• Lærke (5/5): - Efter vores mening var hotellet for dyrt i forhold til kvaliteten. Ved ankomst til badeværelset lå der døde dyr i badekarret, og vandet virkede ikke. Vi kontaktede personalet, som sendte en mand op for at fixe det. Problemet blev løst, men han efterlod badeværelset vådt og beskidt med skoaftryk over det hele, så vi selv måtte gøre rent bagefter. Vi undrede os over, at vi ikke bare fik tilbudt et nyt værelse, når der tydeligvis var problemer. Poolen fremstod også beskidt. Alt i alt var opholdet okay, men slet ikke pengene værd, og vi vil ikke anbefale det til andre.

• Jean-Paul (10/5): Super séjour au hai yen - Petit déjeuner buffet varié. De plus le personnel est très accueillant et accède à toutes vos demandes.
• hubert (9/5): Séjour agréable malgré l’aspect vieillissant de l’hôtel - Nous avions une chambre au dernier étage à l’arrière du bâtiment, côté jardin. C’était calme et lumineux car nous avions des fenêtres de chaque côté de la chambre. Le bâtiment est malheureusement un peu délabré, la peinture des couloirs est écaillée, les balcons sont défraîchis et il y a des fuites du toit au dessus du balcon du dernier étage ce qui rend le carrelage glissant et dangereux. La piscine serait aussi à refaire, le petit jardin autour est agréable. La réception est vaste et le gérant professionnel. La chambre en elle même est vieillissante mais encore agréable car elle est grande. Serviettes changées tous les jours. Situé en dehors de la zone touristique, l’hôtel est toutefois proche à pied du centre ville. L’aspect vieillot de l’établissement peut déconcerter mais les chambres sont malgré tout agréable.

Propreté et Personnel efficace, je recommande - Cela fait 3 ans que je viens au Hai Yen Hotel : placé juste en dehors du tumulte et à 10mn à pieds du centre. Calme, piscine, personnel très agréable et le manager Ryan est très efficace. On y reserve aussi nos navettes et excursions c’est très pratique et sûr. Rapport qualité prix au top. Le bâtiment est certes ancien mais il a du charme. Si je reviens un jour à Hỏi An, c’est ici que je logerai. /

• Sheng Fu (6/5): Voldoende - Verblijf was prima. Douche wordt goed warm. Airco werkt naar behoren. Koelkast aanwezig met vriesvak. Parkeren (van motoren) op eigen terrein, dus fijn als je met eigen vervoer komt. Fijne locatie, iets verder van het oude stad maar nog wel op loopafstand hierdoor geen geluidsoverlast. Douche is in de badkuip, dit is glad. Verder was de badkuip beschadigd en zaten er al roestplekken in. Verder veel muggen op de kamer. Waarschijnlijk door kier onder de deur.
• My (4/5): I've been to cheap hostels with warmer water and cleaner bathrooms... - The hotel was just about a 5 min walk to the old quarter which was nice. The staff was super helpfull and friendly! The bed was nice and the TV worked. It was not really clean. The bathroom had what i think was mold on some walls and the roof, the bathtub was old and looked dirty and the shower preassure wasnt great. But the worst part was both the sewage smell that came out when i used the sink and/or had the toilet seat or bathtub drain open. But also that there was NO hot water!!! Its nice if you come home sweaty but not if you wanna wash your hair and you already have a small cold or if you wanna take a bath. Never tried the pool which i looked forward to bc it looked dirty and had some algae in it. The bathroom also had quite some ants which usally dosent bother me but on the last evening i saw 2 ants walking across the bed right by my face....which wasnt pleasant. The fridge didnt work at first bc the outlet didnt work, but the really nice receptionist helped come up with a temporary solution of putting it on the table so it could reach another outlet. But it did take away my table area but i also couldnt uae the tv remote unless standing upp and walking really close to the tv everytime i wanted to tur it on/off, change channels, or fix the volume. The walls and doors were really thin and had some gaps so i was awaken everytime ppl was having fun outside in the pool (i was between this pool and the nextdoor hotels pool) when i slept in bc of my cold which worsened. This might be a personal opinion but im not a fan of having an AC directed exactly against the bed. Bc when you turn it on in the evening you just get a bunch of cold air blasted against you, so when you get cold from it and turn it off you realuse that the room is hot and you need to turn it on again. And it repeats. I couldnt turn of the fan or direct it more up or down so it just blasted directly on me.

The pool was one of the best so far i loved it My room was ground floor by the pool which was good but there was a table and chairs right outside my door which people used and being loud in the morning so I kept moving it away

• Tanja (8/5): Fint opphold - De hadde et fint basseng område, men bassenget var veldig skittent og algete. Derimot renset de det når jeg spurte de om det i resepsjonen. Hotellet ligger sentralt. Likte også at de vasket klær for meg (selv om det er dyrere enn lokalt), jeg betalte 40 000 vnd for1 kg. Andre tar halve prisen rundt omkring. De har rengjøring hver dag. Veldig hyggelige og hjelpsomme ansatte ved hotellet. Det var veldig lytt, så vanskelig å sove. Det står at hotellet har massasje, men det stemmer ikke. Feil informasjon på Booking.com. De har massasje plasser i nærheten av hotellet. Jeg vil anbefale den som er på bildet/vedlegg.

Didn’t really have any bothers at all during our stay Pool area needed a bit of a tidy up. Pool looked a bit grim (LOTS of potential though!) Room and Bathroom were both a bit dated and could use a revamp.

• Craig (7/5): Besides the missing 20 I was happy with our stay - The location was perfect away from the hustle.and bustle but close enough to walk everywhere. The reception staff were amazing to us, friendly and helpful.at all times. The hotel is on the older side but I enjoyed it and worth the only I paid. We didn't use the pool but from our balcony it looked inviting. My wife discovered a 20 US bill missing from her bag when we arrived at out next location. She had forgotten to lock her bag during cleaning. We never reported it to reception as we had already left. Always lock up your valuables is my warning.

• Alvaro (5/5): Not so good - The bed, it was comfortable and the room is big with a nice desk. The location is very good, in one of the streets very close to old town. The description and the photos. They don't correspond to reality. I know this happens in all hotels, but in this one the difference was quite significant. It looks like a hotel from the 90s that has never been well maintained, and the swimming pool, although operational, had all the paint peeling off the walls and floor. It's a shame, because the hotel has a lot of potential.

• Emma (6/5): Good location and value for money but needs updating - Good location for walking everywhere Pool needs some maintenance. Found cockroaches in bathroom coming up through the drains in bath and sink. Seen rats running around outside by pool area
