Номера всегда берём целиком, на семью Один минус, дверь со стеклом, и когда в коридоре включают свет, он попадает в спальню.

nelzy nelz (9/5): Warm and cozy, feel like home. - The facilities itself is a work of art. It's felt cozy and warm. The proprietor Ms Albina really treated me like I'm home. And the food is cook as per your preference freshly made whenever you need it. The Room I rented out has a private bathroom and it's located at the far corner of the house which is near the shared toilet. Each time the slammed the door shut it can be heard from the room.

Honestly, I thought the reviews were scams because they were so positive, but turns out I'm just too cynical, and pleasantly so, because I had one of the best experiences ever. Nancy (10/5): Beautiful boutique hotel with comfortable room and nice staff - My room was very comfortable and well decorated. I love the entire boutique hotel and their decor details. The bathroom was clean and had to ask how to get hot water in the shower upstairs—turn it all the way to hot to trigger the heater and turn it to your desired temperature slowly. I didn’t order any food but the kitchen always smelled delicious with the staff cooking something. Location not that walkable from the center but fine with Yandex.

Очень гостеприимная администратор. Удобные жестковатые в меру матрасы. Шикарный лофт, оформление супер! Такое я встретила в Италии. Можно купить напитки или бесплатно выпить чай. Manuel (9/5): Super-extra clean hostel, kind of far but super comfortable - I like it how the place is extra-clean, and they force everyone to leave shoes outside. This helps a lot. I like how the place looks like a big house where you could share conversations with other guests, although this did not happen to me. Bathroom were always available and extra clean. It is kind of far from everywhere, but to be honest I did not manage to understand the city.
Owen (10/5): Excellent value for money, beautiful place run by lovely people. - Amazing place to stay. Absolutely spotless and a really interesting house/construction. The people who run the hostel are fantastic, everything works and the rooms were beautiful. You'd easily pay five times the amount in Europe for the quality. Every part of the hostel has had thought and care put into it. A wonderful place run by wonderful people. I'd suggest light music in the hostel. The nature of the architectural design with a high atrium means it can feel quite clinical. Even when there were people there everyone kept to themselves and tended to naturally talk quietly. Perhaps light classical music or jazz during the day would give the space more energy. But other than that minor suggestion it's an amazing place to stay.

Ellie (9/5): A lovely relaxing good quality hostel that is great value for money. - Sweet home is a lovely hostel at a very good price. We had a private room with shared bathroom and shower which were very clean and only shared with the other rooms on our floor. The kitchen and living space is very good and it was relaxing and very nice to meet other nice guests who were staying. The staff are very friendly and kind! I would recommend this accommodation to anyone who is looking for a value stay in Shymkent, which also seems like a very cool town, we were only passing through but I wish we had more time to explore it. The aircon was a little slow and it took a couple of hours for the room to cool down. Everything else was perfect!

There are tourists here indeed, and it is not the cheapest hostel in the city, however, the slight difference in price between this place and the cheapest hostels isn't enough to discourage undesirable guests. I stayed 5 nights and it was impossible to sleep or relax during the 45 degrees heatwave because of domestic guests in the mens dorm who are not what any tourist wants. Playing loud music, taking phone calls at 2am, urinating all over the toilet seats, and they even broke the air conditioning so we had no AC on the hottest days of the year. A really poor class of Kazakh men checking-in ruined it for me, however, even with this, I have to give almost 10/10 or 5 stars... almost. The staff are professional and nice. The place was kept impeccable, and the outside area is great (other than when the Kazak guests are smoking over your food when there are literally a dozen comfortable places to sit around the garden). The interior is way better than the photos. An absolute gem! I think they should put the price up ten or fifteen percent, however, to price-out non-tourist guys.

Good kitchen with oven, stove, oil, salt, tea. Share dorm is airy and spacious. Overall a bright, clean and well maintained hostel. The staff were helpful with my questions. Kate (1/5): Beware of their check out policy! - The hostel is very nicely designed and it was a good place to meet people but I would NEVER stay here again! I was kicked out of the hostel as they ‘apparently’ have a policy that unless you pay, you can’t stay in the hostel after checkout. I have stayed at over 100 hostels and I’ve never had this before. This policy isn’t written anywhere, even in the set of rules they make you sign when you check in. Had i known, I wouldn’t have booked at night train. The lady was VERY rude and followed me around the hostel until I’d collected my stuff and even made me leave the garden area while I was waiting for my taxi. It was 39 degrees outside too. Ruined the whole hostel for me and I’ve never had such a bad experience in all of my time travelling.

Niti (3/5): Not a Sweet Home - This was the most underwhelming experience my partner and I had, especially after reading everyone’s positive review. Let me explain… 1. The hostel is literally in one corner of Shymkent. If you are wanting to visit Shymkent, most definitely wouldn’t recommend this place cause it’s nowhere close to the city centre or any of the attractions - not even walking distance! 2. We had booked a “suite” for ourselves, because we wanted our own private bathroom but that’s all that the suite offered to us. The room was tiny and the bed was one of the most uncomfortable bed we have slept on. It caved in the centre. 3. The hospitality was straight up rude! On our day of the check out, we had a late night flight - at 11.30pm. Thankfully they let u keep our luggage for the day, so we went about exploring the city and came back at 8pm (we informed the lady that we will be back late and she said ok). When we came back, we requested her if we could eat something before we left and she straight up told us NO. We figured its probably because we don’t have room there, so we requested her if we could instead eat in the garden area - and she simply told us that “we are not suppose to be here”. My partner and I truly do not understand what the praises are all about this place cause we definitely did not have a pleasurable experience.

Tsz (9/5): Cozy stay - The host is nice. The design of the house is authentic. The facilities are well-managed. The kitchen kitchen and public area are very nice. Rooms are comfortable. Quite at night. Like home. Accidentially, electronic shortage at night lasts long for a couple of hours. The location is a bit away from the center.
Vignesh (10/5): Fantastic hostel in Shymkent - This hostel was one of the best hostels that I have ever stayed at. The rooms were very cozy. They have a limit of 2 people per room. The beds are spacious and comfy. I really liked the theme of the hostel which was very artistic and pretty. The owner was very friendly and courteous. The staff do not speak English. You might will have to use Google translate if you don't speak Russian

Lana (10/5): A true piece of art if you care for art - The artistic feel, the owner who did the whole concept is amazing!! I did not want to leave so cosy and perfect it was, very clean too When I arrived I was very happy and smiling and trying to talk to a Russian woman who received me, she showed me around but never smiled back to me and at one point just left to another room in the middle of the phrase I was talking to her, I found this extremely rude. The other Russian who worked their cared just for the administration, passport, money was stressed to do everything and never even looked at me or smiled passing by which was weird. I had a very strange feeling and my mood of a total enthusiasm about the place was totally spoiled. But the next day another lady was working she was very nice and warm
Nolyn (7/5): Good - The cleanliness was outstanding, beds comfortable and large. Quiet area and beautiful inside. Pretty out of the city limits, which is fine. The part that bothersome was the unfriendly staff. Uncomfortable at times

Marije (10/5): We ended up staying much longer than planned in this wonderful, super cosy hostel! - Lovely, cosy hostel in Shymkent! We really enjoyed the peaceful vibe and atmosphere of the place. Moreover, both me and my boyfriend got sick during our stay and it was just the best place to rest and get better again. Staff was super friendly and helped us out with some problems we had while we were there. (Big shout-out for helping my boyfriend fix his motorbike). Having a towel in the kitchen could be convenient? But that's literally the only thing I can think of ;-)
Aleksandr (10/5): First I wanted to rate it 9, because of the location, the internet and hot water, but then I experienced staying in othe - - Beautiful place, - cozy, - not crowded, - nice owners, - international, - clean, - since shoes are to be left at the entrance, you can walk around barefoot - kitchen, stove, microwave, fridge - internet is not stable. It is possible to work remotely, but connection is being lost each 1-2 hours, so you need to reconnect at these moments and hope it works - you might need to wait for hot water quite a while. It is also not that stable, so you have to be quick sometimes. - buses stop going around half past eight in Shymkent, so the location might be subpar. Cabs are quite cheap though
Ni (9/5): Having a nice experience in Shymkent - I like the house very much. Very hommy and the facilities are very decent. The owner clearly maximize the space very well. Though I made a 2 night booking, but I only stayed for one night due to a sudden changed of my itinerary.
Bradley (10/5): Exceptional - Most beautiful hostel I’ve ever stayed at, itself a work of art filled with tasteful art works; yet feels like home-an impossible combination but they nailed it. Upper floor reached by suspended bridge without handrail (just Golden Gate style rigging) so take care and might not suit vertigo sufferers. Lovely helpful staff. Hot water still doesn’t seem to reach top floor; take shower downstairs
