.00.. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.. they scam your credit card hoping you don't notice... S. L. G. 281-623-6953 The overcharging on my credit card. The Maid or whoever it is banging on your door a couple hours before check out several times. You need to call the office to stop them or they'll open your door. I suggest paying cash for the deposit. Check your receipt and bank right away. Otherwise, it's a good room for the price. The people are nice and it's clean quiet etc..

• Debbie (1/5): The people running this hotel should be ashamed of the poor upkeep. Do not stay here. - The entire place was filthy, smelled terrible and was falling apart. The room had rusting lights and was dirty. There was not even a cup in the room for water. The breakfast in the morning was hardly what I would call edible. There was little coffee left, old milk, stale packets of oatmeal that were hard, rotting bananas and the entire floor and walls were sticky and dirty. All the furniture was peeling. This was directly across from the hospital where people are visiting sick loved ones and to think this is an option for people to stay who are already suffering. The family running this place should be ashamed. Charging $100 a night is robbery.

My room was located right in the front and the second night there someone was making a lot of noise right outside my room at 3am not sure what was happening but other than that the stay was nice. • Mrinal Raj (2/5): - Urgent Complaint – Demand for Refund and Compensation To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally lodge a serious complaint regarding my recent stay at your property. I had just been discharged from the hospital and booked a room expecting rest and recovery. Instead, I was subjected to a mosquito-infested room, where I spent the entire night fighting off bites, including to my face. This is not only unacceptable but also a health hazard. I reported the issue to staff, only to be told the manager was “not around.” Nothing was done to resolve the situation. The conditions I endured violated the basic standards of health, safety, and hospitality. Because of this negligence, I am demanding: 1. A full refund of my stay. 2. Compensation for the additional medical stress and costs I am now facing as a result of your unsafe conditions. If this matter is not addressed immediately, I will have no choice but to: • File complaints with the local health department and consumer protection agencies. • Leave detailed public reviews warning others of these dangerous conditions. • Seek legal remedies, including recovery of medical expenses, through small claims court. The picture of our room had a couch which was a selling point for our booking but there was no couch. The breakfast was not great. We were very disappointed in the options. Mainly it was just bread, cereal, and waffles. Yogurt, fresh fruit, and maybe some other warm, protein filled foods would have been nice.

• Andre (8/5): - I didn’t get the welcoming and assistance I’ve come accustomed to when traveling. Some restrictions they have in place should be on their website or app. For instance, paying your deposit in cash. I spoke to management about the situation and why their card reader didn’t except three different credit cards. I went down the street to the gas station and purchased gas with one card and made a purchase inside the station with the other credit card used at the motel. This all occurred at 1:30am when I arrived tired and weary. Go figure.

And when I got there they said it was a $50 deposit I said other hotels don’t charge a deposit he lied and said yes they do I advised him that I am a frequent traveler I just book online go and they give my keys he said they lie to you and sneak and hold the deposit and then release it I told the “manager” that is incorrect and has never ever happened to me. Also on the sliding doors in the front it says that they have a 9.1 rating on booking.com clearly that was a lie I showed him the rating of 6.1 and his immediate response was ok I upgraded you to suit which was also a lie the room was just a room with a bed extremely hot and smells like mildew he also stated this will be the best days inn that I’ll ever stay in and came to be the worst. And when you check out they go to the room to check in see if there are any “damages” before they return you your deposit I’ve never witnessed anything like it before. Never will I stay here again lol it was a complete joke

Breakfast very limited only waffles and cereal, it would be nice if they improve the breakfast options, property is nice enough but They need to clean it better, I found some pest control problems inside some areas. • Dorothy (8/5): The room was comfortable and clean except for leftover used soap in the shower. I believe this was an oversight only and - The location was the most important for me on this trip. Although, I didn’t travel with my dog on this visit, I’m always looking for decent places that accommodate pets! This one does, and they seem to accommodate pets and their humans to stay on the first floor if requested and/or available! I also will only stay in hotels with doors on the rooms that open into a hallway, especially when I travel solo. I did not use the pool but it seemed busy and very clean. I’m very familiar with the area as I lived in Houston for over twenty years. The immediate area right around the hotel is not the best, but the advantage of it being right off hwy. 290 (Northwest Freeway) was more important to me. It would be like staying in a hotel in the middle of downtown. Plenty of nearby conveniences (restaurants, gas, shops) to be enjoyed one or two exits from Huffmeister. But like any other place, just be cautious. I’ve stayed here twice and always felt safe.

The chairs has stains on them, the hallway looks like it has not been vacuumed in a very long time and it had the worst odor. When I contacted the staff about this, they said they will look into it...very rude about it

I tried multiple times and never answered the phone. I needed more towels and tried to call and never answered the phone. The bed side light was never fixed. The front desk said that maintenance shows up at 8pm. Maintenance never showed up to fix the bed side light. The breakfast area was busy and most of the dining options were empty
