We will definitely come back again! - Thee hotel is located in the beautiful town of Torno, where there are not many tourists, but it is easy to travel to other towns by ferry. The rooms have amazing views of the lake. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has excellent service and very tasty food. For breakfast, besides the usual snacks, there is always a hot omelet, fresh croissants, and coffee. The only small downside was the squeaky bed, but it did not ruin our stay.

• claude (9/5): Pour tous ceux qui ne dédaignent pas un hôtel"daté années 1970", nous recommandons cet établissement - Repas et petit dejeuner très complets et de bonne qualité. Hotel daté mais très propre. Il n'y a pas de ventilation dans la salle de bain / toilettes ou en tout cas seule une bouche d'aération placée très haut ne ventile pas.

• Martin (9/5): Traumhafter Blick auf den Comer See - Die Lage des Hotels ist einfach top: Hoch über dem Comer See und ein atemberaubender Blick vom Balkon. Im Zimmer hatten wir einen Kühlschrank, das war sehr praktisch. Man kommt auch leicht von Torno nach Como - entweder mit dem Bus (Haltestelle vor der Tür) oder mit dem Auto. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig und das Personal ist sehr nett und stets bemüht. Uns hat's sehr gut gefallen und wir kommen gerne wieder! Na, ja, das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aber konkret hat uns nichts gestört.

• Abigail (10/5): - We arrived during a landslide in Torno which had cut off the water supply to the area. Out original hotel had to cancel our reservation but we were stuck needing somewhere to stay and Glavjc took us in with only a few hours notice. The staff were incredibly resourceful in adjusting to the crisis to make guests as comfortable as possible and adapt to provide a full dinner service despite the obvious challenges. We took a day trip out to Como which was unaffected on the morning after we arrived and by the time we got back to Torno later that day, we had running water again. The restaurant was of a stunning quality, they were even capable of adapting to suit dietary preferences (vegan) as we were limited to were we could go during the crisis and took the time to remember my needs when we came down the following night, offering different dishes that they were able to adapt. The hotel owner was kind and accommodating, and clearly all of the staff take a great pride in treating their guests. It was a level of care I have rarely experienced and honestly felt moved by how much our happiness seemed to matter to them. Torno is a beautiful old, Italian town. The views are incredible and you can catch a pleasant boat ride to anywhere on the lake from a dock a few mins walk away. The view was incredible, and we had a little balcony to watch over the lake and enjoy the mist over the mountain tops. I just can't criticise these guys. The rooms suit the price point but absolutely everything else makes the whole package worth more.

• Lars (3/5): Vil ikke anbefale det til andre. - Udsigten fra værelset Jeg vidste godt på forhånd, at hotellet havde nogle år på bagen, men almindelig vedligeholdelse, på værelset køleskabet virkede ikke, og på badeværelset var overskabet i stykker flere steder. Forhænget til brusekabinen kunne ikke nå rundt med det resultat at vandet sprøjtede ud på gulvet bl.a. fordi brusehovdet trængte til rensning.

Quand au petit-déjeuner…un festin !!!! Quelques commentaires signalent la vétusté de la salle de bain. Nous concernant, on a eu un peu de mal avec le mitigeur de la douche mais tout est tellement propre et impeccable dans cet hôtel que ce petit détail ne nous a pas dérangé.
• Marco (10/5): Meraviglia sul lago - La gentilezza e la cortesia dei proprietari e di tutto lo staff, la struttura che ha qualche anno sulle spalle si sposa benissimo con il contesto naturalistico in cui si trova. L'hotel gode dei parcheggi di proprietà quindi zero problemi per la sosta. La colazione ricca di scelta sia dolce che salata e, come da nostra richiesta, anche senza glutine per celiaci. La camera, ben tenuta, godeva di una vista incantevole sul lago . Non mi è piaciuto dover andar via. Spero di poterci tornare presto

• Zamnius (8/5): Ein Ort, an den man gerne zurückkehrt und an dem der Preis, die Qualität und die Erwartungen an die Aussicht voll und ga - Wir waren für eine Nacht dort. Die Erfahrung war wunderbar. Wie meine Tochter sagte: "Der Blick, der sich vom Zimmer aus eröffnet, überschattet alle Probleme, die es im Hotel gibt." Das Zimmer hat alles, was man braucht. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Wir wollten nach dem Auschecken einen Spaziergang durch die Stadt machen. Das Hotel gab uns freundlicherweise die Erlaubnis, das Auto auf seinem Parkplatz abzustellen. Um ehrlich zu sein, als ich nach diesem Hotel ein anderes Hotel aussuchte, war ich auf der Suche nach etwas Ähnlichem. Das heißt, das Hotel Glavjk ist für mich ein großartiges Beispiel für die Kombination von Preis und Qualität geworden. Wenn wir nach Como zurückkehren, werden wir in diesem Hotel absteigen. Ich hatte keine Beschwerden wegen meines Aufenthalts in diesem Hotel. Vielleicht nicht sehr modern, aber das ist überhaupt kein Problem. Alles in allem ist alles in Ordnung.

The facilities are really good classics but clean and well organised. The staff were amazing Alex the waitress was a true professional ( long time no see such a great customer service). Food was truly outstanding I have had the best steak of my life and one of the best pasta dishes. Tiramisu in there is on another level. Really recommend.

Ils proposent plusieurs options au restaurant. Pour le petit déjeuner tout était accessible et renseigné au niveau des propositions sans gluten. Il y avait de tout : pain, plusieurs variétés de biscuits madeleine .Je n'ai pas eu à demander sauf à mon arrivée.
